About
The appetizer was bland and over priced as are most dishes. The mains were very good but for the price?
Main problem was that the server who was very nice, but....when I got the bill it’s $132 for 2 people. Okay I understand it’s in a hotel on park ave. No problem, I give the credit card and when it comes back it, the bill is $151. An 18% tip added to charge without any explanation or anywhere in writing does it say tip included yet at the bottom they allow you to tip again. Had I not looked closely I would have doubled tipped. Honestly I would have tipped 20% but because no one told me or had it in writing I felt like I was scammed. I understand the mandatory %18 for tables over 6 or 8 but 2? Not cool!
Great food. Prompt service. Very attentive staff. Will definitely return!
The only thing I did not like was the music being piped into the dining space. Not sure what it’s called but I’ll call it new-wave, electronic music; was song after song of one repetitive rhythm, which got on my nerves pretty quickly. Maybe “hipsters” like it. No bueno for this 65-year-old. Food and service was very good though.
This is a typical fine-dine restaurant that looked like it was part of a hotel or a hotel's dining area. It lacks character...so it is difficult to categorize it or highlight anything. The noise level (or the lack of it) makes it good for business meals. The food tasted more French than Italian. If visiting I recommend the Burrata and Gigante.
Too cool for school waiter (who seemed to think he was some sort of superstar being forced to slum it) in a freezing environment with just ok food. Turned the lights on to make us leave. No atmosphere.
Server was attentive and fun.
The food was delicious. However, it took us over 30 minutes to get breakfast, when there were only 3 other tables occupied in the restaurant. They seemed confused and understaffed. Also, a party of 6 came down from the hotel, and 3 women were in bathrobes. That didn't seem to me to be "upscale" as the restaurant advertises and charges for. Very disappointed in our experience.
Food was great and the service was excellent. The staff checked in on us multiple times and the manager walked us out and held the door for us as we left. Best service experience I've yet had in any restaurant in any city.
What a fabulous place. Pizzas are wonderful and relatively light. Seafood is to die for. Will go back!!
Good, and not too busy. Food was fine but nothing special.
Please train your new servers properly before sending them out to do a job. Our server was unfamiliar with the menu, did not speak loud enough for us to hear her in a very quiet, low key time of day. She appeared nervous, and insecure. I felt bad for her. Not her fault as MGMT should train properly. A business lunch with an expensive tab should have received better service. Food was spectacular though. Delish! Bolognese to die for.
Kinda blah, nothing exciting, mediocre cooking and (oh yeah) expensive, and empty for lunch in a crowded neighborhood
The Italian Restaurant week food was good, although they brought the wrong pizza, not the one we ordered. The ambiance is not particularly inviting. Large and without character. will not go back.
Lovely restaurant and lovely waiting staff. Food was good however, slightly disappointing that the meatball appetiser arrived cold and the pasta dish was served with hard pasta. A shame as it was a celebratory birthday meal and having been before, we knew the standard of food!
Refused to honor Hilton Discount although they were listed as a Hilton Club restaurant.
Aweful service and only ok food.
Terrible service.
Nice location. Good menu. Good wine list. They had a DJ during dinner playing dance music. Totally ruined the meal and the atmosphere.
Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Not a cheap meal, but appropriate for how great of a place it was.
Always great food and service... Burrata a must have!!!
Great food! Fast service! Good for young professionals
The highlight was our waiter. He was incredibly attentive and helpful when deciding what our food options were. As the only vegan in the group, I was happy that there was an option for me other than side veggies. The only negative was the bar staff. While waiting for the table it was difficult to get their attention. One of the bartenders hardly smiled. Again, the dining experience with our wonderful waiter made up for that!
The food here is delicious. Awesome atmosphere. Courteous waiters and waitresses.
I went back to this restaurant because I loved it the first time. I ordered the short rib the first and second time. The first time it was amazing. The second time it was mostly fat the food was inedible and I ended up being really sick. Extremely disappointed with my second experience
Great as usual!
Everything was perfect. The only downside was there was NO ONE there on a Friday night at 8:30. This was my second time there and the last time was an awesome vibe. The place was packed, the food was good and this time there were maybe three other tables of people which was just bizarre. Especially since the food and location are good!
Very good food, calm and cozy ambiance
Food was very good , so was service. A bit loud for my taste, hard to carry a conversation. Felt a bit uncomfortable when my credit card was requested to hold reservation. Never had to do that before and this is not high end. But overall, good.
Good, plentiful food, well prepared. Very attentive staff, hovering around to assist. Wine prices are somewhat off the wall, otherwise everything else is appropriately priced.
The restaurant is beautiful! The food is great! Service was quick to be Valentine's Day
Great food, good service, nice ambiance, all you'd hope for in a very good restaurant.
Food was very good and service was good; however, music was a bit too loud - it felt more like I was in a bar than in a restaurant. I wouldn’t go there on a date. Good for a girls night out or to go with friends. I would go back there.
Visited during restaurant week. Fabulous food and service.
I’m vegan and although they didn’t have much on menu for me they were very accommodating. Wait service was great, constantly refilling coffee and made me a special breakfast of bagel avocado. Companion has great omelette.
Excellent food in a beautiful setting!
We asked for a wines by the glass list. The waiter dropped off the menus and then disappeared for 25 minutes.
Fantastic Good, very creative menu. Beautiful decor and terrific wine list. What more could you ask for? Try the eggplant ravioli.
Welcoming was pleasant. Service was good. Food was good. It’s not really my type of a Italian restaurant. Price is reasonable. The atmosphere was quiet for a Saturday night.
Lovely !
Great live music
Great food
Lovely staff
Beautiful restaurant
Going to chalk up a bad experience to New Year's Day and understaffed restaurant. We went for a Gilt City brunch, and were greeted warmly. Restaurant (in Royalton Hotel) is pretty. Mushroom flat bread/pizza was delicious, but restaurant was out of chicken panini sandwich (it was only 1 pm). Burgers and fries were cold and under-cooked when they arrived - sent one back to be warmed up, and it was nearly 1/2 hour before we got it back (so 2nd entree by then was inedibly cold). Fries reheated in the kitchen were still cold. Server was extremely nice, but helpless to a slow kitchen.
