Nice Persian restaurant. Belly dancer was ok, but band was outstanding. Nice atmosphere, good service. Food could be tastier, but not bad.
Great lunch buffet, if you like Persian cuisine.
Nice quiet place for business discussions or just to relax during lunch.
We dine at Arya often. Food is excellent here as we love the option of being able to eat both vegetarian and meat dishes.
We really enjoy starting with the vege meze platter along with the cucumber/mint yoghurt.
We had the pleasure of meeting their newest GM Cassandra at Cupertino site. She stopped by as we had a slight mixup of my dish. She was attentive, friendly, personable and professional.
We got stuck with a Persian New Years bill for buffet and entertainment. $600 bill for buffet for 4 adults and 3’kids with 1 cocktail and 1 bottle of wine. It was a rip off!! . Did not call and let me know it was only buffet style until 1 day before reservation. Will try another Persian restaurant next time.
Good experience.
I would say the food was ok, not great.
Average dining.
I came here for Valentine's Day and was very glad that I did. The appetizers were great the steak was perfect and the service was fast. I also appreciated the live jazz music playing in the background.
Food is pretty good, very good starters, large and tasty main dishes and friendly staff
This is the best Persian restaurant I came across in California. Very highly recommended for special occasions.
Solid Persian food. Large dining rooms that are good for group. All the normal Persian dishes are on this menu.
Band too noisy they need to fix that else great food, service, ambience, music.
We never got to eat. Arrived for our reservation on time and sat at front entrance for 15 minutes. One waitress said someone would be by shortly and that was it. No one greeted us or sat us. So we left.
Great food & good service. The kabobs were delicious and prepared just right. I’ll definitely return. Great for a date.
Persian food here is the main cusine but almost anyone can find something here to their liking with a very diverse menu. Weekends evenings have music and belly dancers which make this restaurant a standout.
Very welcoming from the moment we walked in. Service was right on cue. Our server Arian was awesome. It's a must go, we will be going back soon.
First time here; greeted at the door by young lady...very pleasant, smiling, welcoming. Calamari appetizer came recommended...very light; must order again. Yogurt with mint/diced cucumbers accompanied with bread...very good. Had salmon for my lady; seafood platter for me; both very tasty and sizeable portion. Also had a pre-dinner cocktail. Service was fast; hostess was pleasant/friendly. She suggested a few options which were appreciated...soup for example...very good. Will go back and see about dining during evening entertainment. Positive visit and a keeper. Yes, will bring friends here.
I love Arya. The inside is classy, and my Japanese friend loved the exotic belly-dancing night! I always try to bring my friends here to show them middle-eastern culture.
We love to dine at ARYA. The food and service are great!
We went there for early evening dinner with my two young boys and my husband. As soon as we sat down we ordered for the kids right away. They have a kids menu but essentially it’s just chicken with rice or beef with rice and then a pasta spaghetti dish. So we ended up ordering one chicken and one beef with rice dish. Then we ordered for salads appetizers in the main course. However what ended up happening is they forgot the kids dish and they were super hungry so they ended up eating our food and their plates came out after they had already finished. Waitress said they forgot to make the food!!’
Overall food tasted good but definitely not worth over $20 per dish. They have different rice dishes like dill rice with lentils and rice with cranberries and plain yellow rice which all were good. The cranberry rice was a a bit too tart and sweet for me personally.
They supposedly have belly dancers and live band after 8:30pm. I’m not sure if I would come back but I think for take out would be fine.
We love to dine at ARYA because food and service are excellent as well as the ambiance. It is a friendly place.
Horrible experience.
We have been to their Redwood City location multiple times and have enjoyed the experience every time. This was our first visit to the Cupertino location and possibly the last.
- we were one of two families at the restaurant and it was difficult to get the wait staff's attention. The entire staff seemed busy focusing on a wedding reception.
- bread was right out of the refrigerator. Our appetizer arrived with the main order and the bread arrived shortly thereafter.
- we complained about the bread to the waiter who dismissed our comments and attributed it to the incompetent kitchen crew.
- the manager overheard our complaint and stopped by to inquire. At that point the waiter and someone from the kitchen both started defending their respective positions.
Overall, the experience was less than satisfactory. We'll probably not return to this location.

Food was delicious. Music was decent. Waiter, not that great. He was cold and off-putting. Would have appreciated some enthusiasm from the waiter.
We went for my birthday dinner and we're running late, we called the restaurant and they were more than accommodating! Sat down order some appetizers, our waitress recommended a few dishes which we ordered and they were amazing! "BEST LAMB CHOPS" I have ever ate.... the ONLY thing that I give a thumbs down too is they ran out of creme brûlée and didn't offer to comp a dessert. Other than that I will be back and would recommend to anyone looking for good Persian food !
It was a great night out for all 12 yrs old to 80. We wanted something different and to be entertained. Nice wine, belly dancing and a pleasant waiter. Not the place for a quiet date on a Friday night, there was a wedding rehearsal dinner and large groups. It was lively and fun.
Front desk and hostess need more training, take care of your customers specially regular ones
Missed the nice old hostess Sarah.
Excellent Iranian cuisine complete with a decent vegetarian menu. Very attentive service with clear knowledge of the menu - felt more like the staff were family members rather than hired help. Food is extremely tasty and moderately priced. Restaurant felt a little empty at 7PM on a Friday, but we discovered that by 9PM, the entire restaurant had filled with larger parties enjoying a late dinner along with belly dancing entertainment. All six of us loved the experience and plan to return.
I enjoyed the buffet! I would have gone back for seconds but I got so full after my first plate.
We came with a large party to celebrate Father's day and was seated indoors. We thought it was odd we were the only ones there, then realized most people were seated in the patio, which was brighter and nicer. Our server was mediocre and wasn't very helpful in explaining the dishes. Food was disappointing, I've had better Meditteranean food. Meat and fish were dry, and the curry sauce dish I ordered wasn't what we expected and tasted bad. The server had made a bad recommendation on this. Unfortunately, will not be coming back.
Food was good - slightly on the bland side as compared to some of the other persian restaurants. However, the lady that served us made the occasion special. Excellent service, good ambience, clean and airy. Highly recommend .
As always, Arya didn't disappoint. We live this place.
Excellent food and great entertainment on Saturday with Belly Dancer and a band. Very nice to see people out enjoying themselves dancing. Parking can be tight with the crowd.
This was my first time here. The Buffet was great. Gave us enough choices and the food was excellent.
Nice quite clean
Always a pleasure dining at Arya! The Owner and staffs are very welcoming... the food, ambiance and entertainment is a nice place to hang out . Will highly recommend to my colleague. :-)
My mom's favorite restaurant and her go to for Mediterranean food! The price is good for the dining service we got!
Went to Arya's for Mother's Day brunch and the dining experience was average. It was a buffet brunch and drinks (champagne, coffee/tea, juice) were included which is nice. Food selection was average and there was no carving station for meats. The beef roast and leg of lamb were placed out on cutting boards and pre- sliced. Meats were cold which is OK if you want cold cuts. Chicken kebabs tasted dry and the seafood (small peeled shrimp and mussels) was drowning in cold water (actually, melted ice). Had to fish the mussels out of the water. Service was good and drinks got replenished frequently.
Really good food - we ordered almost all types of kebabs and all dishes are flavorful. loved lamb shanks, chicken Kabab's the most! There was live music and all the ladies danced!!
Went to Arya Cupertino with a few colleagues and business partners for dinner. The food and service was excellent. The Meze platter and the Sambosa were great. Great for an evening with friends and conversations over drinks/coffee. Would most certainly recommend.
We did not like the food. Chicken was overcooked and rest of the items we ordered were just OK
