My husband , daughter and I went to Artistry on the Green for Mother’s Day brunch. I’d heard good things about this restaurant but we were very disappointed in the brunch. The cold buffet had a number of uninspired salads. Considering the $65 pp price of the buffet I think they could have done better. They did have oysters, mussels and charcuterie which were fine. The pecan rolls were stale . The desserts were limited in selection and just mediocre. There was a choice of 5 or 6 got entrees among them bacon and eggs, cheeseburger and prime rib. Rather an unusual assortment of choices. I had the prime rib, I was trying to get my money’s worth. That was a disappointment too. There were 2 rather thin slices of meat, 1 was medium rare as ordered the other piece was well done. I mentioned this to the waitress and she replaced it with the ordered medium rare. Beverages were a la carte. My daughter and I had 1 glass of wine each, my husband had ice tea. We all had coffee. The bill with tax and tip came to $300.it wasn’t worth it !
The food was great, but our service was poor for the cost of the meal. Our server barely came to the table, and the restaurant was not prepared for our arrival. We were seated well past our reservation time.
This year our mother’s day experience was not as stellar as last year. We were seated in an overflow lounge, on squishy low sofas at a very long table. The buffet, a new twist, was in the main dining room, so we didn’t really utilize it fully. The food was very good, but last year it was outstanding. We may have been setting ourselves up for disappointment though, because last year everything was above and beyond.
Delicious healthy entrees and a very nice ambiance. Great location for a business meeting as there is space between tables so you can have a discussion without being heard.
Dear MBADA, Thank you for recommending Artistry on the Green and your five-star review. We’re pleased that you enjoy your experience with us. We will save you a seat for your next business meeting here. Warm regards, Christine Smith, General Manager
I’ve been to Artistry on the Green a number of times; for breakfast and lunch during the week. Those visits were positive for the food, service and ambiance. However, our experience yesterday was quite the opposite. The duck hash that I ordered was very dry and very over cooked. The service was extremely slow. It was a full 10 minutes or so before we were offered any beverage. There were a number of large parties that were quite loud and made conversation nearly impossible.
While I would recommend Artistry for breakfast and lunch during the week, I would not recommend them for Sunday brunch.
Thank you for being a loyal and repeat guest for breakfast and lunch. We appreciate your business. We apologize for the experience you had during Sunday brunch, which is usually a very popular time for the restaurant. We will share your comments with our team, in an effort to improve in the future. In the meantime, we look forward to saving you a seat for when you return. Warm regards, Christine Smith, General Manager
The range of food is not as wide as I would like, but what they do have is very good, love going here.

Great staff. Food was tasty but tiny portions. And too salty. The soup just covered their bottom of the bowl. Entrees were tiny. You leave hungry. Not worth the high price. The dining room is large and open, just wooden tables with nothing to soften the sound. No tablecloths. No background music. The primary advantage is that it is near Lexington Center. There are other far better restaurants in the area. We much prefer Lexx.
Dear EllieLu, We are sorry to learn of your experience. We value your opinion, and will share your comments with our team as we take steps to improve. We hope to regain your trust if you decide to return. Warm regards, Christine Smith, General Manager
Just outstanding food and presentation

Recently very disappointed with service and ambiance.
Tablecloths are gone,no longer elegant.
Online menu offered swordfish but was removed from in house menu.
Service extremely slow.
Something has radically changed and not for the better.
Dear Mary, We are saddened to learn of your disappointment. We will share your comments and hope to regain your trust in the future. Warm regards, Christine Smith, General Manager
Please put the salmon back on the menu. I tried other options but I didn’t like them.
It was a poor decision to remove the salmon dish from the menu.

It's a lovely room and we have previously booked for special occasions. Unfortunately the service was not its usual standard. The room was not filled but our server was either too tired or distracted or ready to call it a day and left us to fend for ourselves. The food, when it arrived, was delicious but missing items that we had to flag down. Hope this is a one-off experience

The food is very good, but we waited close to 45 minutes for it after we ordered. The staff seemed stressed but was very polite.

A very gracious welcome by the hostess, a cheerful greeting by the waitress, and as usual, excellent meals: duck confit, quiche, and risotto. Then...the waitress disappeared. We could see her cleaning up and setting up tables for dinner when we did see her. Water glasses not refilled until I rudely waved the glass. Unusual at Artistry. Coffee and an ice cream took a long time to appear. The gracious hostess was alerted, she assured us it was being worked on. The waitress appeared after that. We enjoyed our time, but it wasn’t the usual service one receives there.

Lovely place, lovely food, lovely service but the lobster salad did not fill me up and was $22. I am not a big eater but my stomach was growling a few hours later.
Dear Denise, Thank you for your review. We will share your comments about the lobster salad with our culinary team, and we will look forward to the pleasure of serving you again. Warm regards, Christine Smith, General Manager
I have always loved this place, but something has changed. The food is still delicious but the portions are tiny. LIke Barbie dolls are eating. I am not kidding!

Lovely lunch celebration for a 95th Birthday, the Restaurant made a special cake which I had ordered up front via email and everyone involved were extremely helpful.
The food and the cake were excellent.
We all enjoyed our lunch.
Dear Lorraine, We’re delighted that you enjoyed your experience. Thank you for selecting Artistry for your very special occasion. Warm regards, Christine Smith, General Manager
This is a wonderful choice for special occasion dining. You will be pampered but not in an intrusive way, and the food and presentation are wonderful. Be advised that portions are modest and prices are a bit steep.
Food was disappointing as compared to previous visits. The duck was too salty and hard to chew. The risotto was only okay. The daily special vegetarian quiche was nothing special either. Please bring back some of the other lunch menu items: crab cake sandwich etc. thanks

This was a very nice restaurant and I plan to go back again, I did feel though a couple dishes just tried to be fancy for the sake of fancy and then were only okay rather than being done in a more straight forward way and seeming great. For example, my meringue/fruit dessert looked like a stereotype of a posh restaurant serving you two bites of food in elaborate display. It was a nice sized dessert but the presentation was over the top. In hind site I wished I had just gotten a simple dish of ice-cream. The wait staff were fantastic.
Food ok but limited gluten free options especially as no omelette offered as part of brunch. Service slow and table was poorly prepared with no condiments at all which resulted in a 10 minute wait for butter - not as good as past visits
This has become a favorite for us for special dinners. Excellent service Saturday. Food is always good. Duck liver pate appetizer was exceptional last saturday
Thank you for taking the time to review your recent dinner at Artistry on the Green. We are sharing your feedback with our culinary team, and we hope to see you soon!
My swordfish was delicious. My date's chicken was not exactly exciting, but fine. He doesn't like seafood and the idea of spending $48 on the only (red) meat entree seemed excessive, so he went with the chicken. It was all tasty, but nothing particularly special. Our waitperson (who has served us before, we've been here 6-7 times) was great. So knowledgeable and friendly without being intrusive. The rolls they serve are delicious and worth the carbs. Our dessert -- espresso gelato -- was superb but TINY for $7.

Solid but uninspired dining experience. The ambience and overall experience in this restaurant is above average, but the kitchen simply lacks creative inspiration. It seems like the kitchen is simply "going through the motions" versus actually enjoying the experience of placing something exciting in front of their clientele. The food is certainly of high quality, just lacking that culinary flare that the diner hopes for when spending this kind of money for a meal.
Everything was absolutely fantastic. LOVED the ambiance!!
A lovely lunch spot. Wait staff was attentive but our meals were a bit slow in arriving. The dining room can get very loud -- too many hard surfaces where sound can just bounce around.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your recent lunch at Artistry on the Green. Management is reviewing your concerns about the service you received. We hope you return soon. Thanks again for providing thoughtful feedback.
Lovely setting with fine dining. Perfect selection of local beers covering a range of craft breweries and different beer styles. Very nice food options for both meat eaters and vegetarians

I have been here many times for breakfast. This time I was with a dear old friend and trying to catch up. Our server was lovely and allowed us all the time we needed. We then lingered at a table on the porch. I cannot recommend this venue enough.

It took very long for the food to come. We waited over an hour. Also I didn’t think the pastry basket was a good value. There was only one croissant and one roll for $9!
Very nice place. Great food and service.
This was our first time eating at Artistry on the Green, and we can't wait to return. Everything was fabulous... food, waiter, ambiance. It was expensive, so this is certainly not for everyday, but we all agreed it was worth the price. Not only was the food delicious, the chef was able to accommodate the many special dietary requests we had. The waiter was incredibly knowledgeable about the food and the venue, was attentive without being intrusive, and was the perfect blend of personable and respectful. We haven't had a better meal or better service in a long time.

My sister was visiting from Houston and we were celebrating her 50th birthday. Ruthnie took care of us like family, as always. She worked with the wonderful staff at Artistry to make my sis's birthday a day she won't soon forget. From the special, almost to pretty to consume, charcuterie to the mouth watering brunch and finally the beautifully plated birthday cake. The chef was so talented and passionate about what he does that we were in awe. Such attentiveness and warm service that my family kept saying how genuine and heartfelt their efforts were. The quality of the food and the gracious service from our server were appreciated by all. They even gave my sister a card that they all signed! Don't hesitate to book a table here for your next special occasion, or turn an ordinary day into one by coming here! They never disappoint, but they really wowed us this time. Thank you, Ruthnie and all of you rock stars at Artistry on the Green!
Great for lunch dates, and office getaways. Quiet enough to have decent conversations.
The food and service was excellent! We love the décor and the historic Lexington feel. It is expensive but worth it.
Fantastic! Thank you!
Took a girlfriend for a birthday celebration. Pleasant surprise of a hidden gem. Food exquisitely presented, very good. We weren’t hurried at all and enjoyed chatting comfortably for several hours. Slightly pricey, but a wonderful lunch option for a special occasion.
Very good overall. Parking was full. Food was very tasty. Felt my portion was small but overall a great experience.
