Asado Urban Grill at Renaissance Chicago O'Hare Suites
Bread appetizer was warm and addicting. Loved the cod fish and mahi mahi tacos. Lemon drop martini was delicious.
Was a great location to rendezvous for lunch before catching a flight at ORD
Was disappointed in the limited menu and food quality
Scheduled a welcome lunch for a new employee at Asado Urban Grill. It's a hotel restaurant, so prices are a bit high for what you get, but it's convenient, which is why it was chosen. We waited at least a full 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge us when we arrived. Finally someone yelled from across the room that we should sit anywhere - what?! I'd made a reservation so wanted to make sure to check in. Finally someone arrived but said we didn't have a reservation - which we clearly did. Not a great start. However, our server was delightful so she helped make up for the initial snafu. Food was good but not great and kind of lukewarm at best. Nice room, but not sure I'd return unless there were no other options in the area.
The Hostesses were extremely accommodating. We were not aware that the breakfast menu stopped at 11am. They served us breakfast anyways and the server was prompt and diligently with our order. They food was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
The food was so delicious and the waitresses were super friendly!!!
made a reservation and expected to be in a good table but we were seated at one of the first tables to the entry to the dining room - lots of traffic and noise. The hostess lacked warmth and personality - just wanted to get us seated and out of there. Waiter was good.
The hotel has done a nice job on renovations. The restaurant is also tastefully done. However the food, service and cleanliness needs improvement. Would not go back.
Fish tacos - were dry, over cooked and had zero flavor; turkey club was good. Staff allowed our food to sit for over 5 mins at the heat lamps- when there was only 3 other tables she was waiting on. Needs serious improvements.
I was very surprised at how good this restaurant was. I really only expected convenient hotel fare, but the food turned out to be very good. I had the skirt steak, and it was top notch. And the corkage fee was waived for my personal wine.
Calamari was excellent! Mahi-Mahi Tacos were great as well!
Made a reservation on Sunday late morning for that evening on Mother's Day because we had to eat somewhere near a school event for my son, but wanted nice food. When we arrived, the front desk told us the restaurant was closed and they sent waitstaff home because it was slow. I explained that we had a reservation and nobody called us. They served us in the lobby bar from the room service menu. Food was expensive, but not good enough to justify the price. A very friendly bartender was the only positive in this visit. We will not go back.
We went to this restaurant because we were staying at the hotel and it was pouring rain outside. The wait staff were very welcoming and took our orders. After we ate it was a long time to get the bill. There was a large party and one waitress, so it was understaffed. The food was ok, nothing great but nothing bad either.
We stayed at the hotel and made reservations for dinner at the hotel for our 43rd anniversary. Because it was Easter the restaurant was actually closed! We had to scramble to find a decent place to eat. Very disappointed.
Food was over seasoned and a little overpriced, but it was convenient.
Food and Service was great but price is a little high.
The service from our waiter, Moses, and hostess was exceptional. Majority of our group decided to have the buffet. The French toast was amazing. Moses was very accommodating. We recommend this restaurant to others.
The waitstaff was very nice and accommodating.
The lighting was extremely bright. Really has no ambiance whatsoever.
Quick service and really good food. I only wish that my tacos came with veggies on the side instead of more carbs. For lunch, 3 tacos and a giant side of rice is a bit much but two tacos and a ton of veggies would have been great!
We had a nice server, but we waited far to long for every single thing. The dinners were room temperature and small portions. Definitely overpriced. Appeared to be very short-staffed. The bar was fun and great service.
