Arturo’s Ristorante Ratings and Reviews
We have lived in metro west for over a decade and Arturos is our go to place. Bar area and bartenders are great, table area is a bit dated but the service is top notch, we have never been rushed even on busiest nights. Food is always good, by far the best in the area. The specials are always my choice. We look forward to our next visit and also what the expansion/renovation will look like.
Excellent service, awesome desserts. We all got the specials since it was Valentines day. All around a great experience. Wait staff was great. The filet was topped with sauce that contained crab meat and I was not a fan of the sauce but the filet was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. Wife got the lobster risotto that had 2 large tails of meat!!
Amazing meal at Arturo's for Valentine's Day, per usual! The service is always top notch-super knowledgable, attentive and professional. We started with a delicious cup of the soup du jour-a silky cauliflower and cheddar bisque, and the bruschetta which comes with a smear of the house made ricotta in between the light and fluffy focaccia and vibrant chopped tomatoes. For entrees we enjoyed two specials-the lobster risotto which included easily a full lobster's worth of meat, as well as the Filet Oscar which was fork tender and delicious. We are NEVER disappointed at Arturo's.
This was our third visit, and while it was not quite up to our previous experiences, it is still one of our favorites. The crab cakes are excellent, as was the nightly halibut special. The meatballs very good but lacked a little zip, as did the lobster risotto special. Desserts are fabulous. And our server, Tim, was superb.
Arturo's always does a fine job. Always some great specials for the night even if we may opt for some menu staples as we did this week.
Drinks are good size and fairly priced though couldn't understand why a half bottle of wine was more than double two glasses of the same thing.
We'll be back, just wish it was closer to home.
We recently had the pleasure of going to Arturo's for a friends get together - dinner and were very pleasantly surprised. When we arrived, we enjoyed a very nice martini in the bar area prior to sitting. The drinks are very generous and well prepared. The bar area is buzzing with activity and fun to be around.
Once seated, we were greeted by a very skilled server. She told us about the specials in great detail and promptly took our drink order while recommending some appetizers. We ended up ordering a pizza and some calamari, both were awesome.
Entree's were also amazing. Arturo's has the regular Italian fare, piccata, parmesan, etc but they also have some very interesting and complex choices that are expertly prepared and really delicious. Everything was very nicely presented and very much enjoyed.
All in all a very nice experience. I would recommend Arturo's for sure!
I've been to Arturo's a number of times and find that the specials are usually innovative and very good. I don't usually order off the menu. Wine selections good, not overpriced. I especially like the ambience - it's not too loud and we can always have a conversation, which we can't do in a lot of restaurants in the area.
Consistency delicious food. Servers are good but kitchen can be a little slow. Owner is not friendly - not welcoming when you arrive. Also not a great host - we had reservations and were told our two too would be a few minutes - no big deal. But a walk-in two top was then seated immediately. Horrible customer service.
Friday night dining. The restaurant was busy; we had reservations and were seated immediately by the gracious proprietor. Although all the tables around us were filled we had the comfortable feeling of being in our own private corner; and the voices around us seemed like a familiar, unobtrusive background hum. John S. our outstanding waiter described and explained the specials with care and modesty. We chose the bass and the risotto preceded by cups of the excellent, savory, satisfying fish stew. Never rushed. Dishes brought to the table quickly, efficiently. Truly another delightful dining experience at arguably the best restaurant in the region.
We were seated in the back room. There was a party at the back of room. Our table was in the center of the room. Very awkward. I asked the server if perhaps we could be seated at a different table. She went and got manger, he informed us there were no another tables. But , clearly there were plenty. And some were still vacant when we left. We constantly had servers up and down the aisle. There should not have been so many tables where a party was taking place.
You were constantly getting bumped.
