Ate here for Father’s Day brunch. Food, service and cocktails were all excellent. The potatoes with breakfast dishes were literally a whole potato! My husband got lunch and we both had enough to take half home. Love that they sell buckets of bubbly too. Want to go back to try the taco venue downstairs. Will be back again soon.
Went in for brunch on a Saturday. Our server was attentive and very considerate. Food was good and portions were spot on. Definitely a more laid-back brunch sport, but excellent nonetheless. Come early to avoid the lines!
Excellent food and not too crowded for brunch if you're there on the earlier side. In addition to beer and cocktails, Article 24 has delicious nitro cold brew.
The website doesn’t mention that at 3pm the “menu” is not available, so we could chose only from a limited late night menu with fried dishes.
Had a great meal! Burger and steak were really good and the fried fluffetnutter dessert came with Nutella - can’t go wrong with Nutella! Down side - Side of Brussels spouts with steak were really undercooked. Only real complaint was that though the nacho chips were really good and had plenty of guacamole and sour cream, there wasn’t really much else on the nachos except maybe tablespoon of chopped tomatoes and some really watery cheese sauce.
This was our first time at Article 24. Four of us went for brunch at noon on a Sunday. It was full but not packed. Crowd was young and energized. Food, when it finally came, was good but not anything special. Drinks also good but not worthy of special praise. Biggest problem was service. We meant to have a long, relaxed brunch together, but we did not expect three hours, with a full hour passing between appetizers and main course. Seemed to be a glitch in system or human error putting our order in. Waitperson was totally pleasant and apologetic. She comped one or our entrees for the inconvenience. We noticed that other tables around us were persistently being served the wrong orders. Plates were set down in front of customers. Customers adopted quizzical facial expressions. Servers had discussions about confusion. Severs picked up plates and tried, often in vain, to find the correct table and customer for the order. I think waiting table is among the hardest jobs around. The pace and level of detail are challenging, but I rarely see this level of confusion and mistake. Inadequate training is likely the problem. With a decent system and good basic training, this kind of thing should be a rare, not common, occurrence. Would not return here.
Fun atmosphere, great food and service! Easy street parking as well.
Great food and good beer selection. Now they have a quieter, more intimate downstairs with a focus on tequila and tacos (but also serve their full menu). Over the last year its become my new favorite place!
Great service, excellent food fairly priced, fun atmosphere. Really good drinks. Will definitely go again if I’m in the neighborhood.
Great live band!
I absolutely love this place. I bring all my out of town friends that come to visit here and it is a regular place for my friend from Waltham and I to meet for brunch or dinner!
Went with my husband and one month old son for my first Mother's Day. The restaurant was by no means full or crowded (there were always empty tables), yet our service was incredibly slow. Our server ignored us most of the time, and concentrated on her slightly larger parties. Being someone who works in retail/customer service, I typically do not like to complain, and even when were sat right next to a leak in the ceiling, and were going to ask to move, but couldn't get anyone's attention, we decided to adjust our seats and not let it spoil our first time out of the house as a family. But, then we went without drinks, silverware, etc for the majority of our meal, and our food was served IMMEDIATELY after our appetizer. We were never offered 'anything else' once our food was cleared, and we were quickly given our check. We felt ignored, rushed, and frankly, I an still so sad over such a terrible experience to celebrate Mother's Day. I would tell anyone considering going to Article 24 to absolutely skip it and go elsewhere.
Casual fun atmosphere. Portion of meal was small but service was wonderful.
Had an enjoyable Mother's Day brunch with our family. Thank you to Alexis for accommodating our late addition to our reservation!
We went for Mother's Day and had a wonderful time. I randomly chose Article 24 after looking at the menu and recognizing that it had something that each of us would like. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and we enjoyed the ambiance as we were seated downstairs at Bandita. Everyone selected different entrees and thankfully, my "foodie family" liked everything. I highly recommend the donut of the day which on Mother's Day was a strawberry shortcake biscuit that was fresh and flavorful. The pancake of the day was peanut butter, jelly and fluff and it was a decadent delight. We would definitely go back.
Easy to find, good parking available, pretty funky decorations, our Quinoa salad was stellar, my nachos were perfect, our fish dinners were excellent. Highly recommended!
We were in town for our daughter’s graduation and wanted to have a late lunch early dinner. Our original reservation was for 3 but we had to change it last minute to 4, the team was very accommodating and change reservation. Turns out we got there a bit early which was fine the team had our table ready.
Upon entering we noticed it was very loud, the host apologized and stated that they were at the end of a drag brunch and the noise level would be less. After being seated it was still a bit loud especially since we were seated under a speaker, we shared our concern with our waitress who immediately remedied the problem. For apps we had the nachos and calamari which were pretty good. Entrees we had duck, salmon, brick chicken, and surf and turf. Our son with crazy allergies ordered the Ramen noodles which unfortunately had to be sent back because he’s allergic to eggs, fish, mushrooms, etc. everyone was happy with their meal I personally wasn’t in love with my salmon. Although perfectly cooked it was wicked salty.
Overall we as mature adults would never go back. We felt like restaurant/pub was more for a more youthful clientele. So 5 stars for service, everything else was meh.
always great service!
Natalia and the team at Article 24 are absolutely amazing. They never cease to amaze and impress me. It has become my go to weekend and weeknight spot for work meetings, a night with friends, or a brunch with family. Thank you for creating such a special atmosphere with excellent food, drinks, and service. 10/10
Great food! Great beer! Great atmosphere. The staff was super nice and seated us even though we were very early for our reservation. Will come back again.
Food was amazing. The gentleman who brought the food to the table was beyond friendly. The waitress did get our order correct but not very friendly but she was very thorough
Great food and ambiance. Drinks where delicious. Waitress seemed annoyed when an order was wrong, had do sent it back due to a food allergy. Overall good food and drinks, could have better service.
We liked it but they don't have white toast! I know it sounds minor, but they told us that they only serve Rye toast because "we're not a diner - we're more upscale than that!" The waitress gave us a snotty attitude and then added that they do have English muffins. I mean, seriously?! I know it's not a greasy diner, it's a typical local casual restaurant, not even expensive which is great! My group actually laughed as soon as she walked away because even the finest hotels & best, expensive restaurants offer white toast. At least we all got a good laugh - and will continue to laugh at it at every subsequent brunch & restaurant we go to!
Such a fun place, the food and drinks are good and the karaoke is fun :)
I have been here several times and I just love it. Food is wonderful, waitstaff is friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere. I was there on Trivia night (Tuesday) which was so much fun. I highly recommend it!
Overall I enjoy eating at Article 24 - ambiance is great, service good, and the food is usually good. Unfortunately on our last visit all of our meat was severely undercooked. My son, who loves meat on the medium rare side with quite a bit of red, had to send his steak back because it was raw on the interior. Similarly, 4 of us ordered burgers, and all were extremely rare - we were in an hurry so most of us ate the edges and avoided the raw interior, but my husband's was inedible. I'll give them another try, as this has not been my typical experience - not sure what was going on that day with the grill....
Love Article 24 for brunch but was very disappointed for supper. All 3 meals we ordered were just okay but lacked in flavor and quality for the price point. We will return but most likely only for brunch.
Just a bunch of middle aged friends trying a new brunch spot - some came famished and eager to try the drinks!
I’d still recommend it because I have had a good experience here before but the music is WAY too loud which means you have to shout. Everyone in the room shouting means you can’t hear anything including your server. We were also thrown at how small the fish and chips entree was. Two tiny pieces of fish for $17. It was obnoxious. Quality of the food is really good though.
The server highly recommended the braised short ribs, and they were amazing. So tender they fell apart in your mouth and incredibly flavorful. Great food for the price and a wide variety of beers.
Good food; nice place for a brunch with friends
Good just did not like the potato hash browns at brunch
Great place for dinner. Good food and atmosphere. Parking was confusing.
It was understaffed and the servers were noticeably stressed. I think they had 3 in total. As a former server, I know that’s not on them.
The ambiance is nice but that goes out the window when you have two servers unsure if your table is actually their table. Drinks take a while to be run. And then meal and appetizer came out at the same time.
Overall, management should properly staff and cut someone if it is slow. This was a Friday night so- use your brain. I think with less chaos this place has great potential.
The tuna tartare is amazing. Sunday’s are open mic night and half price appetizers- it was a perfect way to end the weekend.
We had a perfectly pleasant time here. Our 9-year-old enjoyed her burger. Waffle fries were delicious, as was the lavender shrub cocktail. Falafel tacos were great and not too filling.
Great burgers, nice beer selection. Energetic place, with excellent service.
Article 24 is a great, casual restaurant that has fun events each night. I usually go to trivia because a friend of mine hosts for Stump Trivia. I often get the $3 tacos on Tuesdays which are great, and they have other food deals other nights. The drinks are inconsistent in how they taste, however, and service is very minimal. The food is delicious and the space is cozy, but service could definitely be improved.
Great evening! Casual atmosphere, eclectic menu choices. The short rib gnocchi was outstanding. Friendly, prompt service.
