   I have to give this a poor rating, though I am not sure it's entirely fair. The owner called me on Friday but I didn't get the voicemail until I was on my way. We were able to get into another place that we like that was nearby. I am disappointed because this was more than dinner, this was to be dinner and dancing to a great band and she cancelled the band too, even though the issue was a chef who was out ill. I will revise if I get another opportunity to go and see a band. Very disappointing evening overall.

   Glad they were open on the 4th after our fireworks were cancelled due to weather.

   We tried this restaurant months ago and thought maybe it was just a bad night. We went this week to give it another shot and it was worse than the first time. The food is awful.

   Food and service were great. Came to hear Joe ABBA’s Funk Unit and had a great time.

   Great Place with live music. The owner Connie is terrific, warm and friendly. Food is delicious.

   We were recommended by a friend to make reservations a day ahead and were glad we did! We were pleasantly surprised by the menu with plenty of options to choose from. The dishes were pleasing to the eye with generous portions. My husband ordered typical bar fare served with care and I was able to have a healthy salad with grilled salmon cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional even though the place was crowded. The entertainment was lively and kept the crowd happy. We will definitely go again!

   I normally don't write reviews, but this is the WORST restaurant I have been to in recent memory. Went for Mother's Day brunch and it was a DISASTER. The restaurant took almost 1 hour to deliver the appetizer and drinks? Took like 30 mins to get a drink - and the restaurant was not even full. The main course that came was not what we ordered. We left without having to pay - will NEVER go back.

    The service was exceptionally slow. It took about 40 minutes for our appetizers to arrive (and it wasn’t that busy), and when they did arrive, they were sub-par. The stuffed mushrooms topped with goat cheese were literally just a mushroom cap with a slice of breakfast sausage laid on top. Instead of goat cheese there was a drizzle of salad dressing. Every baked brie that I’ve ever had is a puff pastry filled with brie. Theirs is not; it is a slightly warmed slice of cheese with some fruit to garnish. Finally the entrees came: fried chicken and pancakes with candied maple bacon. One of my pancakes was pretty close to burnt, and there was no bacon anywhere to be found on either my plate or on my wife’s (she ordered the same). At this point, when the waitress came to check how things were we complained about everything. She was nice and apologetic and had the manager come see us. They knocked an appetizer + 10% off the bill (for a total of around $20). It was clear that our experience was not an isolated one; we overheard other customers complaining as well. As I was paying the bill, I overheard a large party complaining that they had already been there an hour and no food had yet been served. Again, it really wasn’t that busy- there were definitely empty tables, and it doesn’t fit that many patrons to begin with. The root of the problems today seemed to stem from a kitchen that couldn’t get its act together. We won’t be returning to Armonk House.
