Graduation dinner was perfect and delicious!
Dining outside was beautiful and service was excellent
Our first time going and waitress was so helpful.
We had a great experience. The patio is lovely, the food was amazing. Highly recommend!
Stephen was one of the best servers I’ve ever had. He was accommodating, knowledgeable, kind, funny! This kid has it all. We have an incredible experience! The food was great, as usual!! Drinks were fabulous! 11/10!
jack was a fantastic server. Food was great!
This place is amazing! We have eaten there many times but the most recent visit topped them all! Look forward to dining again when we are back on The Plains!
Food and service was very good. We will go back for sure. The dinners we had were their specialty dishes
Food was good, but service was subpar. We sat at our table for over 15 minutes before our server came to take drink orders. There were multiple servers and only a few occupied tables in the restaurant so I’m not sure what the hold up was and he didn’t offer an explanation either. Overall not a bad experience, but was just hoping for more.
Had occasion to travel from Montgomery to Auburn. As is our custom, we look for Italian restaurants when we're out of town because Montgomery has NO decent Italian food. We tried Ariccia and it was excellent. We will be back.
We live in Auburn and love the freshness of the food served at Ariccia! Great job Chef!
Perfect just perfect. Staff really made us feel welcomed!
Great experience and delicious food!
We sat outside in the courtyard and it was a beautiful atmosphere. The service and food were both amazing! Wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary!
Outstanding service from our server, as well as delicious food!
We both had the rigatoni bolognese - it's delicious and huge. We could have split it and still taken a bit home. As it is, we had another meal at home and still enough for a small lunch for one.
Food was very good. Service was excellent.
Excellent food and service!
Thanks to chef Miguel for coming to our table!
Thoroughly enjoyed our evening!
My 70th birthday!
We have never had a bad experience at Ariccia Cucina. The staff are always kind and very knowledgeable. The menu provides a variety of wonderful choices (try the Porchetta) and a robust wine selection.
Would like a little more variety on the main menu since it is a large hotel.
I understand it is Italian- however thise that cannot eat pasta have to leave the hotel to find a little variety.
Food was very seasoned- even salty.
The meat sauces were strong and garlicy, the grits were very very salty.
Good portions, very good service.
The service was great and the food was delicious. The menu changes often so there’s always new things to try. Bit pricy but that’s to be expected.
Very enjoyable dining experience - food and service excellent!
We were there to celebrate a birthday, and the family thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The wait staff was attentive without being intrusive, and responsive to all requests. Noise level was quiet enough to easily hold conversations and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We look forward to dining there again in the future!
Accommodating staff, delicious food. Here for a conference and made a reservation. Table was ready when I was, 10 min early 😊
They were out of the porchetta, which was disappointing. I'm not sure if OpenTable didn't translate my reservation request over, but I had asked for a high-top, and our hostess initially tried to seat us at a U-shaped booth. When I mentioned the high-top, she was very helpful - I think we were in a section that wasn't staffed.
Nice and quiet for a business conversation.
Disappointed in both entrees we ordered, which took forever to arrive and we could only eat half. Bar service extremely slow so got martinis with dinner rather than appetizers. Somewhat loud but mostly from a neighboring table. Very pleasant and good waiter who tried very hard to please despite issues. Would not go again.
Food was delicious - the pasta was fresh and substantial (exactly how pasta should be). My only disappointment was that they ran out of their signature dish as well as some ingredients for one of the pizza's we ordered. This was more than made up for by the amazing service we received.
This was one of the most disappointing meals I've every had. Not sure what has happened to this restaurant. We've eaten there in the past and had good experiences. Maybe there is new management or since they are the hotel restaurant, and get a lot of business that way, they have just become complacent. To begin with, upon arrival, it took much longer than expected for a waiter to greet us. We finally ordered cocktails and proceeded to wait 20 - 30 minutes for them. To his credit, the waiter did keep checking in to tell us that the bar was "backed up" because they only had one bartender working. We could see the bar from our table and noticed that as people arrived to the bar, they received their drinks quickly. Our order was apparently being ignored (although our waiter said he had been inquiring about it). Finally we asked him if HE could just pour us a couple of glasses of wine. He said he could and brought them back promptly. We ordered the Antipasti Board to start. It was "okay" but definitely not as good as the board they serve at Acre, one of our favorite Auburn restaurants. Moving on to the entree portion of our meal, once again we were disappointed. They were out of their Porchetta, their "signature dish", even though it was only 6pm. The Snapper special was good but not great. We were dining before going to a concert, and at this point, because of the slow service, didn't have time for dessert so I can't comment on that. Based on this experience, we will not be returning, but will head to Esposito's in downtown Auburn, when looking for great Italian food.
The restaurant was very accommodating for large parties. The staff and servers were very pleasant, and the food was great!
A really enjoyable meal and experience. Our server, Stephen, was timely and super passionate about the menu. You must have the meatball appetizer!
We got the Porchetta - NOT good at all.
Valentines Da yo
I would recommend Ariccia to a friend because the food is very good and the ambiance of the establishment is one of a kind in Auburn. Go to Opelika and even a little further downtown and you'll find a few places that really compete in this area. We made reservations and got seated shortly after our reserved time, it took 20 minutes of no server to even come let us know they took our table before we asked to find out where they were. I will say that the restaurant was full, but they have plenty of staff to go around. The tables beside us that got seated after us had already gotten their food by the time we got our first round of drinks. I will say that on a slower day this place is probably awesome but in saying that the price value is something to consider. We added shrimp to a pasta dish, there is a $7 up charge for this, which is fine, but not for 4 medium shrimp. The experience was not bad due to the company at my table but service could have been a little more efficient in my opinion.
Valentine's Day special menu. Excellent all the way around.
Great food, GREAT service!
Easy solid choice for dinning conveniently located.
Dear WilliamH, Thank you so much for taking the time to give us feedback. We appreciate your business and hope to see you next time!
The filets were just perfect. We even went back the second night and got the signature dish. So many flavors. Like nothing you’ll ever taste.
Thank you so much CathleenS. We appreciate the feedback and so glad you came back the second night. We look forward to hosting you again soon!
Birthday dinner was perfect. For goodness sake, order the bread appetizer -- gorgeous and phenomenally tasty! They make their own pasta as well. This is no ordinary hotel restaurant.
Thank EEWAREAGLE for the great review and for choosing to dine with us on your special occasion. We truly appreciate it. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
This is a perfect date night getaway. Even when you pull in to a fire alarm evacuation.
