    Wonderful food, from mild to spicy, but just delicious. Service at the bar and at the table was excellent, and all staff attention and dress was exemplary.

    Good food but some of the dishes were a little sweet. It is strange that a good restaurant such as this can not made dishes less or more spicy. We have been a few times and would come ball. The only thing I really have a problem with at the restaurant is that it’s always cold.

    The food was ok, but for such a prominent and pricey establishment, surprisingly not much better than any other good curry house. Chicken tikka masala was so thick that it was quite hard to eat, the sauce almost mashed potato consistency, and hard to dip or soak into the rice. Rice was probably the best thing, and the breads again were just ok. Most annoying thing was adding a 1 pound charitable donation to the bill. I really resent this as I make charitable donations to causes I care about myself, and I don't wish to be maneuvered like this at the end of the meal for a cause that I have no knowledge of. It would feel churlish to spend the time and effort getting it removed, and risk looking bad in front of guests, so I imagine almost no one has ever done that. They provide a card which names the charitable trust, but again does not say exactly where the money goes, and the website is not much more help. It's only a pound, but the principle is a bad one.

    As always the food is outstanding. I am impressed that they are able to achieve such a high quality for a very fair price. Our experince of the service this time was the most impressive part of our experience. They had noted that it was our anniversary and from the greeter who mentioned it, to the complimentary desert, it was all part of making our evening just perfect.
