Good breakfast, nice waitress, decent buffet. Will come again.
In fairness, I can only comment on the service because it was so bad that we left before we had an opportunity to eat anything. Clearly we made a reservation and we showed up on time and were seated by a pleasant young hostess with a great attitude.
We were walked to our table and given menus.
There were 4 other seated tables in the main dining room, and one large party in a separate room. Initially, we only saw one waitress, running drinks and delivering food to one of the other tables. Once their food was delivered, we were the only table left, not greeted, or serviced. We sat for 15 minutes before our young hostess came by to ask, "has anyone been with you or taken your drink order?" To which we answered, "no".
10 more minutes went back and we slowly started to count the number of employees dressed in all black coming out of the kitchen area. We counted at least 7. Because they were all dressed the same it was impossible to know who was a server and who wasn't. There was a gentleman making drinks, slowly, in shorts and a Hawaiian shirt.
Finally, a group of servers and the hostess gathered by the kitchen door and started whispering and pointing to our table. The only one not serviced, without water, without cocktails, and not greeting whatsoever. We later found out that the man we witnessed on the floor was a supervisor, who went to EVERY table in the dining room and asked how they were, except ours.
After the whispering and pointing, no drinks, no server, no manager. The group of employees then gathered to whisper and point at us again from the bar. Finally, the man in shorts and the hostess returned with our drinks. I asked for the manager. The hostess apologized and explained she was underage and couldn't serve us, which made perfect sense.
A woman walked by and said, "I'll take your order" and kept walking as if she was doing us a favor. Finally, the supervisor came to take our orders at which point I spoke to him about our experience and left.
Need more options of food. Maybe something more vegetarian
Very attentive staff and nice environment, however the kitchen was a little slow.
Had a reservation for 6:00. Arrived about 10 minutes early and were seated right away. Menu options are limited. Alfredo pizza was pretty good. Fried Mozzarella was greasy and bland. Entrees didn’t arrive until 8:15 as our order was never received in the kitchen. Half of our party already gave up and went back to the room as we were dining with a two year old. Toddlers can’t possibly be expected to sit still for over 2 hours waiting for dinner. The waiter was inattentive during this whole process. When the food finally did arrive it was not great. Not much in the way of an apology from either the waiter or management. Would never go back to this restaurant.
Food was bad. 👎 Hostesses need a little training, overpriced for bad diner food. Ambience was pleasant.
Very impressed with the service and the meal. We can't after a long day at dutch wonderland. Kids were still running on high adrenal. We had a wonderful time.
Staff was kind, helpful and empathic.
Food was excellent. Get the 16 oz prime rib medium rare and share it with someone.
Dessert was great. Went with coconut cream pie and apple pie a la mode.
The food was good and my server was engaging, however i did have two constructive comments: I ordered a beverage that had a particular alcohol in it. Instead of telling me that it was not available, the bartender created the beverage with something else. This is poor bar etiquette. I know this alcohol, so I should have been advised, so I sent it back. Additionally, this brunch has potential to be a good location for families to dine, but is under-utilized. The management should do a better job to advertise brunch.
Convenient. Food is good. Service was a little slow.
The young hostesses, waiters, and bussers are really responsible, work hard, are focused on their jobs, polite, and friendly. Professional work ethic is quite evident. Tim, my waiter, is exceptional!
Sat at our table for an hour. Never got food. Other tables that came in after us got their food. Paid for our drinks and left
Food was good. Service was friendly but slow. We had an enjoyable evening
The restaurant was lackluster overall. Needed an upgrade as it looks dirty. The table was sticky with maple syrup so it’s not very clean. The coffee was so weak and the food served at breakfast was just edible.
Buffet was horrible. Pancakes were hard as a rock. Eggs were runny and the bacon wasn't cooked

Food was undercooked and tasteless. Very expensive for breakfast. $3 for a cup of coffee!!!

We go for breakfast every Sunday. Always very good food, very good service. What a great find. We will be returning very soon.

I usually try to never comment badly regarding an experience in a restaurant. I am a chef & unfortunately the food was absolutely tasteless & very poor. We have been there on vacation before & the food was good, but this time around, which was for only breakfast, it was a bad experience. I know things are bad in these times, so I truly hope that someone trained can figure out what can be fixed there. It is not very difficult, it just takes commitment & desire. Good luck & I am sorry for such a poor review.

Extremely slow service. We were there for almost two hours. Went for Sunday brunch, the buffet is closed so we ordered from the menu. The restaurant was not at all crowded. Took a very long time to get served even our initial drinks. The waiter was nice and apologetic. The food was good. If you’ve got a lot of time, this is fine.

Dirty cup, dirty cloth napkin, waitress was probably dealing with too many tables and not able to check in on us often. At least she was very friendly and I think doing her best. My wife’s Mac and cheese was cold.

We were a party of 9 who booked the reservation 2 weeks earlier. Arthur's Terrace was not busy upon our arrival. Maybe 10% occupied. Our table was not ready. Our food, which were simple breakfast items, came out very late and in stages. One crab cake meal never came out at all, until everyone was finished and we were leaving 1 1/2 half hours later. This was the WORST dining experience we had in 40+ years!

Went on Easter Sunday. Could only get a 4pm reservation. They were out of both soups and didn’t have the ingredients to fulfill all of the orders (husband ordered beef with mushroom sauce and there was no more sauce) I ordered lamb with mint aioli and received lukewarm lamb with mint jelly. Salad and salad dressing seemed like it was sitting out all day—- limp lettuce and warm blue cheese dressing. Our waiter was good, but there wasn’t much he could do to salvage that meal.

Made reservations at Arthur's Terrace Restaurant for Easter Sunday. All of the staff were welcoming and attentive. The menu was limited although there was a nice selection, except for vegetarian entrees. However, upon request the waitress provided options which worked out well. The food was very good and there were generous portions. No one in my party left room for dessert. The restaurant was clean and all staff were following safety precautions. Would definitely return on my next trip to Lancaster.

No other way to put it, this place was just so bad. The food was on the bleeding edge of unacceptable, and the restaurant was outdated dusty and smelly.
I really hate giving bad reviews, especially when we had a very nice and attentive waiter. But despite management maybe wanting to try for some semblance of quality, it was just awful. I only ever give bad reviews when it’s so bad that I feel an obligation to warn people. This is one of those instances.

Although the service was good, the food quality was very disappointing for a restaurant that wants to provide a 5-star dining experience. Most of the items we ordered for our brunch tasted like they were prepared the night before and then heated up in a microwave before serving. The homefries were nearly burnt and chewy, the pancakes had a thin crust on top and were also chewy, and the sausage had an unusual flavor to it. Only the eggs and bacon seemed to be fresh. Additionally, we asked our server about gluten free options and after checking with the Chef he told us the only option was a pizza. We were a bit surprised that gluten free bread was not an option and the omelets were not gluten free. I've read several responses from the restaurant stating they would review the complaints with the team, but it doesn't appear to be doing any good. Unfortunately, we won't return to Arthur's and won't recommend it to our friends and family.

We visited during brunch hours on Sunday and they were out of several items. Server was friendly but service was very slow.. took almost an hour to get our food. They did comp dessert for the anniversary couple

The food tasted like it was reheated about 4 times and served to us. Took about 30 minutes just to get our drinks. I asked the waiter for a part of my meal that was not given to me. Stated that he would go and get it. I never received it. Also, on the menu it stated we would be getting hash browns. We received our food and got French fries. Will never come here again.
