Ariana Ratings and Reviews
Exquisit is what comes to mind when I think of the recent dinner I had at Ariana's. The atmosphere is quaint and quiet and the wait staff did an exceptional job - skilled, polite, and professional. The food was the best I have had since I have been in Bend and coming from the Bay Area and the Denver Metro area that says a lot.
The food is prepared from the heart and its clearly the passion of two great chefs who are skilled and creative. The pricing is a bit steep but the food and service balanced out that aspect of the night. Well done Chef Andres and Ariana Fernandez' for taking classic dishes and giving them a fresh new look and taste.
Nice restaurant, the food was lovely, but the service was not customer focused. The waiter refused to bring bread to my guests who were waiting for me; when ordering I wanted to select appetizers for the group but had to get bossy with the waiter to be listened to. He had his process, probably oriented towards up-selling. Also, service was slow.
It was a meal not easily forgotten; every dish was presented with care, the combination of flavors was spot on, the menu was creative, our server was very knowledgable with the wine list as well as the food, she was attentive but not overbearing. Definetely a five star evening for us. Kudos to the chef.
The food and service were fantastic! The place is small and tables are near one another, this did not bother my husband and I but another couple kept complaining about it and staring at us and other guests. That was annoying/bothersome. The restaurant itself looks like a converted home, liked the feel and ambiance of the place.
Overall the food was very good. The service was excellent. The noise level was extremely hi. I came with my wife and children and it was impossible to have a conversation without raising your voice. We arrived at 8;30 and the table closest to us was tasting several different wines the entire time . Towards the end of our meal they became quite loud and several time we could clearly hear them using profanity. I understand they deserve to have a good time but it wasn't what I was expecting.
Outstanding meal with service that matched the level of excellence of the food. All around experience could not have been better! Portion sizes were just right -- enough to allow you to fully enjoy the blend and fullness of flavors, but not so large as to overwhelm. Really appreciated the option of half bottles of good wine! We are now fans and definitely will return!
It's our go-to place for special occasion and celebration. Food is always wonderful (but for those who need bigger portion, this won't satisfy) and service is always attentive. It's a small-ish establishment and so noise level can be a bit overwhelming. Very accommodating for allergy issues.
Ariana was everything we imagined and more. I made the reservation a month ahead of time for my girlfriend’s birthday and we were not disappointed. After taking a quick Uber to the convenient, Galveston location, we chose the chef’s selections 5-course meal. The food/wine selections were off the charts. Our only suggestion was for the waiter to SLOW DOWN a little in the middle of the experience since we felt pressed to pound our wine since he already had the next glass ready for us on two occasions. That’s just a small detail for improvement as we will return and encourage our friends to dine at Ariana in the future. Definitely Five Stars! A celebration of food!!! The flavors of the dishes are amazing, thoughtfully prepared, reflect the season, and are visually stunning. Definitely go for the Chef's Tasting menu with the wine pairings, that is, if you can tear yourself away from the regular menu. Service is first rate as well - friendly, there for all your needs, but unobtrusive. The staff in front of house and all the chefs in that bustling, creative kitchen deserve the highest praise. Cheers to Ariana and Andres for sharing their passion for food with us and revealing the multi-faceted nature of each ingredient to our taste buds! A true Central Oregon gem.
The food was as superb as always and the chef goes out of his way to make dishes with no bacon, there were 3 of us who wanted the clams and cod but without the bacon cream, so he made a special sauce for us. I also increased the reservation from 4 to 6 just a few days prior and they seated us with no problem. We try to eat there as early as possible as the noise level goes up as the evening goes on. By the time we are leaving, we are glad to do so especially after the very fine meal we had.
As always, the food was amazing. We went with some visiting friends to show them how wonderful the food scene is in Bend, and they were duly impressed. I DID take away one star from service. We had wanted to order an appetizer to have with a cocktail while we looked at the rest of the menu, and our server told us that they didn't do that -- that we had to order our entire meal at once. I tried to explain that we might want to order differently based on the appetizer, but she was steadfast. We ended up doing it her way, but it really just kind of annoyed me....
Always a special treat to dine at Ariana. Celebrated our anniversary with the best Manhattan in town, a delicious meal and our server, Ben was so professional, personable and made everything special for us. The carpaccio is a must for an appetizer. This restaurant is ALWAYS consistent with impeccable service, food and ambience. I have never been disappointed.
If you could only use 7 characters. I would just say " AMAZING ". Our server Castle was fab . The soup was a celery base and delicious. The Rad salad was so fresh and the tastes just radiated. The short ribs over cauli mash are always the best and worth the hard to get reservation. No desert we were full.
Will will be back.
