It was meh... Food is ok, but if you are not originally from Korea, one needs some help with the menu, and the waiter seemed like he just got there a couple of hours before us. He did not offer any suggestions, just brought out what we ordered. Not really an atmosphere, the place looks clean but not much else to be said. Rather empty, even though it was Saturday night.
The place was very nice and clean. The environment was very relaxed and welcoming. The food was amazing and the staff was great. Most definitely coming back!!
James was a great server. He was very knowledgeable with the foods and beverages. I will definitely return soon
I loved the aesthetic of this restaurant. It was very quiet but despite that everyone had a smile on their face. Food was well worth the price. Try the bakery while you're there!
Great service, professional staff. Decor is open, not necessarily warm. Big complaint was the music--modern jazz that was very loud. Hard to talk over a be-bop sax solo...
The meat is high quality and servings are abundant. Menu prices, including wine, are quite reasonable.
We had an amazing time at ARI! It was our first trip there, and we did not know what to expect. Every person on the staff was so nice, and we really loved our waiter. They walked us through the experience, and the food was delicious. We love Korean BBQ style restaurants, and this is the place to go if you’re looking a really elegant, high quality version of that experience.
Joey was our server and he was an fantastic. He was attentive, patient, and took great care of every detail.
We ordered a variety of dishes - every single item was delicious! We’ve eaten korean bbq at a lot of places and thoroughly enjoyed the food. However, at Ari the food was on steroids with every dish releasing richer flavors - from the sauces and salt to the side dishes and meats. It’s definitely more expensive than other korean restaurants but we really enjoyed it and will be back when we’re able to splurge again.
Everything was wonderful except the cuts of meat were extremely fatty. All of us had stomach aches afterwards since we are used to leaner meats. Everything else was fabulous. Excellent service, all the sides and sauces were delicious.
Ryan was great and focused. Food was amazing and really enjoyed everything about the experience. 2 thumbs up. More people need to know about this place. We’ll be back when we visit ATL again. Thank yoi
Best Korean Bbq in the city. Super upscale design, should be considered one of the best restaurants in the city.
Great Atmosphere !
We had a great dinner on Christmas Eve. Our server Sean was attentive, friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. We took advantage of one the wine specials that evening. Great place for a special occasion!
They took our Res. for 9 but when we arrived, after a wait, we were given 2 separate tables next too each other cuz they had given the only table big enough to another party. Were seated in group table room (no other good option for us)-VERY noisy so impossible to talk to other table. Waiter extremely soft-spoken and never raised level. Waiter tried to push $56/per person menu-saying the $35/pp and $45/pp all you can eat menu would take longer to serve because he would have to go a long way back and forth to the kitchen when bringing courses. Basically-if you sit in large party room, they expect you to order from $56/pp menu. He had to cook the food at both tables by himself-no added waiter. We chose $35/pp menu-dinner was not too slow & food was tasty, but nothing special-certainly not for the price. Drinks and Bartender were the highlight. Beautiful, special cocktails! BUT only 1 bartender (who is an artist) for whole restaurant. Drinks very slow and restaurant only 1/3 full. Paying took almost an hour cuz they had no idea who had what drinks and one of our party had to help them enter order in computer to separate check into thirds. Had to ask repeatedly for Mgr who was apologetic, but did nothing for us despite their screw up on res. It tasted good and we enjoyed talking to those we could hear-so we didn't complain as much as we should have (drinks helped to mellow us out!). But what a frustrating MESS! The food and experience simply did not warrant $35/pp meal price, let alone the $45/pp price I ended up paying to try 1 selection of Short Ribs from the $45/pp menu. I would go back to the bar-but too many other places in Atlanta to eat-and lack of consideration for our inconvenience left bad taste in my mouth! Simply not good enough to warrant a second try. To add insult to injury-they added a 22% tip to our post-tax bill!! Totally unacceptable. 15% is norm, 18% large parties & 20% for outstanding service. Beware!
Fantastic food and service. Much better than Breakers. Better value.
We loved our experience at Ari Steakhouse. My party of 6 people really enjoyed everything. One of us had a gluten intolerance and they were very accommodating and careful. Food was very tasty and the service is great. Highly recommend it!
An amazing meal and a great atmosphere. We loved just about everything about it!
Ari is a Korean Barbecue restaurant where the food is cooked on a grill in the table in front of you. The server brings traditional Korean sides (a delicious salad of greens, scallions and onions; peanuts cooked in soy sauce, 2 types of kimchi, pickled veggies) and sauces . Your choice of meat(s) is then presented and cooked at your table. We chose the chef's feast. It was all red meat, but they were out of tenderloin and made a substitution. The meat is pretty plain. The ribeye had a wine flavored salt, but other than that the cuts were unseasoned. It was fun, but it was WAY TOO MUCH FOOD FOR 2 people. You don't order a la carte, the whole table makes one selection of meats and you get the appropriate number of portions to share. I'm used to cooking myself at Korean BBQ, so having the server do it was unusual - not unwelcome, since it was my first visit to Ari, but unusual. The food was good and seemed authentic. The cocktail menu was inventive. I would probably go back with a larger group. If you go, forgo an appetizer. The main course and sides are plenty. The meal also included a dessert from the bakery. We were served tiramisu that was good, not great.
Chicken took long to cook for 5 people. Spent a lot of time waiting to eat.
Great experience for first time Korean Barbecue diners. Very pricey compared to other local Korean Barbecue restaurants in Duluth. They may not be as fancy but food quality is as good or better than Ari. Lovely space and desserts are amazing.
Good food, great service, really interesting bakery.
Great service great food! We will be returning soon!!
Great food, interesting variety, really friendly staff!! We’ll definitely go back.
Best Korean bbq in town. Restaurant is clean and high end. Staff is very nice and polite. Overall enjoyable experience!
it was my first time trying korean bbq and i was definitely not disappointed. my friend and i had an excellent time trying the variety of food available, and the all you can eat is truly a steal considering what you get for it. if you decide to go, make sure you ask for noah, because he made everything simple and exciting for us first-timers.
This was a fun experience, first time at a Korean bbq restaurant. Service was great, especially the hostess/waitress, Eunice (spelling?). She went over and beyond to ensure we had a great night. We had the all you can eat selection- which we probably won’t get again- only because we are not used to eating huge portions in one setting. Overall, fun night, great food! Brisket was the best!
The food was very good as was the service, nicely prepared at our table by a friendly waiter. We did the butcher's feast as we had 4 people. Not sure it was worth the price in terms of the amount of food that you get, but it is a fun experience.
Absolutely fantastic. We have tried other Korean BBQ places and this one did not disappoint either. Ari is a good one for upscale nights. Great selection, service, and cuts of meat as well as the overall presentation. Definitely will come back. Our favorite so far!
Not your usual Korean BBQ. For one, they have Wagyu beef imported from Japan and a top end ribeye, all beautifully marbled on the upper menu for melt in your mouth goodness.
The side dishes are fresh, varied and exciting. The staff are attentive and very knowledgeable.
There are affordable options such as the all you can eat menu but if You want to go all out the sky is the limit.
The cake shop provides another layer for after dinner so be sure to give it a visit.
Birthday dinner. They gave a free delicious cake to help celebrate my birthday!!!!
It was our second time there and we loved it. It's a shame it isn't more busy, they deserve to be. The place is huge and with just a few diners it lacked a little atmosphere, although there is music which helps. The food and service are excellent, will definitely return. All you can eat certainly filled us up!
This is a beautiful restaurant with excellent food! The quality if meat is much higher than other Korea BBQ restaurants and well worth it. The cocktails are unique and pair well with the meal. The service is attentive and informative. A must try!
Service and wait times were horrible! The restaurant was not even half full, but the server kept telling us he was too busy to get us simple things (i.e. forks, drinks, etc.). Also, the chef was not accomodating at all for our kids - we asked that they do a fried rice without kimchi, and they acted like it was impossible! Not what you’d expect from what they tout to be a high-end restaurant.
New experience. Kids enjoyed trying new taste. Server took time to talk through different taste and made recommendations since we arrived early in the evening.
This was our first time at a Korean steakhouse. Our server (Noah?) explained everything to us and cooked our food. He was attentive without hovering. The meat was good - might want to step up to Prime next time. But he “all you can eat” was the very best way to explore the options. Had a very fun time and will return.
It was my first Korean restaurant and it probably spoiled me for others. It was delicious, the service was excellent and most importantly fresh. We will be going back.
Food and service were awesome! Took my teenagers and they really enjoyed the cultural experience.
Great fresh food - steak and all meats were top quality!
The staff is awesome. They help you every step of the way with deciding what to get. This is especially helpful for those people that have not been to Korean BBQ before. If you are going for the all you can eat meals they warn you that the better cuts of meat are not on the all you can eat menu. But if you order the better cuts of meat they are of amazing quality.
After doing research on a few Korean BBQ places we decided to give Ari a chance. It was fantastic! Our server Michael was awesome and on point. Meat quality was great all the sides awesome. Only thing that wasn’t so spot on was bartender, didn’t seem to know what she was doing! It’s a bit more pricey than some places but worth it! 4 of us did all you can eat for $160! Which to me wasn’t bad! Will be returning!
