Definitely an experience to remember! Amazing food and ambiance, truly a wonderful way to finish our visit to New Orleans. Made sure to visit the collection of Mardi Gras costumes before leaving, too!

We heard a ton of great things and, when visiting Nola, seek out the best. Although the old school ambiance is definitely neat, everything else is overrated. The food is ok. The service (very dressy and very attentive...which means a little stuffy) is fine, nothing to critique. The food is the issue. It’s just ok...maybe even kinda good. We tried all the baked oysters, and I’ve had plenty better in town at “dive” bars. Shrimp Arnaud, again, just ok. Did the Meunière and the Arnaud’s crab cakes...again, just ok. Clearly you’re paying for name and ambiance here. I’ll say this, the pecan pie was out of this world good, so maybe a spot for dessert.

this was a treat. One of the oldest restaurants in New Orleans. The service is so good, it was almost a little annoying. There were several waiters hovering over us the entire time. They brought us the wrong dishes several times. Other than that , it was a great experience.

Arnaud' s was so accommodating. Some of our party was running late and Arnaud' s was able to push back our reservation and hold a table for 6 for us. The service and the food were impeccable. Tableside dessertr was fabulous as was the wine list and the cocktail menu. I couldn't find a single fault with the entire experience.

Always a consistent classic . Best French 75 in town. Wait staff is very friendly and helpful, not something you get everywhere in NO. And their crawfish may actually rival Gallatoires Ettufe.

We have been to Jazz Brunch several times and although the service and food were up to par, was disappointed in the "jazz". We only heard the band play 3 songs, and they never came anywhere near our table. In the past they made their way around to each table.

Absolutely the worst meal I’ve had in more than a decade.

The service staff is just going through the motions.....likely because the restaurant is full of tourists that they will never see again. Our server spilled a glass of our $175/bottle of wine and the only thing that was said was, “we will get you more bread.”

The food is absolutely wretched.....cold and no flavor. We each took two bites of our meal and left the rest.....no one even asked if there was a reason why we didn’t eat the food.

Chef Boyardee would be a huge step up from what comes out of this kitchen.

This restaurant is all reputation and hype; do not waste your money on this place.

I been going to Arnauds for over 20 years when we visist NOLA 3 times a year. Always tops!! You know we must like it when we go there 3 times during our weekly visits.

Ask for Douglas. He's the best server along with Charles who is semit-retired.

I went to Arnaud’s for a special occasion and had nothing but the best service. Doug was super nice, but the best part of the experience was my server Bobby- his skill, professionalism, attention to detail, and knowledge made him an incredible asset to my evening. Irvin gave me a tour of the place, and I was one awe. Amazing food, great waitstaff, excellent evening. Thank you!

We did expect more and better. How ever the service was good and they treated us well. The Souffle Potatoes are very good. We also had Black Drum Amandine, which was heavy and not memorable. I topped it of with Profiteroles I would rate that as Okay. My wife had the Pecan Pie and liked it!

Dinner at Arnaud's began with Shrimp Arnaud and oysters Arnaud for appetizers, then pampano duarte for my husband Gar and sweetbreads with menierre sauce for me and potato souffles which were absolutely awesome!. Creme brulee for Gar and chocolate toffee bombe for me probably the best dessert on the menu!

My husband and I came here for our 10th wedding anniversary. We had a reservation and it still took over 20 minutes to have a waitstaff to even acknowledge us. The only reason anyone even came to the table was because my husband asked the host if we had a server. After questioning if we had a server we were given water and a drink menu. After another 15 minutes a server came to take our drink order. After another 10 minutes we were finally given a food menu. Our food did come quickly after we ordered. My husband enjoyed his crab cakes. The filet was underwhelming and they did not provide a steak knife to cut the steak. You had to saw the filet with a dull butter knife to cut the steak. Quality service did not seem to be a concern for the staff. We should have found any other restaurant to celebrate our anniversary at than Arnaud's.

Some of the dishes were fabulous but the sides were not good at all for a Nola restaurant. Creamed spinach tasted like water and Brabant potatoes tasted like they sat for hours. The crab claws were subpar.

Arnaud's was great! The number of servers we had was a little confusing but overall it was a really great spot. I was unsure if we were supposed to eat bread prior to the meal since we had no bread plates or if we were supposed to eat it with our meal.

It would have been nice to be recommended to get some side dishes as the main meals were mostly garnished with the items listed on the menu.

Unfortunately this classic has become quite tired. From dirty menus to uninspired (and over cooked) shrimp creole this wonderful landmark has sadly deteriorated. It needs a total makeover. I am hoping this happens because it is an amazing institution that needs to return to glory. Go for the drinks and music next door in the meantime

We went to Arnaud's for the second NYE in a row. It is so beautifully decorated that it feels luxurious to spend a special occasion there. We started with the French 75, which was a festive start to a holiday meal. The captain suggested it and we were please to also follow his suggestion as to a bottle of wine to go with dinner. We had the Oysters Rockefeller. The best ones I've ever had. We also had the escargot. I loved the puff pastry on top. Perfect to go with the butter and herbs. I had the Crabmeat Karen with is served in pastry shaped like a crab. It would be easy to overcook the crabmeat inside, but at Arnaud's they are specialists and the seafood was sweet and tender, not at all chewy. My date had the Chicken Pontalban, which he seemed to really enjoy. We finished with bread pudding. The service was spot on.
