Arrowhead Grill Ratings and Reviews
We had a great dinner at AG, steak/food was amazing as usual, but what impressed us most was the knowledge and service provided by Jerry. He was personable, attentive but not overly attentive, polite, thoughtfully answered all questions we threw is way. After asking for the score once, he made it a point give us periodic updates on the football game that was playing in the bar. You could tell he took pride in his job, and wanted to make sure we were having a great experience. Would highly recommend.
We have been coming to Arrowhead Grill since it opened a few years ago. It has never disappointed us and if anything has only improved as it matures. The food, whether steak, lamb, or seafood has been well prepared and tasteful. The ambiance is mature, and the service impeccable.
We are very fortunate to have such a fine restaurant so close to home.
Impeccable. We were greeted upon arrival and told our reserved table would be ready shortly (We arrived 15 minutes early). We were seated promptly and our server arrived within a minute or two of seating to provide water, explain the menu, and take drink orders. He was very professional, courteous, and attentive. We ordered the King Crab Legs and the Shrimp Cocktail as appetizers. We were provided bread and butter shortly after ordering (it was good) and our appetizers arrived after a short wait. The presentation was fantastic and they tasted even better than they looked. A+ on both. Our entrees arrived a few minutes later, I had the Filet Mignon and my wife had the Wild Salmon, both were prepared exactly as ordered and were delicious. The sides were also fantastic, I had the Mushrooms and Caramelized Sweet Onions, she had the Sauteed Brussels Sprouts. Overall we were delighted with our experience at the Arrowhead Grill and we will be back!
As always the arrowhead grill is our favorite place because we do it for our anniversary. We are never dissatisfied with this restaurant and the service by far is always on the top of their game. We had Jerry as our waiter and he was superb on how he took care of us.
We have gone to AG for years and once again, the food did not disappoint. We started with some pig wings ( not on the dinner menu, but available from the bar so you can order), a wedge, caeser salad, and seasonal salad, then moved on to Delmonico steaks, asparagus, and French fry trio, and ended with butter cake and stuffed tummies. The one thing we noticed at this visit was the timing for bringing food seemed off. We had to request, and wait, for bread. We were still eating salads when the steaks arrived. They tried to take salads while we were still eating, put down our steaks, then brought out steak knives. We only recognized two of the servers ( yes, we do go enough to recognize), so maybe it is a newer staff. Won’t keep us from going back, and hoping this was just a little Friday night glitch. Don’t let this keep you from going, you won’t regret the dining experience!
I had a 22 oz. Prime Rib, and must say it was the best, big cut of Prime Rib that I have ever had. It was perfectly medium rare/medium throughout as requested. We have been there multiple times, and it is our go to place for a premium meal. The service is always 1st rate as well.
Superb service, beautiful cocktails, and delicious food. It is an expensive night if you choose all of the accoutrements, but you could have a full, satisfying meal for a reasonable price. We went as a family to celebrate New Year's Eve and we were all pleased and very full when we left. BTW, the key lime pie is exceptional!
Our regular place for great dining. Service is always friendly, courteous, and efficient. The bone-in filet I had was cooked to perfection and my spouse loved her life lobster 👍. I highly recommend this restaurant and have taken family members here because we live it so much👏👏
New to the area and tried this venue as it was rated pretty high. Although we are experienced diners, what we found was an overpriced menu with really poor food for what you expected a fine dining establishment to have. We tried the house specialty - the Delmonico steak which we not good - although prepared to our liking the food was extremely salty and season ruining the flavor of the steak. Also tried the AG Potato's another house specialty, which again over seasoned -- full of garlic - over full of garlic. Now to the defense of the venue we did ask for a garlic mashed, but usually when one does that they get a little hint of garlic -- here is was like a bottle of liquid garlic was poured into the entree. Will not be visiting here again. Would not recommend..
Our Anniversary dinner was very romantic with 5 Star food and service. Todd was and excellent waiter and very knowledgeable of the menu.
Todd did more than expected to make our anniversary special.
Thank you to the chef for preparing a 5 Star dinner for us.
We go to AG mostly for special occasions or when our kids and grandkids are in town so the guys can get a phenomenal steak. The gals are happy with vegan/vegetarian choices and the awesome fish selections which are prepared to order from various techniques that are included on the menu. We have decided that in 2018 we are going to go more often, and maybe just sit in the bar, and eat soup and salad. Our fave appetizer, “tempura” green beans from the bar, is a big hit with our kids and grandkids and a good way to get a veggie in the granddaughters. My fave fish is the sea bass and the salmon. Any steak on the menu will nearly melt in your mouth!
My beautiful wife and me dine there 4-5 times a year. It is a great place to eat locally instead of driving to Phoenix or Scottsdale. The portions are just right and honestly I prefer it to a Ruth Chris or the Capital Grill. Our waitress, Jessica was delightful ((as always) and could not have
been any better. The Delmonico steak was cooked perfectly loved those scallops and the ala-gratin potatoes and mushrooms mixed in with carmelized onions were absolutely delicious along with my appetizer of Brussel sprouts with added goodies. A refreshing James Bond style whiskey sours topped off the meal. My spouse had the Delmonico, as well, with a side of creamed corn and iced tea to drink. The butter cake topped with ice cream. A meal fit for my birthday celebration.
First time here and celebrating a birthday. .Nice menu with their special steaks which is their focus, also nice fish choices, whole chicken, salads, soups and good apps. Calamari with baby corn and banana pepper, citrus vinagerette was very good. Chillean Sea bass, tender juicy well cooked. Rack of lamb had 8 crowns, cooked a perfect medium rare. Sides chosen were sautéed asparagus in garlic, perfect cook and tasty, twice baked mash with bacon and cheese in a skillet very good and both are good to share. About 20 sides to choose from. And a nice birthday treat for dessert was their Signature butter cake with chocolate drizzle and a great vanilla ice cream. Welcoming. We were seated on time with our reservation. Ronnie B our server explained all dishes thoroughly. Have to say the noise level was high, but it is holiday time. The lighting is low, booths and tables. Next time would prefer to sit in an area away from the staff service area and the kitchen, not as loud in the middle of the room. It is an open room. Outdoor patio nice, had the fire heaters going and probably have chillers too for the summer. Bar area nice. This is a fast paced place. Orders come fairly quick, we prefer a bit slower paced to enjoy a meal of this type, however Ronnie did sense that and gave us some time. The price which is a higher end is comparable for their dishes and dining. Overall ,yes we would return. they are busy so make that reservation.
Food was great, but for a special occasion the atmosphere was disappointing, to say the least. For a nice steakhouse, I was surprised and disappointed to see the clothes people were wearing - does anyone have self-respect any more? T-shirts and jeans are for Applebees, Chili’s, Red Lobster, and TGI Fridays. Please go there if you can’t put on a halfway decent set of clothes!
