The owners of Artisans Restaurant have created a place unlike any other. The vast working kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant, with views from every seat in the building. The culinary team works like an orchestra, where their composer is the owner/executive chef and they work in unison to create art for their audience consistently while paying attention to every detail.

Excellent food and great service ! For sure I will be there again!
Great food, great service, and had a great time watching the open kitchen.
Serving team is absolutely welcoming and cordial Food is amazing and the ambiance is perfect for a romantic couple.
Very good restaurant for a romantic night. Price is high, but worthy.
Great food, great service, Amazing ambience.
The entire experience was amazing and so special.
Great service , great food, loved the music and safe covid-19 environment
Celebrated my wife and I 's 7th wedding anniversary and it was definitely a very memorable experience. From the attention we were given as soon as we walked in, through the whole dining experience, until we left, the service was excellent. We went for the 7 course meal with wine pairings and everything was perfect. They even accommodated my request to have roses ready for my wife. Definitely will be an annual thing for us moving forward.
This restaurant is a regular spot for us. We love the food, the staff and of course Chef Jacques. The lunch menu is incredible value. Check it out.
Good for the one-time experience. Wasn't blown away by the food.
My wife and I took our daughter out for her 30th birthday with her husband. All the food was great from lobster bisque to foie gras to the caviar to the steak au poivre to the redfish to the poached pear. Paired with the best Chateauneuf-du-Pape and a twenty-year tawny port. Great evening! Thank you Artisan's!
The food is always fresh, consistent and expresses unique composition by a very talented chef. He combines flavors and textures that please the taste buds, palate and visually appetizing. The staff is very experienced and works hard to make your experience fun and professional. We always like to support locally owned and operated local restaurants.
Give it a try .....You will come back.
Great as always. Tables were well space d and the service was awesome. Food is spectacular!
Great food and wine paring, we will be back
The service and food were off the charts fabulous!
We attended the September Wine Adventure. The food was fantastic as was the wines. Service was impeccable observing all the COVID safety practices. We're going back for the October Italian Wine Dinner on the 15th.
Gregory and staff made our 32nd anniversary a memorable experience! Can't remember when we had better service.
Thank you Gregory, and the whole staff.
Food was excellent, and we drove from Cypress. We will be back!
In past we had wonderful meal here. This time was a disappointment. We had a scotch old-fashion and a gin and tonic for cocktails and both were strange. The old fashion was very sweet and the gin must have had some unusual tonic (and not much gin). Escargot appetizer was OK, but not great with a lot of salt. The wine we selected was very good and reasonably priced.
My lamb was ordered medium rare to the rare side and it came well done. For desert the creme brûlée was delicious---three flavors in separate ramekins.
Our server was great, his help and pace was very good. The problem this time was with the bar and the kitchen. Not sure if would take a chance in future. Considering the cost, one expects better.
This was our second visit within a month - both times were excellent.
My wife had the HRW menu and chose a salad to start followed by chicken scallopini with fettucini.
A unique aspect of the restaurant is their business lunch for $32 which includes three courses. I started with the foie gras and then had a petite tenderloin with a green peppercorn sauce - both were YUM. My wife then had the opera cake from my menu for dessert.
Accompanied by a nice bottle of wine and attentive service, this was an excellent meal. The restaurant was quiet, the staff (especially Gregory) was engaging, and a good time was had by all.
Once again, Jacques and his crew outdid themselves. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic.
Service was too rushed, lack of communication as to how to make for a tailored dining experience and the wine pairings were less than stellar.
Food was good and unique. Truffle potatoes were a little bland though
I have had great experiences in the past !! The owner and our waiter John were amazing... we had a wonderful bottle of wine but I was VERY disappointed with the steak and fries.... very thin with a fat rim. Next time I will order something more creative...
Well decorated. Good food. Good service. Open kitchen adds lots of value to the place. Easy free parking.
Excellent food and service. Great views of the ‘open kitchen’ throughout the restaurant. Cozy, yet not cramped.
Win list is acceptable for the food choices, both French and American choices
Don’t pass on dessert. Take it home if you must, but much with a cappuccino
And an extra few moment in this fine French retreat.
Good was superb. Chef and owner stopped for a chat since we were there at the end of lunch.
The restaurant exceeded all of my expectations! I am going to go back for sure! Everything I tried on the 6 course sampler was exquisite as was the service!
I love this Restaurant and the owner Jacques and his whole team make you so comfortable.
The food is wonderful and the wine list is very good
Had the 7 course dinner and server forgot to ask how we’d like our lamb cooked. We prefer rare and so it was cooked more than we’d have liked. Otherwise a very delicious evening!
Its always one of our favorite places to dine.
Had a girls dinner with artisans a few weeks ago. The meal was delicious and very enjoyable. Always love seeing Austin Hope on the menu. We tried a variety of appetizers - the beef Tartar was to die for as was the lobster bisque. None of us were crazy about the tuna appetizer. The scallop app was wonderful. Our service was very attentive and overall an enjoyable experience. The only thing I do want to point out is that due to Covid and distancing they’ve opened their special events space and we were seated back there - I think that took away from the ambiance of the restaurant and we would have preferred to sit in the main room.
Extraordinary! A wonderful Houston gem!
Delicious gourmet food, pleasant live music, cozy atmosphere. Always a treat coming here.
Best restaurant experience I have had in a long time. Great food, great service, beautiful place.
I just love this place. The food is sooooo good! The service is excellent.
Outstanding lunch. Great service. Food was fantastic. Will be back.
Chef Jacques never disappoints... everything perfectly prepared, and oh, those wonderful sauces.
The food was excellent and the service great. I would recommend this restaurant for a great date night
Fantastic choice for our 20th anniversary. The chefs table was awesome and the Godiva Martini was a treat!
