   Great care has gone into preparing our dinner! Amazing flavours and aesthetically pleasing presentation. The server was very helpful with recommendations and took care to ensure we enjoyed our food. Will definitely recommend and will return!

   Went to Arike for Dine Out Vancouver 2020. First time trying Nigerian food and it was great! The meat was seasoned and cooked well, especially the super tender oxtail. The jollof rice was insanely flavourful. The habanero tested the upper limits of my spice tolerance, but I could still taste the tomato base. The Milo ice cream was sticky and satisfying after the spicy rice.

   Wonderful service, delicious food, very unique cocktails. A little loud for my personal comfort and a little dark (older patrons nearby were using their cellphone flashlight to read the menu), but that's just me being a grumpy grandma and these are issues I have basically any time I'm out of the house past 7pm.

   Food was really good. Server was all smiling and nice but she didn’t really take a real interest in your customers. I was very impressed by the rich flavours and wanted to ask her questions but she looked friendly and didn’t really take the time to connect with the customers. Rice was very good and in huge potion and the two skewers of meat seem small in proportions. Veggies aren’t too costly. It’d be great at least to add more veggies to balance things out. Food was very very good

    Some of the dishes were spicy - so, that will definitely appeal to some patrons. The dishes were definitely unique, and I like the thought that the menu was inspired by the grandmother of the chef - a place to try again in the future.
