Arnold's Bar and Grill
Food was excellent and service was great
Great place to enjoy music, affordable food in a brick courtyard reminiscent of a European eatery. I especially love hearing the Phillip Paul Trio on Thursday evenings and really appreciate all of the gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options. Arnold's is an iconic, historic restaurant in a very safe and easy to reach part of downtown Cincinnati.
What a perfect start to our evening! We didn’t worry about getting to the theatre on time because the service was superb!
Hasn't changed much in a lot of years which is a good thing. Will definitely go back.
Ate there before a show and service was quick, attentive and accurate. Food was great - had the fried green tomato BLT and it was just as expected - tangy tomatoes, big crispy bacon and a fabulous aioli sauce on toasted sour dough bread. mMy mouth waters as I write about it!
Lively bar atmosphere.....Live music.....Excellent burgers, fries and fried green tomatoes.
Great the yo mama burger was delicious and Cincinnati pigs band toped off the meal. Very fun !!!
Wonderful. Sat in the courtyard, service was great, food was wonderful. Excellent evening
Great meal. Food was delicious. Service was outstanding
Fun for a group outing! Live music
We visited on a Saturday night and sat outside. The noise level was so high we could not have a conversation.
Great time on the patio!
Great food, really great service. The waiter, John, had great recommendations and was very helpful with a large group! Thanks Arnold's! I've already recommended it to people.
A Cincinnati treasure. Unique. Consistently good. Can serve many roles - work lunch, happy hour, family dinner, late night live music.
Nice evening, almost too warm outside. Very good service
The food was very good, but the area was crowded, and the seating was quite uncomfortable. I wouldn't discourage someone from going to see for themselves, but I wouldn't really recommend it.
We always try to visit Arnold’s when we are in Cincinnati. It has a unique menu with an excellent and enthusiastic staff that always make us feel welcome.
This was our first visit to Arnold’s and we felt like we had cheated ourselves all these years! It was our best deal of Restaurant Week. We thoroughly enjoyed all three courses and our drink that was part of the package. My wife tried the breaded chicken entree, and I had the salmon. All the courses were well prepared, well presented, and very tasty! A nice eating spot to have a good meal.
We absolutely loved this place. Great dinner we sat outside on the patio, live music, will be back!
Siblings night out
Great food, service, and atmosphere. Easy walk to the Taft afterwards for a concert. Easy street parking between restaurant and theatre.
Everything was good...the only issue was when we arrived they didn't have a table. Luckily she had two to push together but it's odd that you make a reservation they seem startled that you came?
Great place for sharing food
Amazing outdoor patio, great music, great drinks. Fried green tomato BLT was superb.
Arnold’s is always great! We. One every year for my birthday and a couple of times during the rest of the year, too. Greek Spaghetti is wonderful!
For a casual, low key place with a historic ambiance this place is great. The food is simple, straightforward food that will satisfy. For those on a gluten-free diet, the wait staff and servers have an excellent understanding on what is gluten free and how to safely prepare it. The gluten free burger buns are the best I’ve ever had. I wish I could get them in Chicago!
This was my first visit to Arnold's. 6pm on a Tuesday. Parking spot right out front. Food was good. Service was good. Live music was fantastic (Diamond Jim Dews)! Glad I went. Will definitely go again.
Great experience, great food! We enjoyed our server, music was good, burgers were even better!
Had a wonderful dinner
The food was exceptional! Many amazing gluten free options that actually taste top tier!
The service and ambiance are incredible, with live music and great recommendations.
Had dinner here before seeing a show at the Aronoff. Good place to go for a quick dinner close to the Aronoff
Jazz night at Arnold’s... amazing. Food and drinks, always amazing and top notch. One of our favorite places in Cincinnati!
We couldn’t get a waiter at first. But we flagged one down for a drink order. They were very accommodating because I asked for a quiet table inside, but we changed our mind and they seated us outside. The food was very good.
Great night! Had first time visitors from CA...they loved it and bonus Krystal Peterson performed!!! Thank you!
Went with children ages 10 and 11. They thought the place was "too crowded" as the tables don't give much room to get around. We sat "outside" in the garden area which was comfortable for a cool night. We didn't stay long enough for the music. Limited kids menu but food was good all around.
We were seated in the covered courtyard and had to leave before the live music began, but we enjoyed the friendly service, delicious food and unique surroundings.
Definitely a Dining Gem in the Queen City's Crown!
Outstanding service. Delicious, fresh food. Live music by local jazz band. Superb ambience.
Good burger, delicious beet salad with perfectly cooked salmon! Friendly efficient server. Noticed that entire staff pitched in to get drinks etc when it got suddenly very busy. Delightfully quirky ambiance of the old tavern garden. Had to leave before the music started but made our play performance start time with no difficulty. Will definitely return some evening to enjoy the music.
