fine dining with the emphasis on local ingredients. Top notch service and a pre-fix that was an excellent value
Everything about Artisan is lovely from the minute you drive to this lovely Inn. The great thing is you do not have to stay there to enjoy the outstanding restaurant. Wine list is wonderful and food and service are desiring of 5 stars. Can't wait to go back and will try the bar area for a lighter menu at some point.
Great customer service. Waiter was very helpful and accommodating. One of our favorite spots in the area.
Love Artisan!!!! Everything about it is fabulous!!!!
Great food and drink - give this place a chance as it is well worth it!
Our first visit to Artisan - all courses were very good, freshest ingredients, adequate portions (not large!), and quite delicious. Wait was odd, was that we booked via open table - only available seating was later in the evening and when we arrived, there was plenty of open tables. ...and the bar was lively.
We always enjoy Artisan and try to save it for special occasions. When we have 5 or 6 couples the private room is terrific and quiet. This is a place where we can enjoy a conversation and we are never rushed.
We had a fantastic brunch for 9 people! Everything was excellent!
Artisan is always a standout. Food is superb — with a twist on tastes by an excellent chef. We do the lunch prix fixe, which is a real value. The service never fails to impress and as this was a birthday occasion, we were given a special treat. Bravo, Artisan!
Poor service!
Great spot, busy vibe. A bit pricey but worth it for a nice night out
Artisan is one of the few good restaurants in this area. The food and the service is consistently good, the staff is well trained. I enjoy eating at Artisan with friends.
Had a fantastic birthday lunch for my husband. Food was delicious, service impeccable, great ambience. Our server went above and beyond and even my normally 3 picky daughters were delighted. A 5-star experience all around. Highly recommend and will definitely be back! Thank you 🙏
As always , Artisan was a wonderful experience . The food, service and ambiance are all excellent . We have been several times and plan in returning.
business meeting
great food and service!!
Friends had recommended Artisan as a possible location for a large luncheon party. I wanted to see it and try the food, service, etc. before I made any reservations. I was so delighted with lunch, ambience, service . . . that I made the reservations. The menu is varied enough to satisfy most tastes.
I have been to artisan once before. It is a beautiful restaurant with exceptional food, and attentive staff. But since it’s a little pricey, we waited for a special night to go back. We celebrated Valentine’s Day (a few days late). If I could dine at Artisan every week, I would! The ambiance is romantic, the noise level is low.... perfect for a date night, and the food is better than delicious!
Such a fabulous dinner!!! Everything was delicious and fresh. The octopus was so so good and the dessert selection is👍🏻 A little pricey but it is in line with the area.
Excellent food, relaxed atmosphere.
Consistently delicious, classic ambience, excellent service - Artisan never disappoints!
Very comfortable room with good spacing between tables and a wonderfully low noise lever. Service very congenial and good but I think our server was a bit stretched. There was a long period between our saying we needed a little more time before ordering an her return. Oyster and clam appetizer was superb but best eaten without the accompanying condiments which were over powering. Scallop entire was very good but the lobster linguini was over cooked and a bit rubbery and the other ingredients overpowered the lobster. Deserts were good.
I am here every Sunday afternoon for brunch. The best. ❤️
Very nice atmosphere. Service from bar to dining room was great! Delicious food and wine! Sommelier made perfect recommendation for a bottle of red Zinfandel blend.
Great place for lunch. The food is tasty, and nicely sized portions. The service is great, attentive, but no overdone. The only thing you can fault Artisan on, is that it is need of a good update. The banquet seat has cigarette burns ? The casual seating area by the fire has chairs that are downright grubby, stained, and not nice to sit in. The table tops are heat marked and need to be refinished. If they would spend some time and money on some much needed housekeeping, this would be a straight five star venue.
Excellent food wonderful service.
My boyfriend and I came for dinner on a Saturday evening. 8:15 reservation. Didn’t wait to long to be seated in main dining room. It’s definitely an older crowd at this location compared to sister hotel/restaurant, Lescale in Greenwich. However the food is 10x better at this place! Highly recommend the chicken liver mouse appetizer, the Scottish Salmon and the best dish we’ve had in a while, the Berkshire Pork Chip. That and a beer and glass of wine came to $100. Not too bad.
Service was way too rushed. I felt like we were being pushed out from the moment we arrived. I find it extremely rude when servers keep returning to clear plates when members of the dining party are still eating. Perhaps reservations should be more spaced out.
Food was outstanding and generous portions. The sauces were amazing and allowed you to enjoy the taste of the food. Crab cakes were expensive at$18 each but were full of crab no fillers. Would go back for special occasion.
If you want a leisure and relaxing lunch were you can actually hear each other conversation, this time is the place to dine. The staff is very friendly and extremely attentive without feeling being rushed. The lunch menu has a nice selection. I always enjoy thei soups and sandwiches. And of course, their desserts are a must!
Ambiance and food is an asset to this restaurant.
Everything we ate was delicious and the decor had an elegant and inviting vibe.
The waiter was very nice however, wish he was was more attentive to us.
He seemed to be preoccupied by chatting with his fellow workers and when we needed him, he wasn't available.
Overall, we would definitely go back with the hopes service will improve!
We’ve been here a number of times, but only for special occasions. It is hard to believe that each time the food and service get better and better. Halfway through our meal, we were planning our next special occasion back.
Atmosphere is wonderfully cozy! Perfect mood lighting for a romantic evening with your loved one. Food is always excellent! We had the Lamb Chops special tonight, which was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. Very tender and absolutely delicious! Makes you want the whole lamb! The side of creamy polenta is amazing - think of mashed potatoes that are more dense and melt in your mouth. This combo mixed with the side of chopped brussel sprouts was fantastic!
As always everything was great at Artisan. Food was delicious and our waiter was awesome! Our only complaint is we got there for a 2:30 reservation. The host sat us and said “The kitchen closes at 2:30 but I told the Chef to wait because you were coming.” My husband and I both were dumb founded as to why he said this. Why take a 2:30 reservation if the kitchen closes at 2:30? This comment by the man who sat us was not necessary. It took our experience from 5 stars to 4.
Artisan is consistently one of the best restaurants we eat at. The food is always fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is cozy and the service top notch. A great place for a night out in the dining room or a quick lunch in the bar.
The food was, as usual, creative and delicious. Had the $39 meal, which was 3 courses and a good value.
Love the Artisian, however, bar area for dinner was much TOO loud. One of the reasons I bring people there is because you can talk......this nite what was terribly loud and would stop me for returning
I appreciate the price fix menu. The food was fabulous and variety was superb. Thank you.
So good..service excellent... Lamb was so big lol but so good
The food was delicious, ambiance lovely, service exceptional and excellent value!
Three of us requested the chicken dish, which was pounded thin and topped with a salad. All of us felt that the taste was very dry and needed some type of sauce.
