ARNETTE'S Chop Shop is a modern take on the traditional American steakhouse and features a contemporary, chef-driven menu, extensive wine list and a well-curated craft cocktail program.

The restaurant’s interior was created to compliment the industrial modern design movement, exposing the natural character of the reclaimed warehouse while blending vintage, classic and modern design influences.

The restaurant is split into two levels. The dining room is appointed with custom wood and leather booths, banquettes and tables. The main level also boasts an open kitchen complete with a custom built wood burning and open flame hearth and charbroiler.

The lavish upscale bar is positioned on the second level above the main entrance and dining room. The bar has a contemporary yet warm den style ambiance with a open air terrace. The ceilings are low and the walls are adorned with paintings of famous musicians of past and present.

The food was phenomenal!!! We had the bacon and also the shrimp cocktail to start. We then split a lettuce wedge which was a perfect size and the presentation was awesome! My wife had the red snapper and I chose the 16oz Cowgirl Ribeye which was
cooked to perfection. The service part the evening was not efficient enough for a place of that caliber. I’ve been in the business ( hospitality business) for over 30 years , I just left the Palm Steakhouse after working there for 15 years. I know as a server we tend to stereotype customers or how we would say “ Valentines Weekend is Amateur weekend, but damn I had to make conversation with my server just to feel right about giving him a 25% tip. No manager came around and asked if everything was ok. I saw a few guys in suits just looked and smile. Thank God the food was awesome , or I would’ve been totally disappointed. My wife and I would love to come back and enjoy it when it’s not too obvious that we seemed like a “Amateurs” . Again , I’ve been in the industry for Over 30 years, got my degree in Hospitality Management, you know when you are being avoided in a restaurant.

I've been here twice. The first time was really good, but this last time the food wasn't as good as I remembered. The service is great, the ambience is fun, but the steak was just OK. I'll try it again, but there are other great steakhouses in ATL so I may not rush back.

They were not prepared for the amount of people on Valentine’s day. we had to wait 2 1/2 hours for our meal. They did comp us though.

It was understandably busy on Valentine's Day. We weren't seated until 30 minutes after the reservation, which was fine. But it took another half hour to even get water or a drink order once we got to our table. We saw that no one around us even had their food at their table, either. My date and I had places to be afterward, so we got up and left.

It's unfortunate. Seems like a nice place and will likely be open to going back, but the service was simply not up to par for other Valentine's dinner experiences that I've had.

Had Dinner with my wife to celebrate Valentines Day. Did not disappoint at all. This was our third time to Arnette's. Michael has done a great job with his restaurants. As residents of Brookhaven these are our go to places to real good food.

While Arnette's was real busy our waiter did a real good job in attending to our needs. The sides were out of this world (mushrooms, fall vegetables and Brussel sprouts). Salads were equally as good. The Bone-in filet was real good cooked correctly.

will be back...

My steak was very undercooked. It had already taken way too long to begin with so by the time and it was re-cooked it was too late. I wasn’t even hungry anymore

Ribeye was fatter and tasteless. Filet was ok. Service was slow especially given there was several empty tables in our room.
My second visit, and I think I’ll stick with little alley and bones going forward.
Not sure how much longer Arnettes will survive unless change where they purchase their meat. Where do they by the way.

We went here for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner and it was great. They had a fixed special occasion menu that included a bottle of wine (or you could order off the menu). Overall the food was great, but the 10oz Filet was amazing. It had a perfectly seasoned, seared crust and was cooked perfectly throughout.

Amazing filet and spinallis cuts. The chef was spot on with the seasoning and temp of preparations on both! We love this place. Thank you yet again for a fabulous meal.

Beautiful restaurant with a great meal tonight.... ask for Alberto as your server. He was extremely professional and we enjoyed his flawless service. He even had a little surprise for me tonight, we didn’t tell him it was my birthday but apparently he saw it on my Open Table profile and brought a lovely dessert and candle! Very thoughtful. Thanks Alberto for a great evening. We will be back for sure.

We went to the top to have a drink which was a lot of fun. Definitely go early before your reservation or stay after for a drink upstairs. It was a very comfortable restaurant, our servers and service was great and food was fantastic. It was a little pricey, but definitely worth a splurge meal!

Really wanted to love this place. The space is amazing and everyone was so nice- very fast and accommodating service. The rooftop area is really nice too. Sadly, the food was not very good. Started off strong with a wedge salad and oysters and basically went downhill from there. The scallops were inconsistently flavored- one VERY salty and one not seasoned enough. Wasn’t pleased with the temperature or taste of the ravioli or the lobster mac and cheese either. As I said, really wanted to love it but probably will not be back- other than for drinks upstairs!

One of best hidden gems in Atlanta, upstairs bar scene and layout is one of the best in Atlanta
From Arnette to server Deborah it was a wonderful night. Hash browns & bone in filet were very good. Only disappointing thing all night was the keylime pie was not that good, surprisingly for a restaurant that nailed everything else on the menu.
Valet is in perfect location

Great ambiance, great cocktails, fun energetic. Service was good not exceptional for the price.
We ordered Bone Morrow which was great but were very disappointed in our steaks I’ve been to several high end steak restaurants I wish I could say this place was comparable but it wasn’t the steaks were ok not a lot of flavor all though cooked perfectly medium rare they lacked flavor and tenderness.
Our sides were good as well but not great we would love to try this place again because of the ambiance and friendliness of the staff but not sure if we are willing to fork out another $400 on dinner.

Everything was fine except that they do not know how to cook a steak in the “black and blue” style. Black and blue means charred on the outside and raw on the inside (or very close to that). My first steak came out straight up medium rare - no char, nothing. The replacement was a charcoal briquet on the outside and medium rare on the inside. I did not send it back a second time because it was clear that they did not know how to prepare steak in this style. Disappointing for a high end steakhouse and they’d be better off just telling customers they can’t do it.

Second time dining here & service & food was just as good as the first time...both Tom & Dane took very good care of us with the meal & service well paced...Michael Arnett was in the restaurant & stopped by our table for a few minutes checking on us & thanking us for dining with them...great atmosphere...has quickly become one of our favorites
