It was our first time at Aromas Del Peru. We had the Ceviche (three ways) for appetizer, and it was delicious. The Seco de Cabrito was also delicious. Thanks to Medalith for taking great care of us.

Very nice setting and ambiance. Hi end service and very friendly staff. The food food portion were ample and proffesionaly prepared. Will surely return, although menu was not ample and could have had more seafood variety entrees. A bit pricey but the service and food is worth it.

We had tried this place once before and had a good impression.Going back , we found service was kind but spotty (a waitress even poured water in Tequila shot, just laughing it off...) the trio ceviche was $42 while all 3 fish were raw (not marinated long enough), goat meat entree was really rubbery, saltamo had 3 tomes more fries than chicken...only Pisco sour cocktails are delicious.All in sll, this joint doesn't warrant theses prices...they will not last if they don't reduce prices AND deliver higher quality, esp. in that location.

I always get the anticuchos here, and the pisco sours are great. You want a reservation, even off-season, and you want an indoor seat; most of the outdoor tables are extremely windy due to the surrounding buildings.

Outstanding meal and very attentive service. Our octopus and ceviche appetizers were super. Main course too. Inside was very loud so we opted for outdoor which was pleasant because it had rained earlier. The $10 charge for a bottle of San Pellegrino seemed excessive. All other prices were reasonable.

We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! Delicious food, great service, warm ambiance. I had the mussels - excellent flavors. Next was the Seafood dish - savory. Yucca fries are prepared perfectly. We cannot wait to go back.

The food was excellent, but the service was very lacking. imho It was also expensive for what it was - $125 for an appetizer , entree, two drinks, and a bottle of water. This included an automatic 18% service charge - which the server DID point out was already included - unlike some other places I’ve been to when they’ve neglected to mention it. I’d probably go back, but not order the special drink.

This is a gem. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. We all had three different meals and everyone was enthusiastic about their meal. The Chupe de Camarones was one of the best I have had. The options on Ceviche were also great to choose from, Traditional with hot pepper sauce on the side was the ticket. We sat outside so there was some noise coming from cars, but the breeze from the sea on that day made it perfect to be outside. The servers were very a attentive and prompt. This is a must try if you like Peruvian food.

We've been here many times and food has always been good. This time we brought our niece who really enjoys Peruvian food. It was a real disappointment. My husband and I ordered Lomo Saltado and a Seafood Chaufa to share. The Lomo was tough and overcooked. It didn't taste freshly cooked, it seemed like it had been reheated. The Chaufa was very greasy and it had very little seafood, it was mainly calamari and only 2 pieces of shrimp. We complained and they didn't do anything about it. My niece ordered the churrasco and it was too raw. I was little embarrassed with my niece since I made a big deal about how great the restaurant was. We'll try to give it another chance.

Outstanding! Location was great, ambience cozy but energetic, comfy seating in corner booth with pillows. Service was terrific and she explained all of the items to us as we weren't familiar with Peruvian fare. Ceviche was terrific and lamb stew and Chaufa Chef were just wonderful and delicious. Great meal and place all around and highly recommend!

Celebrated with family members my daughter’s graduation everything was perfect. From the waiter to the food awesome. Delicious real Peruvian dishes and the service excellent the bar tender really knows how to prepare drink amazing espresso martini also pisco. Try this place you will not regret. Amazing

Spectacular. What an amazing Peruvian cuisine. Every turning was done to perfection. The taste of Peru and the “aromas” wow. They let you in the Peruvian culture with harmony and elegance. The “Camino” has everything to start. The rice “chaifa”from the chef is simply superb. The ceviche incredible. The solomo saltado is outstanding. Try the Chicha morada to drink. And for wines the Malbec from “aromas”.

We have two dearest friends visiting from New Jersey. We told them a lot about your great restaurant and finally we went together today for lunch. The food was really good as usual. But the service was extremely bad. Our server ( Manuello?)was not attentive at all. He never asked if everything was ok, he never refreshed our water and never asked if we want a second round of drinks ( which we wanted but because of such a neglectful attitude we decided to have it in some other place). He even didn’t tell us about dessert! Very sorry for our friends who were disappointed. The server automatically included 18% tips to our bill, which our friends just reduced to 10% out of curtesy to the chef.

I wish there was a higher recommendation than 5 stars….this place would be it! We have been to Peru (which is why we chose this restaurant) and it exceeded our expectations. We went w the waitress’ recommendation for an appetizer (the grill: octopus, shrimp, and veal hearts w corn and cheese) and had salmon, bronzino, and shrimp soup. It was an incredible meal. Portions were large (so unfortunately no desert for us…they looked really great). Diana (sp?) took amazing care of us and her recommendations were excellent. Would highly recommend this as a place to try for something really special

The staff is very nice, but I shouldn’t have to wait to get silverware to eat my food that serve to me, or for my water glass to be filled. I thought the special entrée that we got that was a Tower with a service G on the bottom and hot food on top, for $90 Was not a very good value. It was mainly rice, and not a lot of seafood. But I was extremely disappointed at the grilled octopus. It was two small pieces of octopus, that was $28. I cannot believe how expensive that was for such a small amount of octopus. We get a grilled octopus all the time and I’ve never paid so much for so little food before. I know restaurants are having food cost issues, but if you’re going to charge that money, the food has to be better portions, and served hot and of course silverware should be on the tables. Put the food overall was good and I will go back again. But I would not order that octopus ever again.

The Causas appetizer was delicious but also had a much stronger taste than I remember from previous visits. This time I had the paella which is packed with delicious seafood and flavorful rice….could use a little less salt but was totally enjoyable and I highly recommend. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the portion of salmon and veggies was abundant. The house salad was delicious however it was delivered minutes after the entree and the waitress left too quickly for me to cancel it. The chocolate cake desert was delicious and the tres leche was as expected. Both were enough to split 4 ways after having such a ginormous dinner.
