Street dining is cold
I enjoy a wonderful dinner here. Would recommend to others. The octopus was perfect. The salmon was well cooked.
Favorite quick dinner great value prefix a buy for lunch
So lovely! The manager or owner went above and beyond and our server was great. The food is always delicious.
Arte has set up a really wonderful outdoor space .
Food & service great value .
I eat here often....consistently good food and service.
Went for weekend brunch and was told it wasn’t being offered anymore yet it’s on their site still... disappointed. Update your site
Wonderful food . Very generous portions.
The food is great as always and moderately priced, but they were a little overwhelmed and confused orders. some of the food came out tepid, not hot. You can't beat the location sitting in an outdoor garden, not on the street.
Showed up expecting their brunch menu listed on opentable but we were disappointed to find out that was not an option for Saturday at 12:30. Took 30+ minutes to get our order taken and probably another 30 to get our food. When I finally got my food it was cold.
Disorganized service, waited over an hour for mediocre food! Tables we cleaned after guests with a dirty cloth. Had to as to clean again. They used windex.
Outdoor dining during the pandemic, but all the tables were full on a Friday evening and there were lines waiting for the next one. It's a good idea to reserve in advance. Food ix very good and the service was good too, despite the crowd. We were impressed by the prices and selection, both of which allowed us to depart well-fed and with a manageable final bill. We had never been there in the pre-pandemic era, but would like to try a meal indoors in the future when the dust has settled. We enjoyed our meal there.
Lovely night and great service, with great and affordable prices for the amazing plates. Essential upper west spot!
With lockdown the Back patio is now open too and it made for a great mood with plenty of space between tables!
birthday Staff and food could not have been better
they were very busy so service was a bit lackluster but the host tried to get us a good table and was very pleasant. the food and drink are always reliable.
Excellent outdoor ser-up on quiet street. Food was good except for mediocre pizza.
Always enjoyable, especially when with good friends that we haven’t seen in person in over 8 months!
Nice place with pleasant ambience! Good food very relaxed atmosphere!
Excellent. On-time seating, accommodated our request for a specific table, food came quickly and was delicious, servers and ambiance were great.
Other than the unwanted sidewalk musician, a great experience
We were very happy to dine outside, properly distanced, in the back garden. The front would have been fine, too. The food, especially the salads, was delicious.
They have done a great job setting up a canopy so you can enjoy dinner even if it drizzles Food great value and staff friendly and accommodating.
Arte Cafe has many tables outside now in what seems to be a good anti-Covid set-up.The staff wear masks, the silverware is wrapped, and everything seems very clean. The menu and prices continue to be good. It is a pleasant way to eat out and, yet, feel safe. And they take reservations so no wait and see.
Service could have been better. Waiter got my fiancé’s drink and appetizer order wrong
Great food and great service. I love this restaurant and would recommend to friends.
From the service to the food everything was excellent. We had a table for 4, we sat outside. The waiter was very attentive, the food was delicious. They constantly refilled our water, it as a very humid night. It will become our new favorite spot when we come to NY again.
it was our second time for outdoor dining and this was a very pleasant experience. they followed all of the protocols to keep us safe and it was a lovely spacious space in which to dine. and the service was better than when we dined there many times inside. the waitstaff was a bit more elegant and attentive. perhaps it will continue when times are more normal. and the food was as delicious as ever and with goodly portions too. and a decent wine list. there were plenty of choices on the sparer menu. would have been nice, however, if they had acknowledged my husband's birthday which was mentioned on the reservation and also that the manager came around and greeted the few people who were dining there.
Great food, service very nice but a little slow. Hard to get it right with outdoor dining.
Such a great experience at Arte Cafe. We reserved outdoor dining and were very pleasantly surprised about the back patio seating arrangements. Food was excellent, staff very friendly. Will be returning for another visit very soon!
New resident to the UWS. Great evening for outside dining. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.
Hard to believe, but in the move to outdoor dining Arte Cafe hasn't missed a beat! The outdoor space is beautiful and festively lit, the service is terrific, and the food (slightly more limited menu) is excellent and well-priced. You don't sit with ambulances and bus fumes and it feels very European. The staff and management are focused and convivial. Highly recommend, even during these "challenging times".
Nice curb seating, quiet street, and all tables outside were occupied. Very good food.
Very good food. Nice service.
Outdoor dining by the curb, very good service, felt very comfortable with their cleanliness and service, all employees had masks on, plenty of distance between tables. Food very good as always. Felt great to get out and this restaurant set everything up right.
Not meeting the same quality during Covid that we were used to prior.
We had our wedding reception dinner here one year ago and revisited for an anniversary dinner. Due to the virus, things are different now but our dinner was such a special way to celebrate. They have an attractive outboor covered eating area and the tables are well spaced. Staff was busy but on task. The pasta, beef and seafood were great and the lemon sorbet was yummy! Definitely will be back, hopefully before our next anniversary!
Very slow service. Waiter had his finger in the grated cheese. We said no thanks. Food was good. No bread with dinner.
Second visit in 1 week - returned with girlfriends after having a great experience with my boyfriend. Yummy food, reasonable wine, and great ambiance. Sat out back in the garden the first time, and out front under the tent the second time with out group of 6. Plenty of space so we didn't feel like we were on top of other patrons. Diavola pizza was superb! Everyone in the group enjoyed themselves and said they would return in a heartbeat!
My partner and I haven’t been on a date since the city shut down in March. We also have two daughters and I’ve been blessed to be home with them 24/7 as I am a DOE employee. We live in East Harlem and I personally haven’t been past 86th Street. I was looking a for rooftop dining location but everything was booked and then I came across this little place on West 73rd Street through OpenTable. My partner is iffy about dining in the street, like the actual street, especially he rides his bike to work, so when I saw that Arte had its own storefront patio, I immediately jumped on the opportunity to make a reservation. It was also pretty last minute that we got the night off from the kids, so coming across this little gem was a godsend. We ordered the Lychee Martini and The Old Fashion, omg - delicious. Both drinks was awesome, but that Old Fashion was the best ones I’ve ever had. For appetizers, we ordered the calamari and rice balls - yummy. As entrees, we ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara and the Skirt Steak - very yummy. Those dishes hit the spot. We then ended the evening with cappuccinos. Overall, this place gave us, parents of two who hardly go out, everything we wanted. Also, the place is located off a main avenue, so it was quiet even though every table was full at 9:45pm. Thanks for a wonderful evening.
My first time eating out in NYC since everything started opening again and was so pleasantly surprised to be seated in the back patio of Arte Cafe. Very spacious with a tent and nice lights and bamboo trees blowing in the breeze. Was very relieved to not feel like someone else was right on top of me like some of the new outdoor set ups. Eggplant parm was excellent. Branzino was very small portion with just a few roasted vegetables, a bit overwhelming as an entree for the price. I enjoyed the ambiance so much that I will return with 5 friends for dinner this week!
