   I made the reservation only to find out that the restaurant was closed. No call or warning about this. I was very upset and had to scramble to find somewhere to get a bite on a Saturday night in midtown.

   Although we had a reservation through OpenTable, when we arrived at the restaurant, there was a sign on the window that said "Temporarily Closed." They could have offered the courtesy of a phone call or email. Pretty disappointing.

   I booked in for breakfast on Xmas day as per their menu. How we when we arrived they only had brunch menu. With nothing available for vegetarian.

   The brunch hear was great from beginning to end! I had the eggs Benedict and my friend had the cinnamon french toast. I’ve had eggs Benedict at a lot of the city’s top brunch spots and this ranked right there with any of them. The cinnamon french toast was absolutely out of this world! The mimosas and bellinis were fresh and delicious. I never had a pumkin bellini before but I will get this again for sure. The service from beginning to end was incredible as well even though the place was packed. It was warm without being intrusive. I can’t wait to try dinner here and of course another round of brunch.

   Overall a great experience. The risotto could use a little more seasoning, but was very good for non meat eaters. And my friend really loved her scallops. Desserts are delish and service is friendly and prompt.

    My grandpa and I enjoyed eating at Artisan's Gate. Read reviews before coming and the restaurant exceeded our expectations! The food was delicious, ambiance was nice, good service, good pricing for New York, and we thought it was a rather quiet and spacious restaurant as far as New York City goes.
