The atmosphere at this place is super chill. The crowd is late 40s-70s ish. You do need a reservation, and on Thursday night that was definitely the case. The band was decent. Mellow. The space was super tight. Most the tables are alongside the wall, and it feels like you are on top of your neighbors. The one lady I basically shared an armrest with kept moving so much and bumping me every time she did, I felt like I was stuck on a flight with a toddler I couldn't escape from. The food was not what I expected, especially considering the prices, a bit underwhelming. The steak was well-prepared. But nothing spectacular. The salmon was well prepared too, but again, for the price it wasn't phenomenal. We also split the calamari and shrimp appetizer. Again, we have all had better, was the consensus. (My friend felt the sauce was very watery, I felt like it had a lot of condiments- salty.) I also ordered the French onion soup. That looked like it would be good, but I found it very over condimented, a lot of what tasted like cumin.) I think the best thing about this place is the service. Our waiter Laz did his best to make sure we were happy.

Great little Jazz bar. Something south florida needs more of. Great wine list fairly priced. A liquor license away from being a 5 star experience.

We wanted to go for a fun night of jazz. The actual band didn’t start until 6:40 and our seating that we paid a cover for was at 6pm. They had a family band before which was fine but we shouldn’t have owed a cover on that. The real problem is the food. We ordered a French onion soup and it had deli slices of provolone cheese on top. It was honestly pretty inedible. We didn’t stick around past that and left after the band had only played one song to go across the street. We also saw the bartenders opening canned fruit to use in the drinks which was quite off putting. We won’t be going back.

We found the food (salmon & steak) to be very underwhelming. The serving staff, while pleasant, ate not very friendly nor very attentive. The music, on the other hand, was amazing!

Great music, great food. Service was a bit off..they seemed more interested in speaking amongst themselves and the owner than paying attention to customers. Overall great night. The tostones are out of this world!

This is a special place. It is an intimate jazz “supper club” with fantastic live jazz, good food, and great service. It could be better if it had a full bar, but the wine selection is good enough to accompany a great meal. We will be regulars!

Wish they would disclose that they do not have a liquor license, so all of their mixed “drinks” aren’t made with the real stuff. The drinks were incredibly disappointing., as the “whiskey-inspired old fashioned” tasted more like Lysol with a hint of orange juice. We heard the couple next to us complain about the food. It’s not quite what they make it seem in their social media/advertising. Oh and there was a random worker taking professional pictures as if you’re on a cheesy cruise. Definitely never going again, good attempt at a “jazz house” but a hard hard miss. (And keep in mind, you’re also charged a $5 admission like it’s 1995)
