Excellent restaurant other Indian restaurants should take a leaf out of there book
Amazing food. Amazing atmosphere. Waiter was very pleasant. Had a lovely evening with friends once again at Ashas. Will be coming back again❤️
Not enough Punjabi branch variety on menu n needed more seasoning.
The chicken on menu was way too expensive £20.
But staff were lovely.
Always Love ur food but not sure I’d come for breakfast again.
As always the food and service was brilliant pushed the boat out and had the president platter was awesome would recommend it to anyone
Amazing food. A little too overpriced. Amazing service and the staff were excellent
Tasting menu that was plentiful and very good
Asha's at Birmingham is a Superb Indian Restaurant with excellent Menu choice.
They have a good selection of wines and Soft drinks. Service is excellent.
Food amazing. We had Chicken Daabi and Lamb Saag. Both beautiful . The lamb was so tender and full of flavour. Starters were beautiful and everything tasted so fresh and like it had care taken in its preparation. The service was attentive but not obtrusive….
Excellent food, well presented, reasonably priced. Always an enjoyable experience.
Asha’s is a fabulous place, food, staff service, all wonderful can’t say much more than that. We love it
Very welcoming staff to start our evening, followed by what was the best Indian cuisine we have had for a long time if not ever! Tasty and portion size was perfect!
Will definitely be back 🍛
Food and service outstanding once again.. amazing would highly recommend
Very good ambiance, waiting staff are a credit to the restaurant. Mains were large portions and we all enjoyed our food. Occasion was my fathers 60th birthday and they did their best to make him feel special.
Experience menu.. Lamb on the platter was amazing.
The best indian food you can find
Would always recommend.
Amazing place and food. Part of Birmingham heritage.
Service was awful. Tables were sticky. Chicken tikka was bland. Amritsari fish was almost like liquid inside the batter, had a chicken nugget like taste. Took 25 minutes to fulfil an order for one diet coke. Didn’t bother to stay for mains. We were placed right by the kitchen and heat was unbearable. We asked to move as we had seen others ask to move tables. They said everywhere is hot but as we exited we clearly felt that further inside the restaurant it was cooler. Didn’t bother stay for mains. Overall it was terrible.
The service was impeccable. However as long time Asha customers the food was not so good. Keema was far far too salty. The chicken dhaba curry was less than mediocre as the chicken was tough and rubberised in taste and gravy was tasteless. Garlic in the rice was burnt. I raised it with the manager and there was no recovery just an apology. Will consider twice before booking Ashas from now on. Far better places in Birmingham and midlands. Ashas seems way overpriced and archaic. Menu isn’t innovative.
Excellent food delicious and service been to Asha’s a lot before lockdown and as always Excellent try the taster so much food would definitely recommend Asha’s and will be returning soon.
Excellent food and service in a lovely setting definitely recommend
A perfect Indian restaurant experience - great food, great service and a gresr setting! Also was the best biriyani I've ever had!!
We had a really lovely meal. The dishes were really tasty. It was great to see colleagues again
The food was flavoursome and each curry dish had a distinct taste. The cocktails and mocktails are sublime too.
Great food, no doubts about that.
Good amount of veg options for both starters and main course.
Breads - we had Naan, Kulcha & tandoori roti, were pretty average to be honest.
Ambience was good but just too loud for our liking. Also, if you have booked a table for 3/4 you mighy end up a bit close to the next table.
Overall, decent experience but was expecting more given the hype it has.
Unfortunately Ashas has become one of the most exorbitant places to eat in Birmingham. I don’t know how they can justify raising their prices by 80% within this last year. Not so long ago even popadoms were complimentary but now nothing is offered as a gesture gratis. Of course the food continues to be of a high standard and the ambiance is very cosy. The waiters also are so patient and respectful gracious and welcoming.
We went early evening for my son’s 5th birthday. They brought out his dinner as soon as they could and we had delicious starters. The children’s menu is perfect with good choice and just the right portion size. We ordered too much as always but it was all melt in the mouth delicious. They even bought out a slice of chocolate cake with a candle on for my son who was over the moon.
Asha’s is probably the best curry in Birmingham. Refined & relaxed atmosphere, professional service. Great food. Other places come & go but Asha’s has been here for many years & is a stalwart of Birmingham’s Asian cuisine offering.
Absolutely fantastic meal and staff were very helpful.
Love coming here, great food and great service! Will definitely be back.
Very poor quality food . Dry chicken , dry lamb , dry chocolate cake … very overpriced .. would definitely would not recommend
Had better food at my local Indian restaurant
I have to say this is one of the best curries i have ever had , the staff and ambience were amazing ..
I booked a table to celebrate my partners 50th birthday, it certainly exceeded all expectations , all staff were professional and friendly, some people say it’s a bit pricey, in my opinion you get what you pay for, I’ve never tasted food this good.
An extra thank you for the bar man who made our night with the special cocktails, highly recommend the treasure chest.
Thank you , will be recommending to friends and family.
Great combination of food, atmosphere and service.
Fabulous food and generous portions.
King prawns ( biggest I had ever had) are delicious, also recommend the garlic rice.
Staff are polite and attentive.
We sat in the area as you come through door, we didn’t mind but 3 other groups asked to be moved to the main restaurant. ( more of an ambiance)
It is expense, £100 for 1 starter, 2 mains, 2 sides, 1 desert, only water to drink.
Delicious meal and excellent service.
Our table was quite near to the toilet and we could hear noisy hand dryers all evening!
It was a wonderful place to go and eat. The service was brilliant food came on time and it was hot and tasted fantastic. The people who served us also asked us that we where happy with the food with the starters and the main which was great.
Thank you for making our day special
Innovative and beautifully prepared Indian food in a buzzy ambience that isn't too noisy. Definitely one of our favourite spots.
One of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at, and I would recommend to everyone to go there for a good night out. Service was the best. Couldn’t ask for anything better.
Best Indian meal out we have had in a very long time. Service and food outstanding. Went there to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday. She loved it as did we all. Would definitely go again.
Loved it here at Ashas will defiantly be coming again, food & service was amazing!
