The place was super slow on a Saturday night and the server was not very attentive. The venue is very nice, but it's more of a club than a lounge with the music super loud, so if you are expecting to have a conversation, this is not the place to go. I was hoping to get some food, but the kitchen was already closed. No idea at what time they do that, but it should be advised somewhere.

Hosted a small group of business customers ahead of an event nearby. It was the perfect setting with nice views, the ability to have a conversation and, of course, great cocktails. The appetizers were great as well.

Super elegant, fantastic space, yummy drinks and super sweet hostess and waitstaff. Was not expecting such elevated food, pleasantly surprised by nice bites menu lots of gluten-free, vegetarian options too. Loved the mini lobster -roll on tiny warm brioche.

Service was excellent, attentive but not obtrusive. The cheese and charcuterie board is a good choice for sharing, and the high windows provide an ever-changing light show for the comfortable and elegant setting. The Ascent Lounge offers a relaxing respite in a crowded and busy neighborhood.

My daughter and i had s great time. The wagu sliders and hummus were great. We cant say enough about the wait staff. They were attentive and all had a welcoming and great attitude, we will definitely be going back. Thanks!

My gf and i split the bill with 2 cards at the end , and planned on one of us paying the full tip amount only (full amount) - but waitress complained to me " why did YOU tip me , whats wrong " ??? And she wouldnt stop staring so i had to take out a $20 bill and give her for her to leave us alone. Found that so crazy. Especially because this is one of our most fave places and go there So Often! Now i m not so sure anymore...

Booked a table for 8.30pm on open table booking ref 63235 which I booked many weeks in advance as we were travelling from the uk. Had to confirm our booking the day before which I duly did.We arrived at the venue at 8.15pm to be greeted by two obnoxious door men smiling telling me that it was a private function due to an engagement.Whilst I appreciate the venue may have been booked out it would have been very courteous to tell me in advance that this was the case so as we could have made other arrangements.Not only that the doormen firstly refused to believe we had made the booking and more importantly could not care less absolute worst service I have experienced.I think the venue could not care less about its customers and really should teach doormen how to speak to the paying public and not think that they are better than the true customer. Service 0/10 what a place to ask me to confirm my booking not 24 hours earlier and would probably have charged me a no show fee absolutely disgusted

After making reservations for three for out of town clients, and being asked to confer those reservations twice—Ascent was closed for a private party. The person at the door actually shrugged. It was embarrassing.
