The restaurant was a little short handed for a busy Sunday morning. Took awhile to get refills on coffee. The food was very good. My eggs were cooked perfectly and the turkey bacon was delicious. They only gave you one piece of toast with breakfast which seemed a bit chintzy.

I took my wife here for her birthday and it was a great choice. We arrived on time for our reservations and were immediately seated. They even accomidated us for my daughter. The food was great. There was a mix up in the kitchen for our appetizers but they took care of us and we didn't pay for ththe appetizers. The steak was done exactly how i like it. Overall great experience.

We stayed at a hotel around the corner from here and came here for breakfast and drinks at the bar and had great experiences at both. Breakfast was excellent, great atmosphere and service! Great beer selection at the bar and the deviled crab dip was delicious!

My wife and I visited Art & Soul for brunch on Sunday. I had the Chicken and Waffles and my wife had the BLT Benedict. While the chicken was tasty, I found the waffle to be dense and chewy. The BLT Benedict just didn't work. The biscuit was dry, the tomato jam was basically ketchup and I wonder if there was a shortage of Hollandaise sauce in the kitchen because their sure was on the plate. I'm kind of shocked that a restaurant with food like this could last in DC. Also I probably wouldn't order a $5 coke if I'd known the price ahead of time. However the ambiance was nice and the server was attentive.

Every time we are in Washington we book a hotel next to this restraunt cause we eat here every time. My husband and son love the different foods they have. My husband thought the lobster bisque was ok but not great. I believe he had a rabbit pot pie which he loved. I'm a picky eater and they always make some kind of grilled chicken salad for me. Totally different both times and they were really good. We have all had the fried chicken before which is awesome. My son had some pasta meal this time which he liked. They have really nice and professional wait staff. Can't wait for our next trip.

We took a co-worker to Art & Soul for his retirement party. When we arrived, the hostess wished him well wishes on his retirement and even served him a complimentary cocktail. My co-worker was very surprised and happy for the attention and well-wishes.
