Arlington Club Ratings and Reviews
I have dined here before and had a better experience than tonight. Not sure if the management has changed but the restaurant seems to be working out kinks -- or perhaps I caught them on a challenging day. The service was spotty which, at their price point, I wouldn't expect. Ours was an early reservation and the restaurant was not crowded; it felt like the waitstaff was down a person and the others were stretched. The Maitre D' was very attentive to a very attractive woman but not so much to others... which didn't go unnoticed. It took a little longer than usual to get wine etc. Overall, the food was good (just the Dover Sole was not, at all), and the bus boys were lovely and willing to bring extra of the fabulous popovers. I would certainly go back and give it another try.
Did not know Arlington Club existed, before my meal there, do now and would recommend to any all. Phil was our server and he was great. He is authentic New York, so if you are from out of town and want to meet New Yorkers, Phil is your guy! Food, drink and overall service was outstanding as well! I will be back!
Myself and my partner visited while staying in New York, we live in London and often dine out. We walked by one day and saw the restaurant, then decided to book. We loved it, the food was second to none, the service was brilliant, the owner was there and came to introduce himself which was a nice touch. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice meal out, the steak was amazing, and the mac & cheese side was the best I have ever had.
Noise level overbearing, service lacking warmth, wine prices 50% too high. Ordered tomahawk for 2 + porterhouse for 2 (total cost $ 285.00) the meat arrived cold, was sent back to reheat after 10-min but came back well done and dry tasteless instead of medium well originally ordered. Pointed out to the owner who could not care less. So we ended up giving our porterhouse to our kids dog. The cream spinach tasted like baby food.
Would never give this establishment a second chance. We’re Peter Lugers aficionados so we know Quality not theatrics
I’ve been here a few times. I like it so much that I often dine alone. The staff is always friendly. & lately they seat me at the same table. Makes me feel special 🤗
One day I saw a post on their Instagram page & all day I had a taste for what I saw. So I had to go. And yup!! It hit the spot !! The awesome thing was, even though it was a Friday night they still got me a table.
Had high expectations. They were not realized.
There are lots of steakhouses in the City and all charge high prices. But for those high prices, I expect outstanding food and service. Here, the food was average. Steaks and sides are nothing special. That's the problem with this restaurant: there is no value. Its ambiance isn't special. Its food isn't special. Its prices are expensive. And the service is ok.
Will not be coming back.
service and greeting were very good. Food was Ok but definitely not worth the price. I frequent most of the steak houses in NYC and this was my least favorite. Rib Eye was the best of the steaks served to the table. The porterhouse was not very flavorful nor was it very tender. The temperatures were perfect.
I was disappointed in the octopus appetizer.Very tough! Shrimp cocktail was very good.
The four of us had 2 bottles of wine at $120 per bottle. With tip it cost $200 per person. I feel that the meal was overly pricey for the quality
Cocktails made well. Crabcake is one of the best I've ever had. Strip and skirt steaks melted in our mouths with a beautiful crust and perfectly seasoned. The creamed spinach was creamy without a bunch of cream, and the smashed potatoes are liked twice baked. Outstanding, all of it!!!
