   This is a classic New Orleans restaurant. The turtle soup and LA crab cakes were great. Staff is friendly and we even met the owner. Something that doesn’t often happen. The environment is lively- a bit noisy - But alot of places have become more like this.

   As if the food and ambiance were not experiences enough, our server made the night even more memorable. We took our son for a graduation celebration, and Arnaud's did not disappoint. In fact, the evening rated as one of the top three or so dinners out for us, anywhere, ever. When in Rome... We opted to try those dinners that are unique to Arnaud's, and out server was very helpful about pointing us in the right direction. Every dish was spectacular. Note that the noice level can reach a pretty high level at the busiest times, but somehow in New Orleans, this is to be expected. It did not detract from our evening. Be sure to make reservations, as I understand that the restaurant can otherwise be impossible to gain entry to. For our next NOLA visit, we will make it a point to visit Arnaud's.

    I wouldn't ever ever recommend this restaurant. The noise level is off the scale. The food is just okay. It took us more than 1.5 hours to be served out dinner. The manager was defensive, aggressive, mean, and very much a bully. There is no "the client is right." If you protest or complain the manager will basically say, "If you don't like it, then leave."

    We chose this restaurant after reading open table reviews. It’s beautiful inside and the bar was very nice too. The food was delicious as well as the cocktails. The wait staff was awesome. It is also very noisy so if your looking for a nice quiet place to eat don’t go here. But I would definitely go here again.

    Have been eating there for 50 years. Food was wonderful. Worst waiter I have encountered outside of Burger King. Surly. Acted as if it was a burden to wait on us. Not friendly or attentive. Brought it to the attention of the General Manager who acted less than concerned. Very disappointing for any restaurant much less one with a history like Arnaud’s.

    My Meunière fish was outstanding and my husband really enjoyed his sweetbreads. The wine was crisp and cold. And the service, as always, was impeccable.

    We felt rushed by our waiter. He seemed in a hurry and generally not as friendly as we expected. The rest of their team was great. Food and atmosphere was wonderful. It was quite noisy.

    I cannot recommend the jazz brunch enough. Many interesting options, great food, and charming atmosphere – elegant and relaxed at the same time. I also appreciate that they reduce food waste.

    My husband and I went here for the jazz brunch since it was highly reviewed. We were disappointed that the band did not start until almost 10:45 am when our reservation was at 10. To top it off as we left, another musician was entering. In our opinion, the service was great, it was clean, and has a classy feel to it, but it was very overpriced for decent food that will not leave an impression and nothing jazzy about brunch. It’s also for an older crowd.

    My boyfriend and I went here for our one year anniversary and it was prefect! We had been before and knew this was where we wanted to celebrate since we were in town for Jazz Fest. The entire crew was so helpful, attentive, friendly and made the evening so special! The food was so rich in flavor, represented New Orleans perfectly and overall, everything was delicious! We ordered the smoked Pompano bourgeois, turtle soup, soufflé potatoes, Crawfish O’Connor, the meunière, and the mille feuille for dessert! My favorite item from the menu was the turtle soup topped with Brandy! This is the kind of place that although fine dining, is super down to earth and inclusive. It’s not like a fine dining restaurant elsewhere, which would be very “stuffy” and not as accommodating and welcoming as Arnaud’s.

    We were seated right by the servers station. We ordered three dishes with our drinks. Only two were served. When we reminded them they said they would get it right away. We waited 15 more minutes. It didn’t come. We needed to leave so we told them we didn’t want it anymore. They said they would comp our second round of drinks. We said ok. We got our bill for dinner and the missing item was on the bill (escargot)! We won’t go back there

    Fantastic meal and excellent service. The flambé desserts are a must. It was a little on the loud side, so just be aware if you’re looking to have a quiet dinner. The energy added to the ambience, however, so no complaints on that front.

    The turtle soup was amazing and the Pontchartrain was great as well Loved howyou did the bananas Foster at the table whereas some restaurants in the past have discontinued that practice.
