Always amazing never fails. Im very big on service since my very first Armandos experience service has been phenomenal. Thanks again
Great food. Great drinks. It was really loud in there so I wouldn't advise this place on a Friday for a romantic dinner. Everything else was great.
We've been to Armando's on many occasions, and it's always a great time. The food is excellent, the service is great, and the ambiance is probably the nicest of any Mexican restaurant in which I've ever eaten. Very highly recommended.
I love Armando's! It's great for any occasion--business, pleasure, parties--and the food and service are always good and the decor is inviting and attractive. Highly recommend it.
Service was prompt
Food was good
Food and drinks a little pricey
Armando’s is always a favorite of mine. This time we were in to celebrate a birthday and were disappointed. The margaritas were very watered down. We were sat next to a table where the parents of a table of children didn’t feel the need to watch their children. Even after a manager took one of the young boys back to his parents, the kids continued to run around(not Armando’s fault). This was very disruptive to our dinner.
When our dinner was served, the chili rellanos came out cold and under cooked. The manager came and apologized and brought me another dish. The steak fajitas and tilapia were delicious.
Not sure when we will be back. Bad drinks, cold food and a disruptive meal doesn’t make me want to hurry back.
My go to in Houston from here on out.
The food was excellent, as always. Great place for get together of out of town family. Atmosphere is exciting but not too loud.
Amazing experience and food
One of my favorite restaurants in Houston. Love the food, the atmosphere and the best margaritas in town.
Armando's has been a favorite of mine since 1987! Great restaurant, food and service. We really enjoyed the back dining area as it is much easier to hear each others conversation. Wonderful time with family!
very Good food, great service but very noisy. luckily we got the booth
The nachos were a little greasy and had too much cheese but overall it was a very nice dining experience.
The twice refried beans were magical. I don’t like refried beans normally and I couldn’t stop eating them.
We've been going to Armando's since it opened decades ago on Shepherd, and generally like it. But this particular visit, it was crazy busy - loud, and not easy to talk to our friends. At least we were in a booth, which helped. I suspect because of the crowd, the service wasn't very attentive.
The Queso Flameado, one of the old standbys, did not disappoint our friends, who had not been there before. I got the chicken enchiladas. They were OK, but nothing special (especially for the price). I should have gotten the spinach enchiladas, as my husband did. The spinach is freshly sautéed. The sauce on top is an unnatural green, but it plus the almonds sprinkled on make for a really good dish. The beans are probably made with lard, they're so good - but worth every bite!
Simply the best there is.
We had a lovely dinner with their special Valentine’s Day menu. Our waiter made our meal even more enjoyable.
Just mediocre. Worst margaritas we’ve had in Houston and we’ve lived here for 15 years. Had really high expectations and was really disappointed. The service was very attentive but good and drinks- terrible.
Excellent food and service on Valentines Day with friends.
The service was great!! The food was delicious as well! We look forward to returning!
We are regulars at Armando's. This time, the restaurant was filled with large tables of big groups
and was so loud. Two of us ordered fish tacos with red snapper and sauce on the side. The came with a lot of sauce on them, and the fish was fishy. Once we flagged down our waiter he quickly
replaced our fish tacos with something else and was very apologetic about the problem. Everyone else enjoyed their food- shrimp and beef fajitas and a chicken dish. We will go back because of location, and it can be a fun evening.
Food, service, and drinks were great as always.
Great atmosphere ... beautiful people... come to party
Always a pleasure to come to Armandos. Food quality, service and atmosphere are excellent. I'm sort of a regular and I've never been disappointed.
We wanted a new place to try ahead of a movie at River Oaks Theatre and were not disappointed with Armondos. The service was very pleasant and attentive. The table setting was very crisp. Great food and all in all a wonderful place to have a quiet dinner or private party. Highly recommend.
Sat near the bar which was crowded and loud. Great service and food
I am not a fan of refried beans, but theirs....YUM!!
Overall very good experience. Very good food and service by wait staff. One of the hostesses was less than friendly. Same hostess, same experience as last time.
We were there early on Saturday. So quiet, very relaxing. Beautiful dining room. The food was excellent. Service was friendly but not terribly prompt. We will definitely return.
Armando's is a long-time favorite and the food is always excellent!
Never disappointed. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for a little more than just a Mexican restaurant.
Food is always great. Service was only adequate, and certainly nothing notable.
Great Mexican at Armando’s!
Outstanding food, service and ambiance. Armando’s consistently delivers an overall great experience. Can’t wait for Armando’s new restaurants in Round Top!
our waiter was incredibly rude and the service was horrible. we waited to get menus for 30 minutes and had to ask the manager for them eventually. the drinks and food was way overpriced and not worth it.
As always the food was great. We always go to Armando’s on Christmas Eve.
Food was really good and service was very good. The restaurant was very noisy but it was a Saturday night before Christmas. Would definitely go back.
Fantastic upscale tex/mex. Atmosphere, service, and food all top notch. A River Oaks must dine place.
Great food, great atmosphere! Had a terrific meal and will come back again.
