Great service and awesome food , enjoyed the view,
Full off laughter
The new menu items are terrific!
Have had the chicken and scallop entrees and both were delicious!
Looking forward to the next visit!
Very slow service
Always a wonderful experience! We love making Artista a part of our theater experience.
Good for Pre or Post Theatre (attached to Hobby Center.
Food is good, reasonable and staff is aware of time shows start
Food and service were great! I went before going to a musical and the menu was perfect!
We had a very nice pre-theater lunch. We were impressed that we were not rushed - we expected they might want to turn the table but that didn’t happen. Very lovely lunch before a great play at Hobby Center.
Our waitress was attentive and helpful with menu options. The salmon on salads was delicious. We were served well and gently even though everybody in the restaurant needed to be out at the same time for a show.
Artista is always just average for the price. Our service this time was pretty awful. The only reason we go there is it's convenience to the theatre before a show. I don't think I'd go there otherwise.
Overall we had a great dining experience; even though 2 out the 3 bottles of wine we selected were not available.
The food and service were outstanding. We were there before a show and it was so convenient.
Good menu, food was well presented, staff friendly and professional, ambience was very good for a business meeting.
Not sure if they are under new management... i love good wine, and most days do not mind paying for great wine, however, a house wine should not be $16.95 a glass!!!!!
After making a reservation 2 months in advance, we were seated in the upstairs area that looked like an afterthought. Better suited for a Chinese Buffett, not a 200 dollar dinner for two. I requested we be seated downstairs, and the manager told us everything downstairs is "reserved for big donors of the hobby center" and there was nothing he could do. This definitely made us feel second class and unappreciated. Never going back.
Great food, outstanding service, very convenient lunch before a matinee at the Hobby Center.
Our reservation was for lunch. We were unaware that Artista was under new ownership which did not include a prix fixe or lunch menu, only a pricey dinner menu. Our meal was well prepared and presented but not worth the excessive price. Our server was pleasant but poorly trained, we waited at various times for simple things like placing our orders, bringing a requested beverage straw and additional napkin and after 90 minutes we had to ask for the check in order to rush to our theater seats. It's unlikely that we will return.
Highly recommended! The unique location of the restaurant offers a view of downtown. The service was very dependable and prompt, and the food was delicious!
One of my favorite restaurants. Go to Artistas before all Broadway and Tuts shows
