Artisan Beach House, Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour Ratings and Reviews
Outside dining for dinner was lovely, inside atmosphere is nothing particularly special, typical hotel. Breakfast service was not great, slow and inattentive. However, dinner and bar service in the evenings was very good. The food overall for all meals is very good!
Harassed by birds when sitting outside. The host should have pointed that out as an issue prior to seating. Had to go ask for the check. Waiting a long time for two eggs over medium and were crispy and brown. Husband’s egg white omelet took forever as well and was very small. Very overpriced for quality of food and selection. Sausage cold. Bacon lack luster. Fruit was the highlight of the meal.
We made reservation for two at the bar for the New Year's bash. We did not eat at the restaurant, but the ambience, the show, the music, and the drinks were excellent. Before midnight they gave us the champagne. Everything was very organized. I would go again next year and recommend friends. The price was great too.
Host told us we could not eat as we arrived 2 min. Before closing. I was refferred to the bar for a drink. 9:58pm on a Friday night of a holiday weekend. Completly unacceptable. I am a f&b manager at a major beach resort in miami, i would never treat clients this way.
My wife and I were there to celebrate her birthday. We knew it was in the water but weren’t sure about the quality of the food or the service beforehand. Wow, we were pleasantly surprised as the food and service were amazing! Delicious! We can’t wait to return!
Gabriel our server was outstanding ! We had a great experience. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and we had a great time. Food was delicious and the drinks were on point. Couldn't have asked for a more personalized service. Exceeded our expectations.
Impeccable service and incredible hand crafted drinks take this brunch to another level. The food was delicious but simple. We had an omelet , eggs benedict and a waffle. All were prepared well. What really impressed us were the cocktails. We had a peach and bourbon cocktail that was superb. The Mai-Tai here is not the typical orangey, sticky sweet concoction served at beach bars. It was elevated to a higher plane and was simply outstanding. The service here is typical of Ritz-Carlton which is to say "the top standard" in service./ I would rank the service here top of the line for any restaurant, any where. The brunch was amazing and worth repeating again.
From the time we were seated our server David seemed to have an issue. His attitude was so unbelievably rude I even forgot we were at the Ritz were I've always experienced excellent service. He made it obvious he didn't want to be there and we were much of a bother to him.
The food options very limited. $10 for a plate with 3 french fries is OVERRATED!
Started off with grilled octopus, ricotta pea smash toast, oysters, pork belly and shishito peppers. My husband thought the oysters were some of the best and we have had some while in Seattle to Boston. Pork belly was really good too, nice and crispy. The toast was very fresh and rich tasting. For mains we has clams and mussels, pasta dish, seafood stew, and brocollini. The clams and mussels vs. seafood stew wasn't much of a difference other than about 10$ more for the stew and the clams and mussels seemed like a larger portion. The pasta was not memorable, I don't even remember the. And but it did have short rib in it with a watery sauce. As for the side of brocollini it was the best ever. For dessert we opted for churros and peach cobbler. The waitress recommended the cobbler and it was decent, the churros were much better. Definitely will be back to try more items.
Great food, marvelous taste, unusual preparation very taste. Unfortunately non existing service. Love ritz Carlton restaurants and food at this one is amazing but service very bad. Even check we had to sign with a Td bank pen
I've eaten here several times
Server was overwhelmed with three large tables, clearly one of which was very familiar to her. Consequently our table was frequently overlooked. Ironically I would have to ask another server with whom I have some experience with for attention
Drove all the way here from Coral Gables to celebrate my college graduation and birthday. Was very happy with the food & service. Was even surprised with a handwritten congratulations tray of some desserts we chose. The view is incredible - I would recommend going about an hour before sunset. Great for a nice dinner or to celebrate a special occasion.
