Arrowhead Grill Ratings and Reviews
After a short time in the bar, we took our table exactly at our reservation time. Our server, Ronnie, did a commendable job. Our water & food were a little slow to arrive, but the restaurant was quite busy & we were not in a hurry. Ronnie recommended a nice reasonably priced red wine for us & told us about the specials, which all sounded delightful. Between our two couples, we ordered 2 large salads-one spinach & one house, 2 entrees-one 8 oz filet & one blackened char, 1 appetizer-the crab cake, 2 sides-one loaded baked potato & one mac n cheese, and 1 dessert-the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. This was more than enough food, but it was so good, we ate every bite. We had an excellent time & a delicious meal. Not inexpensive but worth it in quality.
My first time at Arrowhead Grill was very nice. We realized we would be about 30 minutes late for a reservation and they worked with us to change it on a busy night. We were seated at a table but preferred a booth, and when one opened up they let us move. The atmosphere was nice but not extraordinary. But the food and the service were equally outstanding. Our waiter Jerry set the standard for all serving staff: great attitude, thorough knowledge of the menu, wine list, specials, etc., and very attentive without hovering. We had one of the specials, a sort of glorified pork chop. Might not sound special but it was amazing. Jerry said it was the best pork chop we would ever have, and he was right. Also ordered a Louisiana style salmon & shrimp dish which was also very good. I will be back to Arrowhead Grill, soon I hope!
Bad lighting, too bright for an evening meal and was told the lights could not be dimmed nor could we relocate to different table. Asked for a romantic table but got seated next to a large table of really loud guests. No tablecloths. Server was prompt but rude and making rude comments to his coworker about another guest.
We may not go back ever
I would like to start off saying this was our third time at Arrowhead Grill and it is always a pleasure. This review is a little different from others as we had just sat at the table, ordered a few drinks, food and enjoying the mood. I then received a phone call that my parents were just in bad car accident. Quickly I saw the manager and asked him to cancel the food order and tried to pay for our drinks in which he told us to go ahead and he would take care of the drinks. I really want to say Thank You to this gentleman and you better believe we will be returning for dinner soon. Thanks again, the Duhigg family.
After many great meals and great service over the years this meal was spoiled.
My husband ordered the Swordfish (one of his favorites) and asked that it be "cooked through"
After the first forkful it was clear that the fish was very rare and uncooked on the inside.
This created the problem of having to send it back to the kitchen.
We patiently waited but when it still hadn't come back in 10 minutes I had to start eating without him or eat cold steak.
The Owner/Mgr appologized, however it took an excessively long time before he returned with the properly cook Swordfish while he sat there picking on the potatoes and sipping his wine.
This interruption ruined a good (and expensive) meal and something I don't expect from the Arrowhead Grill.
This is our second time at Arrowhead Grill for Thanksgiving and it never fails to impress and make for an enjoyable holiday. The dessert was a surprise, I booked the dinner in advance and forgot that the restaurant lets you personalize a written message in chocolate on the plate- Awesome experience again!! And like any fabulous Thanksgiving meal, we had leftovers to bring home-
Food quality has gone down and the prices have gone way up. We used to love this restaurant. We celebrated a birthday there as we have celebrated other events there in the past. We won’t be going back I am very sad to say. The changes have not been positive there. Our waiter was OK but all of the staff seem to be just doing their job. There was no warmth or feeling of welcome as there has been in the past as well
