Came for a relatively quick business meal, which I think disappointed the very attentive staff. Pasta Bolognese and special risotto with white truffles were superb. Had a very delicious Lagrein rose. Wine list looked great.

As usual the food was great, the service was great The staff was genuinely pleasant and attentive.
Also, there are many beautiful restaurants and elegant restaurants, but most importantly this one is not stuffy or pretentious

It was a celebration of my birthday and my friend's, Dr. Daniel Lahm. Everything was impeccable!!! We were very well received by a very nice young lady who offered us the best table with a great view. Soon the manager approached us with champagne glasses on the house and his was a super wonderful surprise!

Our server, the food, the bread and everything we had was superb!!! The wine selection is something else!! What a great taste for Italian wines! We both chose pasta and it was the best!! The ambience, the service, our special dessert with candles, EVERYTHING was more than perfect. We were impressed and we will be back!
I highly recommend this beautiful, elegant and sophisticated restaurant for special occasions, dates and business meal. Amazing job everyone! You were all extremely professional and nice to us!

Restaurant was empty. When I asked the host if we could have a booth he quickly said that all the booths had 8:00 reservations. I knew that wasn't true but went back to our table. When we left - all those booths were still empty. When I confronted him to say that he said he had a lot of cancellations - what a lie.
Never going back there...not worth the money or the ambience.

Armani Restaurant is one of my favorite New York restaurants. The food is always delicious. They have a good wine list and wine by the glass. Our waiter was great! We so enjoyed our evening there.

We came here for my sister-in-law's 40th birthday. From the moment we walked in we were wowed. We all went for the 5 course tasting menu. Delicious! Each course was amazing. The sommelier recommended a good bottle of Sparkling to start and we just went from there. Our waiter was excellent. The rest of the staff were attentive but discreet. During dessert our waiter brought out a special treat for the birthday girl, which she loved.

Our table was not so great. It was right behind the big pole near the bathroom although there seemed to be lots of tables available (not reserved). The manager? told the receptionist to take us to that table. (She at first tried to prepared another table for us, which was better.) on that point, we were not really comfortable. Other than that, food and service were fair to the cost. We enjoyed especially dessert.

Service and decor were nice, but the food was extremely disappointing. Neither of us finished any of our three brunch courses. This was our first NYC Restaurant Week experience and now it will be our last. It is clear that the restaurants serve sub-par meals because of the more affordable prices. Very disappointing.

As my overall review says the restaurant was ok. But the service was slow and got strangely awful as the evening progressed. There were five us. First the waiter forgot to take one guest's order because he was talking to the sommelier. We had to hail him to get him back. Over time he just abandoned us, despite the fact that the restaurant was not full. We repeatedly had to get other staff walking by to request more water, dessert and after dinner drinks. When the water person came he filled the glass of the person who requested it, but ignored the empty glasses of the other two remaining guests. Two guests had left by then because the service was so slow. We were there over 4 hours. One guest finally went to the bar to get an after dinner drink. Obviously we won't be returning.

We went for Restaurant week
My husband chose the duck from the regular menu which was excellent but over priced at $40+
I chose the restaurant week menu and was disappointed. The sauces had no taste, both the starter (veal tonnato) and the main dish (rabbit ragout over spaghetti) lacked flavor.
I have eaten both way better in much cheaper places.
The wine was good. We chose an Italian Rose.
