We made a reservation for our anniversary dinner and we had a fantastic time. Ambiance was a little weird as we weren’t sitting where we thought we would be sitting. We were in more of the bar area and thought we would have been seated in more traditional seating given we mentioned in our reservation that it was a special occasion. Despite that we had a fantastic time. Our waitresses was very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions and gave recommendations while not just steering us to the most expensive things on the menu. The food was fantastic: the tuna cigars were fun, A5 Tataki was delicious and perfectly cooked, white usuzukuri was delicate and not too fishy, and the oysters were the best I’ve had in town. This place will remain at the top of our list of restaurants to go to for a special occasion or for a fun date night.

Another excellent experience! The food is always so good and really without comparison in the entire area. Fine Japanese dining at its best!

We always have the best service and food here. We love this restaurant. Date night, casual night, any night! Laoni is top notch ! She’s always pleasant and knows her menu! Love all her recommendations. The cigar box was so much fun! Best restaurant in Springfield.
