Food was amazing, staff was super-helpful, felt very welcome and the owner came over to check on us too!
Very nice place and so nice people!! The food was very good!
Poor food, staff are nice it’s just stuck in time.
Pre theatre dinner. Bread and butter was best part. Pasta was just ok. Service was terrific though. Very attentive.
A lovely restaurant for an italian restaurant nearby our hotel after a long day in NYC.
As always, Arno does not disappoint. Beautiful setting, excellent food and service!!!!
The entire experience at Arno was amazing. It reminded us of the excellent service we used to get at various restaurants on Long Island back in the 80’s (sadly, that level of service is not commonplace anymore).
The food, the ambiance, and the service was simply top shelf!!! I look forward to returning during our next visit to NYC!
Bravo and well done, Arno!
Everything about this place was fantastic, from the service to the food to the atmosphere. We went twice during our trip, it was that good. Highly, highly recommend.
The food and service was excellent! The swordfish was the best! From appetizer to dessert the food was beautifully presented and tastefully done. Great!
Stopped in while on a bus tour to NYC. First time at Arno. They made us feel very welcome and the service, drinks, and food were very good. You could forget you’re in the middle of the city. This would be a great place for many different occasions from causal to date night.
None of these waiters or staff are wearing masks. They didn’t check or vaccine records.
great food and service, great ambiance and energy
Christmas family dinner - everything was fantastic.
We were looking for a place to go before we went to Broadway. The staff is all very friendly and warm. We didn’t feel rushed at all. Everything was delicious starting from the bread basket. We had baked clams, pasta, GF pasta, chicken and fish. We felt for the city this place was well priced. I would go there again the next time we head to NYC.
Amazing food. Can’t say enough about their pasta dishes. Especially the seafood pasta. We loved every part of the meal.
Nothing bad to say! Perfect little Italian place in NYC where everything is reasonable.
The service and the food were exceptional. It felt great to return to Arno's after all these months. We always enjoy our dinners at Arno.
Not just for carnivores! There were three choices of vegetarian soup!!! Goldmine!
Always a great experience !
Wonderful service and awesome Italian !
Excellent service, food and drinks.
I definitely recommend
Food and service both excellent in a sophisticated atmosphere. Location convenient to many theatres. Highly recommended.
Great service and great food. They checked vaccine cards before letting anyone in which made us feel safer. Servers were top notch.
A very nice experience with friendly attentive waiters. My only complaint is that I hate rock hard cold butter! Much prefer room temperature butter or olive oil.
Always a fabulous dining experience at a great Italian place in Midtown Manhattan!!
Food and service were excellent. I saw some other bad reviews, and I have no idea why. I had the aged sirloin steak, and it was incredible (huge too! I had leftovers for 2 days). We went for a business meal, and I would definitely go back.
This restaurant never disappoints.
Never heard of this restaurant prior to seeing it on OpenTable. Was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent. Lively festive atmosphere. The service was great too. Will definitely return.
Food and were outstanding!
The veal and the chicken dishes absolutely delicious
Food was great except for the chicken parmigiana. It wasn’t on the menu so I’m blaming that as the reason. The other 2 meals, shrimp cocktail appetizer & coffee were all better than expected. The bread is fantastic. The check in & service can’t be beat. We had early reservations, at 4PM, to avoid the crowds & it was perfect. The crowd started to shuffle in towards the end of our visit. This was our second time there & we will be back during future trips to NY.
great restaurant, amazing food loved the burrata, sole and dessert!!!
The food was fine, but we had just arrived in town after a flight and a very long drive from the airport. We were placed right next to a party who had someone with a hearing problem. He and his party spoke very loudly; his voice was penetrating. The restaurant was not full so we asked to be moved further away from that table. The waiter complied and moved us to another unoccupied room entirely. He explained that the man was a regular customer and implied that we were wrong. It didn’t leave a good taste in our mouths.
A little disappointed in the service for a restaurant at this level, food was great
You can't get any more authentic than Arno. The food was absolutely delicious.
They were slammed for pre theatre and so I felt very ignored-
The manager was very nice and he was trying.
It was just one of those nights. Food was just average.
Did not even give us menu. Asked for drink menu without success. Pasta disk was very good, red snapper okay.
Disappointed. My wife and I went for date night after reading good things online. We were rushed through dinner- in and out in 30 minutes and it’s WAY over priced. The place screams tourist trap. Our Hispanic waiter had a fake Italian accent. $28 for tortellini with meat source. It was a child portion. $14 for house Chianti. We had two entrees, she had a glass of wine and I had one beer. It was $100 bill. I would not recommend this place.
We have been to Arno many times over the years.
As usual the food was delicious and the service great and attentive. We were celebrating my son's birthday. The dessert (with a candle and waiters singing) was complimentary for him. Would definitely recommend
Great service great meal
Very small portion sizes for the price. A small piece of salmon with horrible tasting potatoes will run you $35 and leave you wanting to go get a slice of pizza after you are done.
