Arizona Inn - Dining Room Ratings and Reviews
The Arizona Inn dining room has a classic old hotel ambience. The live piano music was enjoyable, and the noise level was very low, allowing for easy conservation and pleasant dining. The menu has a good variety of choices with several vegetarian options (the vegetarian burger is quite tasty). A prix fixe menu was available but was not vegetarian. Wine list is pretty good
I hadn't been to the Inn for Sunday brunch in a couple of years. The food was always fairly good, but the new menu is MUCH better. We each had omelettes (vegetarian and bacon) that were well filled with ingredients. BE sure to opt for the scones instead of toast as a side, They're delicious.
The lamb was chewy and the sauce was very simple and salty. It just didn't taste good, and I love lamb. The coconut dessert was terrible, but the other desserts were good. We enjoyed the space, it is beautiful and worth visiting, but would just order a glass of wine or dessert next time.
Very disappointing dining experience. We were put in a back room all by ourselves. Service was slow initially and average at best. Main course meals were completely inadequate. Both filets were on the cold side. One was well overdone. Management knew the filet was over cooked and still served it. We had a party of 9, other meals were basically underwhelming. When they brought out a new filet, they cleared the table while one person was still eating their new filet. Was very surprised such a fine establishment treated us so poorly.
Beautiful historical restaurant and hotel! Christmas decor is lovely. A little disappointed in the hamburger and fries. Asked for no pink for hamburger and it was under-cooked. Not much garnish on the burger. I think it was called the Inn Burger. Shoestring fries were bland with no seasoning. Wished I had ordered one of the turkey or roast beef sandwiches or salad which other people in my party had. They said the dishes were very good. All lunch dishes were generous helpings!
Arizona Inn is one of our favorites. You can’t beat the historical classical atmosphere . The menu choices meet everyone’s needs from perfectly prepared lamb to vegetarian. . I gave 4 stars because every once in awhile the chef misses with a tasteless soup or a little burned potato or two poached eggs—one hard, one soft. Yet this might happen to one person at a table of 10 or 4. Still everyone else has a perfect meal. Very gracious and handicap accessible . Love visiting the gardens or the library with the xmas tree.
We had the Chef's Tastes and enjoyed the food and wine choices very much. Our only negative was the "amuse bouche" which was an underseasoned cold red pepper bisque which did not amuse our mouths. I particularly loved the scallop entree although all 3 entrees were excellent.
A very nice Christmas Day feast during our travels. The dining room at the Arizona Inn was comfortable and quiet. The holiday menu offered several good choices, and all our dishes were well-prepared and generous in their proportions. The wine list offers many nice bottles at reasonable prices. Service was attentive. There were not many choices for a good meal in Tucson on Christmas Day, and we felt lucky to have been able to dine so well.
We have not been to this restaurant in years. I just recently moved back to Tucson. This place was amazing! the ambiance was so filled with Christmas spirit! The waitress was excellent at her job! Everyone was so friendly! And the food was fantastic! I had perfectly seared salmon and my husband had the strip which was cooked to perfection! We will be returning again and again
My friend and I so enjoyed our luncheon yesterday. We will definitely return for special occasions and recommend Arizona Inn Dining Room to all. We are also glad we made reservations as the dining room was full. It was fun to see the gentlemen with their Santa hats on and enjoying themselves also.
The Arizona Inn fulfills one's expectations for fine dining. From the attractive dining room and furnishings, to the maître d' who greets you, to the wait staff who are attentive and committed, and to the chefs who prepare the delicious dinners it is a pleasurable experience that shouldn't be missed.
I try to visit the Inn every year at holiday time because I love the history and ambiance, not to mention the Christmas tree! My friend said, "this food is crazy delicious" and I couldn't agree more. He had a build your own omelet and I had huevos rancheros, a departure from my usual eggs Benedict. See you next year!
The Brussel sprout appetiser was loved by our vegitarian diners as well as the Southwestern Chickpea Cakes and the Roasted Corn and Butternut Squash Cannelloni all super yummy. The scallop dinner and the salmon super flavorful and melted in our mouths. The Chef certainly pays attention to the seasonings and the combiantions he uses in the dishes and we all noted and were super impressed.
The service was very warm and freindly. The dining room very beautiful this holiday season.
Its our famly favorite expereince in the area and is priced beutifully for what they serve. Highly recommend
Dining in the main room is not to be missed. We have enjoyed the tasting menu on numerous visits. Due to the holiday crowds the service and food was not up to usual standards. While we will return it won’t be during a busier time as the staffs ability to provide the service they are capable of with the quality of food that is the norm is strained.
Dining at Arizona Inn is a wonderful treat. The food is delicious. The service is superb. I like to take some friends every year around Christmas to enjoy the library with the tall, beautiful tree and other Christmas decorations. Scheduling conflicts forced me to have to take friends on two different evenings - doesn’t break my heart any.
