   Art & Central is another stand out restaurant located in the up and coming Rosemary District of Sarasota. The restaurant is very attractive, spotless clean, and has a calm, relaxing vibe. There was soft live music in the background, yet the noise level was very low and we were able to have a great conversation at the table without talking over other noise. Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I ate out and could say that. The food was excellent, there was a wide variety of selections and a wide variety of prices, so there was something for everyone. One in our party asked for dairy free and was easily accommodated, and the service was impeccable — shout out to Martin! One food item that stood out was a green goddess salad dressing served with poached jumbo shrimp that was to die for! I tried to mimic the GG salad dressing at home today and hope it’s as tasty as what we were served last night. Oh, and there was live outdoor entertainment in the park across the street and there’s a very nice safe atmosphere to the area. They offer valet parking, but we had no trouble finding street parking less than a block from the restaurant. Art & Central is a little piece of heaven right in the heart of Sarasota!

   This is a very nice addition to the Sarasota food scene. Poseidon’s Adventure salad is outstanding, as is the duck entree. My grilled trout was over-cooked, but there are plenty of other interesting entree options to choose from. The service (Lilly) is outstanding and the live music is a nice treat. We will definitely come back.

   Food (duck) was not prepared to order and messed up twice. I ordered the swordfish sandwich and the bun was burnt.

   We chose to sit outside, they have nice outdoor seating area. We ordered 2 apps, the tots with brisket and the sticky ribs. Both were delicious. The tots are very filling even for 2 people, I wanted to lick the bowl they are so good! Service from Jim was excellent, he was always at our table at the right time. We will be back

   Lovely lunch, great service and pleasant surroundings. Will definitely return. Had a shrimp salad and it was delicious. Great place for a light lunch in beautiful setting.

   Great atmosphere. We were celebrating my son's college graduation. The live music was great, but not overbearing, as we could still have a conversation and not be screaming at each other. The food was delicious! Everyone enjoyed the drinks, appetizers, and entrees that were ordered. I will come back again!

    True neighborhood gem. Great varied menu and everything we have had to date is very flavorful and delicious. Good spot for lunch also.
