This place is TERRIFIC and the prices are reasonable!!
The waitstaff is friendly and attentive without hovering
The food is DELICIOUS EVERY TIME WE COME THERE!
I was disappointed that they ran out of 2 of my favorite items.
Restaurant was packed since it was Head of the Charles weekend, and to wait about 10min for our reservation but it was so busy, I thought it would be longer. Service was amazing, our waiter was quick with drinks and refills even with every table being full. Food came in good time and tasted great. Everything was cooked perfectly. Will definitely go back the next time we're in Boston
Excellent service on a very busy Saturday evening, very good food for the price. A friendly, local atmosphere, great for informal dining
I thought the service was great. We were 5 I picked something I didn't really like but all the other 4 loved their food.
Here for the first time for dinner before a show. Our table was waiting for us as we arrived and greeted warmly as we were shown to our table.
Lauren our server took our drink orders and answered our menu question.
Dinner consisted of fish and chips and crab cake sandwich served on a English muffins (a great touch) along with lattice fries.
Fish and chips were hot, crispy light batter and flaky fresh tasty fish. The crab cake had literally no filler just crab that was very flavorful and the lattice fries were crispy crispy crispy (a big plus for me).
Very reasonable price wise with very good size portions.
Really enjoyed ourselves from start to finish and will certainly be back when in the area. Thank you.
Was impressed with how quickly our party of 8 was seated and served. Food was good with a nice variety to meet the needs of all.
so many options on food and beer- really delicious
Server was overwhelmed and distracted, made several order errors due to not remembering/hearing/paying attention. Sat for a while waiting to order and again to pay.
It was nice, but kind of disappointing.
The tots were delicious- but I would have been happier if I’d just gotten a to go.
Article 24 is a comfortable place to get decent food. All four of us enjoyed our meal but especially LOVED the brussel sprouts appetizer. Fabulous and not greasy.
It would be nice if they had a few other additional desserts on the menu. Possibly have a "featured" special dessert each week.
All in all, a place we will continue to go to.
Great place to eat after BC football game.
Went for dinner - was definitely more of a bar than a restaurant
Food was delicious. The Service was excellent. Atmosphere is fun. Drawbacks were that the seating is very close together, so its hard to not hear other conversations. And the overall volume level was a little too loud for my taste.
love this place! my only criticism is the high noise level of trivia through a bad sound system... really made for my first (and, hopefully, only) uncomfortable dining experience at article 24.
Friday is music night, so it is very loud!
Great food, great beer selection
Food was just ok. Nothing special. Service was good.
The food and drinks at Article 24 are always excellent. The staff is always friendly and nice. That is why we always choose Article 24 !
Food was poor in general. Steak frites was not sirloin as advertised. Chewy lower grade meat.
We went for trivia. We won so we will be back.
Taco Tuesday? Dry meat in tacos. Waitress seemed annoyed and impatient. Been there a few times. This time definitely the last
Cool vibe and great drinks. We were excited by the menu but the zucchini fries and chicken were extremely salty.
Cool venue with a neat vibe. We stopped in for lunch having been there before about a year ago. Our waitress was fantastic and overall service was good. I just thought the menu had really been paired down and there were not that many choices. I had article 24 breakfast which was simply ok. My friend had fish tacos which she enjoyed.
Great service! Loved playing trivia.
Waitress was rude, brunch menu was really small with no options, and no sides or substitutions even listed on the menu or even allowed in some cases. One friend ordered a steak which took longer but they didn't ask whether they wanted all the food brought out at the same time, so we all got the food and waited for the steak to come out last, the waitress told us something didn't come with potatoes and we'd have to order a side, and then the meal *did* come with potatoes and we were still charged for the side. Eggs were kinda rubbery, the steak that did come out was asked to me medium, and it was almost too rare to eat.
Have been several times before. Food has always been good. Service has been hit or miss. This time everything seemed to be a miss. Server was polite, but fill a water glass every once in awhile. Food came different from what was ordered. Overall a disappointing meal.
The food and the wine selection was good. Especially enjoyed the wine. Served chill :) The service was mediocre. It was very hot and the restaurant was well air conditioned. I’d definitely recommend and return.
Service was great and the meal was fantastic. The Hog wings were a surprise gem to us. Moist, tasty and literally fall of the bone!
We are out of towners and came in based on Open Table’s search engine. Great very positive surprise.
Overall, a lovely restaurant and meal, but nothing overly special, although my daughter LOVED the martinis!
Ate here for Father’s Day brunch. Food, service and cocktails were all excellent. The potatoes with breakfast dishes were literally a whole potato! My husband got lunch and we both had enough to take half home. Love that they sell buckets of bubbly too. Want to go back to try the taco venue downstairs. Will be back again soon.
Went in for brunch on a Saturday. Our server was attentive and very considerate. Food was good and portions were spot on. Definitely a more laid-back brunch sport, but excellent nonetheless. Come early to avoid the lines!
Excellent food and not too crowded for brunch if you're there on the earlier side. In addition to beer and cocktails, Article 24 has delicious nitro cold brew.
The website doesn’t mention that at 3pm the “menu” is not available, so we could chose only from a limited late night menu with fried dishes.
Had a great meal! Burger and steak were really good and the fried fluffetnutter dessert came with Nutella - can’t go wrong with Nutella! Down side - Side of Brussels spouts with steak were really undercooked. Only real complaint was that though the nacho chips were really good and had plenty of guacamole and sour cream, there wasn’t really much else on the nachos except maybe tablespoon of chopped tomatoes and some really watery cheese sauce.
Went here on a whim for Sunday brunch and heard good things about this place. I ordered the tater tot poutine and it was the best decision I made that day. 10/10 would recommend. It was pretty busy when we were there and half the time didn't see our waiter, but they seemed understaffed for the day. Eventually, we were able to pay for our bill. On the weekends, there is parking in the back just an FYI
This was our first time at Article 24. Four of us went for brunch at noon on a Sunday. It was full but not packed. Crowd was young and energized. Food, when it finally came, was good but not anything special. Drinks also good but not worthy of special praise. Biggest problem was service. We meant to have a long, relaxed brunch together, but we did not expect three hours, with a full hour passing between appetizers and main course. Seemed to be a glitch in system or human error putting our order in. Waitperson was totally pleasant and apologetic. She comped one or our entrees for the inconvenience. We noticed that other tables around us were persistently being served the wrong orders. Plates were set down in front of customers. Customers adopted quizzical facial expressions. Servers had discussions about confusion. Severs picked up plates and tried, often in vain, to find the correct table and customer for the order. I think waiting table is among the hardest jobs around. The pace and level of detail are challenging, but I rarely see this level of confusion and mistake. Inadequate training is likely the problem. With a decent system and good basic training, this kind of thing should be a rare, not common, occurrence. Would not return here.
Fun atmosphere, great food and service! Easy street parking as well.
Great food and good beer selection. Now they have a quieter, more intimate downstairs with a focus on tequila and tacos (but also serve their full menu). Over the last year its become my new favorite place!
Great service, excellent food fairly priced, fun atmosphere. Really good drinks. Will definitely go again if I’m in the neighborhood.
