Argentinean
Travel back in time to Argentina’s Golden Age – when Buenos Aires was booming with tango salons, nightlife, restaurants and opera houses. The cityscape was decorated with magnificent art nouveau and neo-classical architecture. The best bartenders from all over the world traveled south to the roaring saloons and nightclubs.
Experience the aura of the Golden Age through our décor: a blend of wooden bodegas, raw and recycled materials, marble, copper, and stone and concrete like the porteño streets. Metallic adornments and the hand-painted antique tin ceiling give a hint of Golden era glamour.
Artango's food goes back to Argentine roots, without compromising a contemporary touch. Local, fresh ingredients are used to create rustic, flavorful dishes. Try the best steaks in town using ancestral Argentine techniques. Enjoy a full bar with prohibition-era inspired cocktails, and a selection of classic and rare wines from Europe to Argentina.

Love this place! Always so fun and festive. We've been a few times before, but this time we came for Mother's Day brunch. The food was great as always. My only complaint was that the prix-fixe option for kids was $25 - which seemed a bit absurd. My daughter ordered the french toast, and it was literally 2 half pieces of toast.... so $25 felt a little steep.

I looked forward to trying Artango and was happy we finally did. The ceviches were made of fresh fish and the empanadas were warm and well baked. My wife and daughter split a paella, my son had the rib-eye steak, his girlfriend had the lamb patagonico with polenta, and I had the slow-grilled short ribs. The meats were cooked to perfection. The portions were generous and we all left very satisfied. We left enough room for desserts as well. The Oblivion is excellent if you’re a chocolate lover and the flan and milhojas were also excellent. We had a great time!

We went for their Cinco de Mayo specials, with the live Spanish guitar player in the afternoon. This was such a lovely experience, and I can't wait to come back for dinner!

The food and drinks were outstanding. All the flavors mixed really well together in each dish. On Fridays they have a Tango Dancing Show and it was fabulous.

Food is good, but for the portion the price wasn't matching. 2 ppl in our party had the same dish and both were missing a main [filling] ingredient. One dish had the whole middle of the Chicken milanesa, Raw. Service was bad. Asked for straw when water was served, never came. Someone in our party ordered a mimosa, Never came. Some orders were wrong or waiting too long for one. Waiter check-in with us [party of 8] three times in a matter of 2 hrs.

We visited this place many times, my ceviche crudo was excellent, same for the mushroom with tomato and cheese. I had the fish of the day, branzino, whole fish, very tasteful, but the skin was on the top with the sauce over the skin, make more sense the other way, since you don't eat the skin. Wife got the beef, was very good. Nice bottle of Malbec. The Quitarra Azull show and the flamenco performance were awsome.
Overall, a beautiful night, will go back.

The server kept rushing us and didn’t even introduce himself. This was our first time there and we had to constantly keep asking questions about the menu. For the price, I expected the service to be a little more personal. He didn’t even look at us, he was more concerned about the iPad than the food we were ordering off the menu.

I celebrated my birthday at Artango and overall had a great experience. It was my first time there and the Food was delicious (though a little pricey) live band was great! My only complaint was that we couldn’t split the check. I had a party of 21 and the paying/receipt process was a nightmare, which was very frustrating.

Great restaurant! The empanadas and ceviche were quite good. Steaks were cooked perfectly, and we loved the spicy chimichurri. Wine was excellent as was the tres leches soufflé. We also enjoyed the music and dancing on stage! Overall, we would highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

It was a birthday. The "soft" ribs were burned on the outside, raw on the inside and hard. The menu had grilled chicken and we received chicken with sauce which was not bored in the menu. They did let us being our own cake. Staff was nice. Empanada were not fully cooked and dry meat inside almost without seasoning. Overpriced for the quality of food.

The only redeeming feature of this restaurant was the European Cabernet. Our server was not attentive, ignored us, and just walked away as we were speaking. The steaks were terrible and very chewy. We ordered the charred brussel sprouts and they tasted plain and the plating and presentation was super basic.

Very nice restaurant. The server could have been friendlier but still very attentive-which was nice. In my opinion, the food was overpriced and the portions were small for some plates. We noticed the steaks were really chewy and hard to cut even though we ordered it medium. The paella, ceviche, and empanadas were delicious! All in all, you're better off going to Tango Sur (where the portions are huge and the steaks are half the price)

I and the wife had been here on a Saturday night to celebrate her birthday and had a good time overall !
Seating: we had a table reservation and were seated fairly quickly, just a moderate 10 minutes wait, the hostess seemed a tad flustered though however we got our table soon although 2 couples who arrived after us were seated first, but that wasn’t a big issue as I know this tends to happen at times

Food & Drink: our bottle of wine took a little while to arrive and when it did the glasses were missing, but arrived few minutes later
For starters, we had the shrimp ceviche which was spot on and the grilled portables mushrooms were quite nice too
Mains: we ordered the ‘sharing steak platter which had the flank steak, short ribs and 2 kinds of sausage - chorizo and morcilla, the last one was a little too salty for our taste
Dessert: none ! we were quite full at this point, so focused on the Malbec and the entertainment on stage.
Entertainment: live band with a quasi flamenco to boot- the band was quite good and so was the young dancer, who put on a good performance with her graceful hand movements and flamenco style movements- having experienced the authentic flamenco in Seville and Sitges, this was more of artistic, graceful movements compared to the fiery real deal.
Overall, great evening, highly recommend Artango for an entertaining evening out !

I made the reservation over a week in advance. Upon arrival we waited 10 minutes while there were many open tables. Then we were seated next to the front door. Every time the door opens we froze. We asked to be moved and were seated next to the kitchen door. We accepted it as we were close to the stage. The waiter was hard to understand with all the kitchen and restaurant noise. He never smiled and seemed upset. The food was great but quite $$$ . The entertainment was excellent!

Overall, was not impressed. The food was mediocre and did not live up to the price tag. I have experienced South American grilled meats traditions (Brazilian, Argentinian, etc.), and this place did not live up to the title of Argentinian Steakhouse. We will not be going again. I understand some patrons enjoy the Tango dancing - which looked entertaining, but is extremely loud - so beware before making your reservation. We were just leaving as the Tango night festivities began. Again the food was tasteless but cooked well. The polenta looks and tastes like quick grits that your grandma can make in a pinch. Just not a place for me.
