View Private Dining DetailsAs always Morton’s is right on point. Great food, incredible service. That is why we have been coming back for years.
Joe came by and was tremendously helpful. He also was kind enough to give us complementary after dinner drinks. Our server, Erica, as we shared with Joe, is extremely kind and tries extremely hard but is definitely over solicitous. We shared our sentiments with Joe. But the meal was terrific.
Absolutely one of my favorite steakhouses! The bartenders are so friendly & they pour a nice cocktail. The waitstaff is superb! Especially Brian! He’s knowledgeable, very friendly & funny. The steaks are divine as are all the sides. I can imagine all their food offerings are excellent as well. Birthdays are celebrated with their yummy soufflé & a photo!
It has been a few years since my husband & I have been to Morton’s. It is now evidently owned by a large corporation (conglomeration of chain restaurants)and seems to have lost its quality. Steaks were mediocre, the bacon had too much fake smoke flavor, the escargot were dry and should have been drowned in butter & garlic. The service was good but the staff there used to know when to give you privacy & when to give service. The Morton’s of my parents generation which had the art of service & high quality food prepared just right is now gone & a sterile corporate copy has taken its place.
We had the best waiter, Alex, who made our dining experience so special .
The staff at Morton’s truly made my son’s birthday beyond special by paying attention to detail. I couldn’t be more pleased. His steak was cooked perfectly. Everything was executed right on time. It was a great night!!
Steaks we're perfectly prepared. Desert and side dishes were equally excellent. Service was outstanding.
Wonderful! Service was attentive but not intrusive. Food was excellent.
We are Landry's members, and like to go on special occasions. This was my husband's bday, so we got $25 off. Which helped, but it was still very expensive to us. That's why we only go on special occasions! We got a variety of dishes: crab cake, chopped salad, spinach/button mushrooms, mashed cauliflower, and the ribeye. It was all excellent, although my husband didn't like the cauliflower as much as I did. And the chopped salad was great flavor, but a little too heavy on the bleu cheese for my taste. The crab cake was one of the best I've ever had -- the waiter said it was full of crab, less filler/breading. And he was right! The ribeye was perfectly done - medium - which even Flemings got wrong on our anniversary. So one up for Morton's over Flemings. When we got there at 6, it wasn't full, and was still so peaceful the music seemed a bit too loud. By the time we left, it was packed, and we could hardly hear the music. All the voices were bouncing around the room so much it was really loud. So don't expect to go there and have a quiet intimate time. But it was a great special date night, nonetheless.
Rusty was priceless. Exceptional service and conversation. The Cajun Ribeye and Lobster Tails. And the Lava Cake was to die for. Definitely will be back and ask for Rusty.
Morton’s was amazing. Food was great and they went out of their way to customize the menu with the birthday name and took pics and gave each of a personalized picture with a frame. I have been their customer for a long time and will continue to be. They beat Ruth’s Chris hands down.
Fabulous 5-star restaurant!!!!
The food is always fresh and tasty. The servers are always polite and respectful I love the place. Bravo!!! Keep up the exquisite service.
Poor service, mediocre overpriced menu, dull room.
The food is always delicious at Morton's. We celebrated a birthday on our most recent visit.
The staff makes you feel special.
The service was horrible from the beginning. We sat down and waited for the server to take our cocktail order. When we got it, it didn’t taste right. He then said he forgot to tell us they didn’t have the tequila we requested so he had the bartender use something else. Then our order was wrong. The manager took over and fixed the wrongs but by then, it was too late.
For anyone who wants a comfortable environment, helpful staff along with a superb meal, Morton's is the place! I especially recommend the Grand Marnier Souffle! Not to be missed.
Angel was very nice and helpful! Food was delicious. Great service and great food!
Absolutely fantastic. Service, ambiance & food were superb. Our server, Jared, was excellent. Highly recommend.
Steaks were outstanding as were side dishes. Lobster tail add on was just okay. Dessert and salad were great too.
Very good top to bottom deal was closed night was a success client was from Iowa knew the quality of good beef said that steak was one of the best he has ever eaten 👊
From the moment that we arrived, starting with the parking attendant, to the receptionists,to the bar for a drink, to the table, and the menu with the Happy Birthday on it, to the waiter, to all servers, was an amazing experience. The food was prepared to perfection. Everyone enjoyed a wonderful evening
We didn’t like the first table they gave us next to the kitchen so we asked to move... well, they didn’t like that. After we asked it’s like we had a disease... they could not find us another table in the main dining room. It was down hill from there on. Food was super, super, super salty... no need to ever return!
Very sad experience my mothers birthday Saturday night 715 reservation they didn’t serve us until 830 ignored us for 30 minutes we requested a booth in the reservation but iPhone big Norred that we ever ask for a booth gave us a squished table next to lots of people even if we said anything they ignored us when I did and had both available because they had other guests coming the worst experience ever and I told them I wouldn’t come back because we were ignored as customers I had been there before and liked it this was the worst experience ever the food is OK the prices are moderate but you wait wait too long for your food they didn’t have enough servers it was terrible
Great meal & great experience
Service was very slow and two dinners had to be returned for improper steak cooking selection.
Water glasses were left empty. Worse experience we have had at Morton's.
We have eaten at Morton's Woodland Hills on numerous occasions & we have never had such a poor experience. We were seated & it them nearly 15 minutes for the server to come to our table & bring us water. It was very apparent that they did not have enough wait staff to serve their customers on this evening. The waiter was very nice but he was just overworked. We finally ordered our dinner for 4. The appetizers were very good from the tomato and blue cheese salad to the morton's salad and the bacon steak. We were into our dinner for over an hour 15 minutes when they finally brought the main courses. Two of the dinners came perfect and my wife and i had ordered the bone in Filet Charred medium rare. It came well done and we sent it back for them to cook another steak. The au gratin potatoes were very cold and we also sent them back as well. By the time they brought back the steak, our friends had finished their meal. This time, they brought the steak that was so rare, that it was mooing! We sent that back as well and told them to just to take if off the bill. They never did bring back the au gratin potatoes. When we put in our order, the waiter asked if we wanted a souffle and we ordered the Chocolate lava cake. After dinner, we ordered a double espresso & 2 cappuccinos and they came well before the dessert. About 10 minutes later, the desserts came and the lemon souffle didn't rise and the Chocolate Lava Cake didn't lava!!! it was cold & the managers excuse was that it took along time to cook & we told him that's why we ordered it when we put in the dinner order. Over all I felt really bad that it was my sister in laws birthday dinner. Her food was cooked to perfection, but the evening was really ruined by the poor food and the managers attitude. The waiter was trying his best but just over worked & although the manager did take off our steak & some of the appetizers, what was supposed to have been a celebration, turned into a nightmare.
Good place for happy hour. Not that convenient to reach unless you work/live in area was pretty quiet after happy hour ended @7:30 pm. Large dining room, nice ambience however
dining room was fairly empty for a Friday evening. Service was fair, food presentation fair, however my Petite Filet Mignon was excellent. For the cost of the evening I would have rather been at another steakhouse.
Second dinner there in the last 3 weeks. Our server was Zack-relatively new to Mortons. He did a great job. Food was fantastic.
Our previous server was Rusty who was also great.
Poor service, bland food. Salad not fresh, sides tasteless. Steak swimming in a watery liquid. Would not recommend.
We have dined here previously, but have never had it be this expensive. The a la carte prices were prohibitive. $16.00 for a side of spinach? The wine prices were all inflated, but I can go with that- but the food prices were just too high. There were four of us who had a steak/lobster combo special for $40.00 each, with 4 glasses of wine and three martinis. Final bill was $469.00. Just too costly for a $40 special...
Friends turned us on to Morton's & it was even better than expected! Old world meets modern times. Great food, great atmosphere & great drinks!
Went for dine LA deal we had to ask for that menu and got an unpleasant look from the server
Another great meal couple with outstanding service. Wait staff were attentive without being intrusive. Rack of Lamb and steak were excellently prepared with the sides, appetizers, and salad large enough to shared. We'll be back.
Excellent as usual. We always enjoy an evening at Morton’s.
Wonderful as usual. I think this Morton's is better than the one in Beverly Hills. The staff, especially in the bar area is so friendly and accommodating. We made the mistake of coming here during DineLA. While it was a good value, the ambiance was shifted. There was also a 40th birthday special running simultaneously to the DineLA special so bargains were all around. Love this place.
I enjoyed going to Morton's Steak House, I had a few issues I though the Valet Parking which was very costly, When I wanted to park myself there was no spaces. Also when it reached 11:00 PM on Friday night the alarm went off which I was told that is the way management requests its time to exit, we left at 11:05, The steak was prepared perfect. I did request my lyonnaise potato's to be extra crispy so I returned them to recook, I also returned the French fries because they did not come extra crispy either, which I told the waiter from the start. I would recommend this restaurant to those who enjoy a good steak.
Simply, Morton's had a bad night. Our server was AWAL most of the evening. Slow to respond to our needs and refills of water, coffee and drinks were hard to come by. Kitchen was very slow.
We have eaten here many times before and tonight was just below par for this restaurant.
It was great! The menu came out personalized with my boyfriend’s name for his birthday, and we received a complimentary dessert and a framed photo. Our server was amazing as well. Would definitely come back.
$40 special anniversary menu a bargain w good selections. Pork chop among very best I ever had. Huge.
Great experience
