Arya Steakhouse - Redwood City
Book your next event with us
Great service, great food! We would definitely go back. The cook on the steak was perfect
Horrible food. Unless you order the steak you will be very very disappointed
Arya is a comfortable, quiet restaurant to have a leisurely lunch to catch up with friends. The Persian stews are
delicious and the kabob plates are generous. We appreciated the dessert on the house for 2 birthdays!😀
Good quality food and tasty. Would’ve preferred a longer lunch buffet period but they explained to us it’s for the quality. Surprise to see little traffic, hope they can sustain.
The service and food were great! This location seems to better than the one in Cupertino. I have frequented both. This location will be the one I come to from now on.
If your looking for an incredible dinning experience Aria is your place. The ambiance is very romantic, or it can be family friendly. The steaks, and side dishes are cooked to perfection! It is a perfect symphony in your mouth. The desserts are small in portion size, but huge in taste, and presentation. You truly get a delicious masterpiece! Every dessert has been sweet, decedent, and oh so delicious! The perfect combination. Our waiter, and the manager treat us like long lost friends. The service has always been excellent as well. We highly recommend this hidden Redwood City treasure! Bon appetite!
Expensive and overpriced
Made a reservation for 10pm but when we arrived the restaurant was closed. Not cool!
Cam to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my wife. Tomahawk steak was awesome. Would get it again.
It was just OK. I’m not sure I would go back.
We had outstanding service and all of our meals were cooked to perfection. A memorable part of the meal, was the calamari and garlic mashed potatoes. Ohhh, as well as the crab cake. Yum.
The steaks were fantastic.
Unfortunately, no room for desert for us. Maybe next time.
Very good meal
In general, this is a very good restaurant for the service and ambience. But it is a little overpriced for the quality of the food. The pita and bread that's provided on the house is very good along with the butter and green dip. I look forward to trying this place again sometime when I have enough money to spend on a meal.
rya is one of my favorite restaurants. I have recommended it many times. It delightfully marries the flavors of Persia and America. The service is warm and friendly, The ambiance is more than pleasant. The noise level allows conversation but still maintains a feeling of energy.
This was a real find for us to meet up with friends for lunch. Our waiter, Steve, was professional and hospitable. The Vege Mezze Platter Steve recommended was just the right amount and delicious for the six of us to start. We each ordered something different and we all truly enjoyed our chosen entree. The mushroom soup was superb with visible mushrooms, creamy yet not overly rich. Definitely will come back if we are in the area again.
Just married. Moved to Redwood. The staff was so kind and welcoming. Sunday nights in any town are rough for the industry, but these guys performed at top notch. The steaks are awesome and always order medium rare...
What Game of Thrones fan would pass up having dinner at Arya Stark-House, so when we looked for a place for a group dinner, this restaurant was a no-brainer. Our group of diners were fairly non-committal with regard to who would actually be joining so I made a reservation for 8. Luckily it wasn't very busy and they are able to let us wait for nearly an hour before the 5 who showed ordered our main entrees. The hostess and our server Steve provided excellent service. My entree, the Dry Aged Rib-Eye was so delicious, but for the price, it was a well spent splurge for me. The faloodeh dessert was amazing as well, almost good as at my other favorite Persian restaurant Chelokababi. The dining room is large and able to accommodate large groups easily so it's definitely a place to keep in mind for those occasions.
Everything we ordered was delicious. Especially the ones that the waiter recommended. Overall we had the best experience in a steakhouse ever. I highly recommend Arya my new favorite steakhouse.
First timers and must say that their service was wonderful! Our server and all the other workers were excellent, Food was delish and desserts were too. Great place for special occasions. Would definitely return and recommend to my friends.
Service food and value were excellent. Our server made us feel as if we were the only ones there. And they were able to accommodate a last minute party of four on one of their busiest nights.
Food has been very good our last time there, but one person said their chicken was terrible and tough, plus they said they could not do their best dessert, due to a new chef.
The service was wonderful. The waitress gave us several recommendations. My guest had the filet mignon kabobs and said the steak and rice were amazing. I had a 6 oz filet mignon with a twice baked potato and it was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. Highly recommend! Our wine choices were great.
Excellent food and service, as always. Jennifer and Steve are simply amazing!
Very attentive staff and very good food. Some steaks a bit pricey but mostly fairly priced. seating could be a little bit better but given the downtown location understandable. Overall a good bet.
The steak was so soft we were able to cut with a butter knife! Flavor was on point. Service was on point. My husband can't stop talking about how good the steak was. We've already booked another dinner next month for Father's Day!
Great change of pace steakhouse. The Persian influence is delicious and different. Wine, Appetizers and entrees were all very good. Highly recommend.
Delicious food, nice place, excellent service. I will definitely be back.
We had such a lovely evening and we closed them out early - got asked to leave by 9:30PM on a Thursday night.. oh well.. food was great.. and service was good -- just was surprised that they closed so early.
Messed up on order. Didn’t bring out the right food. Did not cook the steak at the proper temperature. They made no attempt to make the experience better other than a free desert.
We have been to Arya Steakhouse four times, and each time the food quality, flavor and presentation is always excellent.
The service has always been friendly and professional. There was one small issue during our meal and a second server noticed it and took care of the issue right away. Great teamwork like that goes a long way and will stick in my mind.
Sadly, I am not sure I would recommend. Our server was lovely; very nice man who made us feel welcome and was very helpful. He was very attentive to the fact it was my father's birthday. Unfortunately, the food took WAY too long to come out for every course. And the restaurant wasn't even busy. Desert took over 20 minutes and my Mom's cappuccino took over 25! The chef did bring me an additional bone-in NY after mine was not cooked quite right which was excellent and appreciated customer service. The food was fine to good but not great and for a $460 dinner, it should have been outstanding. My molten chocolate cake was tasty but overcooked and not at all molten. The bread pudding was lacking. The cuts of meat were not flavorful. Sadly, with other options, I would not go back to Arya. It's too bad as the servers were very nice and accommodating.
Very disappointed with the main dish - I ordered the Braised Lamb Shank, Dill weed, Lima Beans, Basmati rice . I did not realized when I got the food that in fact I should have also gotten the lima beans too - plain basmati rice with the lamb shanks - the did not have any flavor - the lamb did not have any flavor - was dry a bla. Not a place I would recommend for the money.
Food was good the twice baked potato was not to good but the steak made up for it.
Wonderful service and ambiance, but the steaks we ordered were gray :( We both ordered flank steaks and there was no sear on it whatsoever. It was a little tough even though we ordered the steaks medium and medium rare. Our waitress was amazing and super attentive, not her fault at all that the steaks were so bad.
At some point they had to open the front door to let the kitchen smoke out because...it was in the air around the tables!
The food is always good at Arya Steakhouse. Been a few times and definitely going back. The service is good and the people are very helpful and nice.
You can not go wrong by going to Arya - top quality food OUTSTANDING service and great location. I can say a ton more but .. why bother, it's awesome and you should go.
Been walking by this steak house for years. Always wondering why it was empty. We decided to give it a try. The steaks were just ok, but over priced for the quality. Don't think we will be going back. Our server was very nice and attentive.
it was okay, not great. ordered the aged rib eye med-rare. i expected a nicer sear on the outside and to be a bit tastier. not compelled to come back if i wanted to have steak again in the area.
Steaks are not Prime, cheaper “USDA Choice” grade. They were out of all 5 desserts despite the fact the place was half empty. The waitress felt she needed to tell us about herself - she would have done better to focus on pouring the wine she splashed into our glasses. The oysters were awful - practically nothing to them.
