Owner and managing partner, Monica Saxena, envisioned aRoqa to be a celebration of diversity and culture, merging Indian flavors with a global palate and cocktail culture. aRoqa’s menu unites diverse flavors inspired by its name: in India, a “roka” ceremony is where friends and family come together to enjoy the engagement of a couple and celebrate by sharing a meal.
At aRoqa, Chef Manni and head mixologist Prasad have created a unique marriage of cuisine and cocktails in a chic, sophisticated setting, to create an elevated experience, focusing on small plates with Indian flavors.

The staff went above and beyond once we arrived, late. We gave them a heads up and our reservation was held. The entire staff worked to get us out in an hour, without our feeling rushed, enabling us to see our show. Their recommendations were spot on. Looking forward to returning when we are not rushed.
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly. Max our bartender was terrific and the cocktail menu outstanding. Thanks Max for a great cocktail. The food was also amazing and delicious! Will definitely be back.
Food was ok but do not understand how the restaurant was able to get a Michelin star. Lack of flavours.
Definitely a step above good Indian Restaurants. Very nice atmosphere. Cozy feeling. Excellent food presentation and the food was well spiced.
Michelin level food for normal prices. Highly recommend
Amazing set of dishes and cocktails!
Re-engagement is definitely one of the best cocktails around. Bhatti Murg chops and Kataifi Mushrooms are must haves.
The only thing to bear in mind is that the portions are very small
Would be good if they cater towards sitdown and mix of counter top.
Otherwise food was good, ambience is decent maybe good for quiet dinner
The place and the food is really good. Very Fancy and delicious.
Dinner is better than brunch.
The Chicken Tikka Masala outstanding, great service and great atmosphere, highly recommend this place.
The restaurant was delightful. My friend Michael and I had a splendid time. The owner Monica was most welcoming and Sam, our server, was helpful and honest about our choices. Would come again in a heartbeat.
Poor quality of Indian Food .
Habanero spiced chicken Tikka - too try and burnt on top , hardly you get the flavor of habanero -
Dry Pepper Fry - expected to be better being an Michelin star rated place
Chicken biryani - the rice should be fluffy in biryani but the once served was too most like almost saucy -- very disappointed
The food, tastes, and all were amazing.
The service was fabulous.
But the music/noise level is way too loud.
It was a great moment!
Great food, great service. Food came fast, and staff were very attentive. Was a great first experience.
The small plates were better than the main plates, but are expensive for essentially one bit per person. The shared plates were disappointing - having had many good meals in Indian restaurants, these were neither generous nor interesting. They were okay but nothing I'd go out of my way for. The prices are very high for what it is.
Everything was delicious! Requested spicy and it was the perfect amount of heat. Loved the mocktail menu too. Our server was so sweet and on top of things. Can’t wait to go back!!
The food was good. Service felt a little rushed because of time-limited reservations. Even though we had an hour left in our time slot, our server seemed to be rushing the dining experience.
Birthday lunch. Was very nice experience !
We were a party of 4 with 2 vegetarians and one gluten free everyone found plenary to eat and loved everything. We all splurged on desserts which were also wonderful.
Food was very good. Surprised there were not more vegan options (only one appetizer and two entrees). The rice crisp appetizer was outstanding. Staff was very friendly. We were seated next to a group of people who very boisterous and it made it hard to hear what my friend was saying at times (Not the restaurant's fault). There was an energetic, loud vibe in the restaurant, which is not my thing and atypical for Indian restaurants I've been to before, which is why I gave it 4 stars. It's just a matter of taste.
Could serve larger portions- The sole fish and rice was- way to little for the price- the rice was about 4 tablespoons, the fish looked like a quarter of the flesh of the entire fish was placed on my plate and another quarter on my friend’s own!
Very average food for the prices charged. Food came out so fast that it seemed liked pre cooked and heated.
We had a family Diwali dinner
Went for Diwali with my family and had a lovely time!
Great upscale Indian food. Fantastic flavors. Fun drinks, relaxed vibe.
The chicken tikka masala is AMAZING
Amazing food great service, drinks on 100! Definitely recommend for a special night
Excellent experience for our family where we celebrated a birthday and it became a wonderful memory for all of us.
Despite the long list on the menu we came out very satisfied but not bloated.
The chef has put her/his heart into every detail in the food, ingredients and spices and it is made so tender and soft that everything melts in your mouth.
I am sharing what we ordered - the appetizers, breads, main course, rice, drinks and desserts were exquisite and definitely lived up to the Michelin Star experience.
Our hostess was excellent and she made us feel at home.
The ambiance of the restaurant was wonderful, light music not so loud, subtle lighting to match the food - wonderful!!
We also ordered a take out !
Habanero chicken tikka
Bhatti murg chop
Dry pepper prawns
aRoqa Lamb chops
Main course (with rice)
Chicken tikka masala
Butternut squash kofte
Rose Pudding with Gulab Jamun
aRoqa Daulat ki Chaat
We took our daughter to aRoqa for her birthday. It was a great experience all around. The food was delicious and interesting, more than just the traditional Indian fare. The service was attentive and cheerful--much appreciated in this still-difficult time for dining out.
Rushing the order telling we can't make drinks in the menu.
The end was very rushed. The table was cleared before food was finished and the check presented a though tables next to us were empty and we did not sit longer than an hour. Not a fan of all black walls but that is a personal preference.
Delicious food! Always great service.
If you're looking for an authentic Indian food, this isn't the place.
The food is excellent. Highlights for us were the small plate cauliflower dish and the chicken entrees. The chicken fritter small plate was a disappointment: dry and kind of tasteless. I would love to give a fully enthusiastic review to this restaurant, but the value is simply not very good. For example, while truly delicious, the $15 cauliflower dish consists of 4 small pieces of cauliflower, weirdly served in the bed of a toy truck, which seems to mostly be there to distract you from how little food is being served. I understand that restaurants have had a tough time during Covid, but I don’t mind paying a little more, but please serve me a reasonable amount for the money I’m spending.
Slow service solely due to seating placement. Seemed waitstaff forgot about our table because we were seated outside. Food was decent
Great food and service. Fun and interesting cocktails.
I was a bit surprised to have to fill out a lengthy COVID disclaimer form without any prior notification -at time of booking- of this fact and and of the content of this questionnaire, which reaches far beyond the current state and national guidelines.
The food and service were excellent.
The price felt high for the low amount of protein included per dish and the atmosphere was a bit loud, the lights bright, so less suited foe a romantic dinner than I had hoped...
Over hyped, over expensive, mediocre food. Too noisy.. cramped up. Dont go by the photos, its a very small place.
Food was so mediocre, pretty meh!
Not worth it
Great food. Friendly service. A good time was had by all.
The food was incredible and the staff was so nice! Great experience
