Delicious, good size portions.
Friendly service and the place looked clean. The chairs are not the mos comfortable but they didn’t prevent me from enjoying my food
Food was excellent. Laid back vibe was exactly what we were looking for. Service was as good as the food! Will definitely be back when in the area!
Very crowded on Saturday night and short staffed for size of crowd. Waiter and waitress had to really hustle. Food was excellent!
GIRL, I took my bf out here for his birthday cause he’s a ramen THOT
And to be honest I was never crazy about Ramen but this place put me on I’m definitely coming back. I gotta try the mochi ice cream next time.
Good spot. Enjoyed it
The veggie ramen was excellent, interesting mix of flavors. I’d suggest adding the black garlic. My husband had the Dan Dan noodles which he said were very good. The cheese stick appetizers were good, if you like cheese , you’ll like them.
My food was amazing. The atmosphere was cozy. And my service could only be described as beauty incarnate. The best night out I've had in quite some time.
It was out first time. The food and service were very good, excellent flavors with the food. The ambiance lacks though, hard chairs, cheap paper napkins and concrete floor. Dinner for three, appetizers and three non-alcoholic drinks $51. I would go back but not for a while.
Loved the make your own ramen! Large portions with so many options for type of noodle, soup base, toppings were delicious. Had the pork with miso and classic noodles and all the toppings- wish I lived closer so I could go here all the time. Service was great and they even validate your parking at garage next door
Food was good and fast. The server was quick to take our order, but took nearly a hour to get the bill and it wasnt busy. Will go again for the food and theme, but will be asking for the check right away.
Nice place to catch a quick, casual meal. Ramen was very good. well prepared and had nice flavors and some zip.
It is definately awesome place!!! Animed themed, so cool! Recommend(๑ `▽´๑)۶
Okay let me start by saying HOLY AWESOME RAMEN!! Not only did I leave full, but the service was beyond amazing!!! I was blown away with how polite everyone was, it really made the whole experience that much better. I walked in and instantly got sat, my waiter was a bit busy but was very attentive. I had the Pork, Shoyu, with Spicy noodles. The pork was so tender filled with such great flavor, I loved the mushrooms as well sweet but delicious.
Their happy hour is great as well, cant go wrong with a spotted cow for $3.50. Cant wait to come back
Absolutely would recommend the Chicken Ramen Bowl or the Mochi. So yummy!!!
It was a terrible experience. My ramen was really weird and I called the server and ordered a curry instead. I never said that I want the ramen not charged to me, but she said she would not charge for the ramen. So I thought I would only pay for the curry. However, after I received my receit I saw that the ramen was charged. She had lied to me!!
Hello there, I have taken a look at the receipt that you claim was incorrect. I would like to inform you that we in fact did take off that ramen you were not very fond of, at the bottom of your receipt (13.00) off of your entire bill. Your total bill was $22.28. Sprite $2.00 Japanese popcorn chicken $6.00 Japanese Curry $13.00 Tax 1.28 All of those items, not including your ramen would've equaled to the total of your bill $22.28 I apologize if your receipt was not very informational.
We have a great experience here last week. Love the sushi and ramen. Service is great too! Will be back for sure!
Loved our dinner here! Amazing service, they where busy and still had super service with our guy,Izzy! Our food was so good , will be back for sure!!🍜
Very solid offerings. We liked it so much we ate here twice during our recent (and only, forever) visit to the city.
Fun, funky atmosphere. Friendly service. Food was great. We enjoyed ramen, udon stir fry, bubble tea, matcha lemonade...Delish!
Good spot for families, college students and date night. We will return.
The service was so nice. The food was amazing. Best ramen in mke.
Portions are generous and food is filling. Taste is not for everyone although I enjoyed it. We ordered two alcoholic drinks by our waitress' recommendation. Normally drinks come right away but one of our drinks came halfway into our meal and the other one was never received. Our waitress was wonderful to explain everything and make recommendations when we got there. However, once we received the food she seemed to disappear. I was disappointed that she did not bring the drinks on time (or at all). She checked on us once and then we waited a long time to get our bill. The atmosphere is ok, room was pretty quiet except for one customer that was super loud. The restaurant felt extremely cold the whole time we were there. It wasn't packed so there was no reason that everything shouldn't have gone smoothly. All in all, I'm glad we tried something new but I personally wouldn't return or recommend Artisan Ramen.
Glad we got a great ramen place in Milwaukee finally.
Fun interior as well!
Will be returning soon. Food is excellent. The Pork Belly Ramen was so flavorful with just the right amount of "kick". The Hibiscus Berry Lemonade cocktail was smooth and not too sweet. The Dorayaki proved to be the perfect ending. Our dining party felt it tasted like chocolate, don't be afraid to try it. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive and offered spot on advice for the level of "heat" for assorted dishes. 5 plus stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I was visiting my son in Milwaukee and we decided to have Ramen becasue it is his favorite food. We looked at the area Ramen restaurants and Artisan Ramen looked like the best one becasue of their menu options and home made noodles. We were not disappointed! It was the best Ramen we have ever had. My son had the pork broth and I had the seafood. He added the butter to his broth and I added the black Garlic. I got the spicy noodles and he got the soba noodles. Both soups were so flavorful and superb that we talked about coming back ASAP. Definitely try this restaurant if like Ramen, you will not be disappointed:}
When we came in we were seated and forgotten about. It took over 20 mins for a waitress to come up to us and get started. Then our ramen was messed up and our appitizers came at the same time our food did. The bartender was on his phone in front of everyone and the kitchen staff kept looking out into the dining area which made it uncomfortable.
Excellent food. Distracting club-ish music - not bad but a bit aggressive for early dinner- and this was early. Very friendly staff. Our Waiter was very friendly but - I don’t mean to be unkind I must say he was annoying. He made a number of quickly fixed mistakes and every time blamed them on computer problems in the restaurant or co-workers. That might be true but it’s not really a great thing to share all of that with a diner. Also I had not finished my meal at all when he came and took my husband’s plate. We were on a romantic date and it was very weird , we felt rushed and it was just very awkward. He went on at some length about how he was trained in fine dining and had trained many other people in French style dining. I didn’t see any evidence of that. He certainly was pleasant, just way too much. We will go back because The food was really fantastic.
Service was excellent. Ordered the chicken ramen that was really good and filling. Wouldn't order the beef skewers again for an appetizer. There was no flavor just a big chunk of meat on a stick. Other then that would definitely go back for some more ramen!
Snowy day so My daughter and I decided to get something warm to eat. We’d been wanting to go here for awhile. It was slow probably because of the weather but the food was fantastic. We had the vegetable gyoza for an appetizer and vegetable base ramen. Also had the Thai black tea which was very good and warming. Will definitely go back.
Japanese spice level in your ramen is legit. Spice level 2 was fire. Excellent hot tea selections
Fantastic Ramen and even better service. Great experience and can't wait to go again.
Took the family to get Ramen and the staff was welcoming and warm. The decor is fun and makes you smile while feeling comforting.
The food was yummy and we were all happy. Solid Ramen, better then average. Noodles were not epic but yummy. Lots of options most places do not have.
Artisan Ramen Star Wars - Our New Year's Eve dinner was terrific! Great venue, fast, friendly waitstaff, delicious food all around. We weren't sure why there was so much Star Wars decoration on the walls, why Baby Groot in a Christmas sweater was on the bar, but no matter! It made our visit interesting and we loved watching the "live" stream of someone walking around Japan somewhere on the tv behind our table. We think it was Japan anyway, but it literally was someone walking up and down some streets, stopping to buy a drink from a vending machine, holding a camera out in front of them. Anyway, we ordered three appetizers and they all were delicious: Spicy Edamame, Vegetable Gyoza, and Agedashi Tofu - highly recommend them all. We were able to get vegan ramen here in a rich broth with just the right amount of spice and heat. We would all come here again and bring friends. I like a lot of ingredients in my ramen, so I wish they had more to choose from, but it was still very, very good. That's the only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars Next time I'd like to try the Japanese Curry as I've never had one before. Oh, and one interesting fact our waitress told us when we ordered saki. She informed us when sake is heated, it's usually done so to hide the bad taste if it's a poor quality sake! We ordered ours cold. Super good! I had a Hibiscus Berry Lemonade which was supposedly had vodka in it, but I didn't taste any, and neither did my companion. All in all, this is a very, very good place to come to for ramen in Milwaukee.
The menu was very easy to understand in order to build your own ramen bowl. Our waitress was rather knowledgeable, explained everything, and gave us some of her favorite combinations as examples. The food was wonderful, the pork melted in my mouth and the Japanese spice certainly gave a good kick to my boyfriend’s shoyu broth. I would also highly recommend adding the black garlic!
Food was good. Made quickly. Service was inattentive. We sat over 5 minutes at last seating with only one other table filled and a scattering at bar. Server did not bring glass for drink 2 times so I went up to bar to ask and retrieve myself where the server was eating food. Interior sort of like college dorm room, surprising for location.
The food was really good and came out of the kitchen in a reasonable time. It took about a half an hour to get our drinks from the bar then it turns out they didn’t have an ingredient for one of the drinks on the menu that my wife wanted. She settled for a soda instead. The waitress did not charge me for the beer that took so long which helped.
The food was good. I should say ramen soup. I feel it is a little overpriced for the amount of protein you get. I had the pork belly which was quite fatty but the veggies in the soup were good. Service was a little slow getting started but improved after we got our drinks. I would have been very disappointed if I had not had a Groupon. Overall it is an average place.
Food was too bland for our taste. Fried dumplings were cold. Staff friendly but very slow.
Great food and appetizers service was quick and smooth will definitely go back and try something new
I found the service to be excellent, the restaurant was very clean and it had a retro vibe. We ordered shrimp tempura for appetizer, very large shrimp snd very tasty. We ordered the “build your own ramen”. It was really good. We will definitely be back!
It was a great experience, We were greeted at the door, the atmosphere was lively and the drinks were phenomenal!
