The four of us were seated on their covered, outdoor patio. Overlooking the calm waters of Traverse Bay. We had a number of the sharable plates. Each one as delicious as that last. Highly recommended dining experience.

Love the restaurant, the food, and the service. Just wished you had more on the lunch menu. But nevertheless the shrimp cocktail, kale Muhammar salad, the burgers, and the fish sandwich were all excellent !! Keep it up !!

Party bus atmosphere not the dinner experience we hoped for. Second time we’ve experienced large party’s of 16 or more at one table so loud we had a hard time hearing each other and the staff. Food was good, staff excellent.

Superb quality food artistically arranged and presented. Each dish was beautiful and delicious. Interesting local wines by the bottle and glass. Our server, Anna, was fantastic. Her knowledge and enthusiasm made the evening memorable.

Food was exceptional. The Michigan squash appetizer was outstanding. Salmon and cod dinners were amazing. Blueberry-lemonade sorbet and the pumpkin spice custard were spectacular.

The Artisan has quickly become a favorite of ours - the food is consistently delicious, the staff is always welcoming, and you cannot beat the location/view! We bring all visiting friends and family here, as we know they’ll have a lovely experience. 10/10 recommend!

Bad service. Sat without a cocktail for 15 minutes. Ordered wine that didn’t come at all during our dinner. I guess they were looking for it in the cellar. They brought a glass 15 or so minutes into our meal ( one we did not order) Very disappointed. It smelled like fish in there also too bright Steak overdone ordered M got well and M just in the middle so unevenly cooked. The manager did comp part of our meal but so not fun and relaxing as a meal out should be. Would never go back

Last minute reservation while traveling put us in bar/interior dining room instead of lakeside room. Still, had a very cozy booth with less noise and more romantic vibes. Small meals due to late lunch. Spouse loved her cod. My burger was excellent. Limited wine by the glass for a nice place. Service friendly.

From the moment we walked up to the host stand until we were bid farewell by Alex, the very amicable maître d’, we enjoyed every moment of the anniversary my husband and I were celebrating. Mari, our waiter, was knowledgeable, personable, and attentive and went out of her way to make our special day that much more special. The outdoor environment is second to none, being surrounded by the West Bay and the beautiful floral arrangements the restaurant has planted along their dining area. The food was a work of art and a saporous journey of what can be done with fresh (as well as local) ingredients. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this location to anyone looking for an elevated dining experience in a beautiful location with people they love.

Enjoyed this nice spot for lunch for three. Were able to sit outside near the water, so the atmosphere was nice and quiet. The indoor dining room looked lovely too though. The staff was all very friendly and they provided great, unhurried service. We had a small plate appetizer and then each had large plate main dishes. The food was all wonderfully prepared, was fresh, high quality and the flavor profiles and presentations were excellent. A very enjoyable place to enjoy a quiet, high quality lunch.

Always a wonderful experience for us! We love the spring pea pasta, and the sparkling rose! The fluffy caramel cheesecake is the perfect end, to a perfect meal every time, thank you for an exceptional place to enjoy, with exceptional wait staff!

Celebrated our 28th Anniversary at Artisan last evening. Monica, our server, was fantastic. She was attentive, cheerful, and overall excellent. We split the chowder and also ordered the warm bread served with Heirloom Tomato Butter... loved it! I chose the scallops and my husband the filet for our entrees. Both cooked to perfection. Overall, dreamy experience. Can't wait to return.

Food was excellent, the seating location was not ideal. We asked to be seated outdoors when we reserved the restaurant and we were seated at a 2 person table with people next to us on both sides. It was difficult to have a conversation without someone ease dropping since they were so close. Overall upsetting with the seating especially for the price we paid for dinner

Sunday evening Labor Day weekend. I made a reservation, because we were staying at the hotel (Delamar) in Traverse City. I am so glad I did, everything was perfect! Our service was great, food was absolutely delicious. Hubby proclaimed the burger was the best he's ever had! Seafood chowder was delightful, as well as the Caesar salad, ( with fried chickpeas and capers) And a beautiful setting!

Scallops were sent back 2x’s and was significantly undercooked. Wedge salad was excellent, lamb burger over cooked Waitress needs customer service training to give heads up to customers about understaffing and backups.

The food was incredible and the atmosphere was excellent. The best of all was our waiter Giovanni who made great suggestions and gave us some pointers on the area and where to go visit. Definitely will be coming back!!
