We enjoyed mid 20th century elegance in the dining room with service and menu to match.
You will have a similar experience.
Enjoyed the experience. Will go again and recommend to others.
The food was prepared to perfection and the staff were courteous and professional. Our service was excellent and we were not rushed at all. The overall experience was very positive and we can highly recommend this restaurant with confidence.
Everything was wonderful and to our liking, except: When I made the reservation and when I first talked to the server, I said that we were celebrating a birthday for one of our guests from France and turning 80 years of age that day. Nothing was made special - a desert with a candle or whatever. Very disappointed that apparently no attention was given to our special celebration. We have not had this experience with past dinner celebrations. What happened?
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We had a wonderful lunch with our friends.
We sat at our table for 20 minutes and no waiter/waitress came to the table. My husband finally got up from the table and went to the bar and placed an order for our drinks. We tried to flag down the hostess to ask for some help but she was busy the entire evening reading on her computer. Our drinks were delivered from the bar and we begged for a server. A waitress did appear and she did a very good job taking care of us for the remainder of the evening. But the first half hour was just so bad that it kind of ruined our experience. This was a Monday evening and the restaurant was not even half full. Perhaps they need to hire more servers or at least a hostess that could help out the servers. The food was good, certainly nothing exceptional. It is a lovely restaurant though.
Arizona Inn totally knocked it out of the park. The dining room is gorgeous and the servers could not have been more helpful. We had chips & guac, wedge salads, strip steaks, and chickpea cakes. Everything was wonderful. Our only complaint was that the dressing on the salads was a bit too spicy hot. The menu is diverse with everything from price fixed combinations to burgers and tacos. This place is perfect for celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, or just a romantic date. We will be back soon.
Great, historic ambiance. Food is good but not exceptional. Booked as a 40th Anniversary dinner & not a mention of any occasion?
Soup was delicious. Salmon was tasty.. Lamb was tough . Desserts were excellent. Great service.
Great comfortable environment with formal or garden seating.
The entire visit was a treat. What a special place in the heart of Tucson. We'll be back the next time we visit Tucson.
"Salmon Benedict" on the brunch menu ordered however I couldn't finish it due to "way too salty"
My wife and I love the Arizona Inn! Ahi appetizer is our favorite dish, but nothing has ever disappointed. Consistent quality and service.
We asked for a quiet area for our large group and were put in an excellent location in a side room. It worked out perfectly. Thank you!
One of our favorite places to dine in Tucson. Service was excellent. Food was a little sub par from what I have previously enjoyed at Arizona Inn. Won’t keep me from going back , but will hesitant to order the same dish.
We eat at the Arizona Inn fairly frequently. Lately, it seems the service has gone downhill. The servers are not very attentive and, more than once, we have had to get up and ask someone to find our server. This last time we were the only ones in the dining room, and still didn't see our waitress for a very long time.
We had a private room and a round table for eleven. We could not have had a better experience. The service, ambiance and food were all excellent. It was a memorable and absolutely delightful meal and afternoon.
This is a wonderful restaurant - it is not just a hotel restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is sterling and the ambiance is pleasant and elegant.
The restaurant was FANTASTIC! Great service, staff, and atmosphere. If you have the opportunity try the chef's tasting, I highly recommend. It knocked our socks off. We will definitely be returning and recommending to our friends and family!
The rating would have been higher, but they had a serious service issue. On a Monday nite, we had reservations for (6) people at 6:45, and we were there on time. We were seated at 7:00 (even though our table was open the whole time). We did not get our dinner until 8:45. It took about 15 minutes before our server ever came to see us. The building is really beautiful, and the food was wonderful. But the delays put a damper on the evening.
The food was perfect. The service was attentive yet unobtrusive. The ambience is pure WASP and the dining room was filled with pure WASPs... nary a minority in sight. Of course, that is not the Arizona Inns fault. They have an elegant dining room that needs to be marketed to our large and sophisticated Latinx family.
Overall, a wonderful experience for a special occasion.
Our server, Melody, was excellent - attentive but not intrusive. We appreciated having a conversation in normal voices even though the restaurant was full.
We had a wonderful evening at the Arizona Inn. Exceptional service and delicious, beautifully displayed food items. We definitely will return.
Loved the atmosphere. Beautiful historic building.
Our waitress and hostess were very lovely. The food was almost perfect but I do miss the pretzel buns that they had last year for the gluten free option. There was a minor mix up about sides but it was taken care of before it even became an issue. I always have a wonderful time here
Lovely food and great service too. It was a bit warm though, air conditioning would’ve been nice.
A classic dining experience with excellent food, presentation and service. Perfect location for those special occasion dinners.
We had never been here and it is a must go to! What a wonderfully charming Inn nestled in a beautiful older section of town!
We were early for our reservation but they were able to take us at that time. Sam was our outstanding server and will absolutely request him when we return. ( and we will! ).
My husband had the classic eggs bene which he loved and my sister had the lobster bisque and then the lamb burger which she ate all up.
I myself had the chicken salad with fresh fruit. This was so simple yet full of flavor. The fresh fruit was actually just that very fresh ( strawberry’s, blueberries, black berries, honeydew melon and cantaloupe. It was supposed to be served with a mango vinaigrette but I noticed a lemon basil vinaigrette on another salad and asked Sam if I could request that one which he made happen for me. The whole salad was awesome especially with the new vinaigrette.
Sam was super accommodating and friendly, he really made the whole dining experience truly memorable and craving to go back.
Not really expensive and the main dining room continues to exude that old southwest ranch feel but with refined touches. Down a few steps is a beautiful bar and wonderful indoor patio dining room with big windows with a true atrium feel. It would be a wonderful Inn to put up out of town guests.
All of the associates who we encountered were very friendly and helpful and the gift shop had local created artisan pieces as well as the usual gift items.
There is no reason not to seek this gem out!
We enjoyed a wonderful brunch at the Arizona Inn. Such a beautiful location! Try their corn flake french toast, it is lush.
Excellent dining experience. Food, service, ambiance. All top tier Most definitely coming back when in Tucson next. .
Wonderful Valentine's Day dinner! It was a pre fix 4 course dinner, with multiple choices for each course. Every course was outstanding! There was a small hiccup in service, which was immediately corrected, and an adjustment made on the bill, which was appreciated.
The Arizona Inn is a gem, and so is the restaurant!
Beautiful hotel with a special history in Tucson. The food and ambiance is spectacular...We live here so we would like to do a weekend staycation this spring.
Beautiful room/ inn, wonderful wait staff, fantastic food. Can't ask for anything better.
Although Arizona Inn is still the site after restaurant to go to for special occasions it certainly has seen better days as far as the food and service in my opinion. There are many newer and better restaurants in Tucson these days.
Most beautiful dining room in Tucson. We eat here every time we're in town.
With out out-of-town guests, we thoroughly enjoyed it - especially the beautiful grounds. Thank you for the lovely book of its history.
Great food and place to share a lunch with a friend with atmosphere and quiet. Service was GREAT!! Thank you
Always a pleasure: food, atmosphere, and attention.
Dining here was just as pleasurable as I remembered it from 20 years ago. The warm interior, architecture, service and menu all contributed to make it a memorable evening.
