Argyle brings the coastal chic vibe to Ponte Vedra Beach, serving Contemporary American fare with a focus on local FL ingredients. The menu will be an extension of Chef Blackford's personality and passion for cooking. He loves tradition and comfort food, and strives to enhance it's greatness. Look out for his Red Lentil Falafel, Pastrami Sandwich, Wedge Meets Cobb Salad, Fish Tacos, & Smoked Chicken Enchiladas. You will recognize many of his lunch items by name, and experience greatness at first bite. Chef makes many of our breads in-house, as well as tortillas, salad dressings, pickles, and pastas. Ingredients are carefully sourced to bring out the best in each dish. Great service! Loved our usual, Ahi Tuna app so different and tasty!! Scallops dish is my fav and don’t want to order anything else. This may sound crazy but the Parker Rolls are to die for. Would order those everyday if I could!!

Absolutely terrific! Nice, youthful vibe about the place. Well designed, tables nicely spaced. It’s very pricey, such that I skipped appetizers, mostly $14-$16 and higher. Yearned for a soup at $10-$12. My wife had the steak tartare, which she liked a lot. We both hit home runs with our entrees, flounder and scallops. Wonderfully cooked and seasoned and both served wonderfully piping hot. Wines were also on the high price level. We each had decent enough glasses at the low end of the range.

First time at this new restaurant located at a golf club. The food and service was good and attentive. The waiter explained the chef’s philosophy in regard to the sourcing of ingredients. My partner had a filet mignon- the chef wants to make this a destination for steaks. The beef was good and I had the tuna appetizer and the salmon. Both were well prepared. Prices are what we have come to expect but still seemed high particularly for the appetizers and salads. The salmon was well priced and prepared well. I thought the steak was expensive but not being a meat eater, I don’t know. Overall the restaurant is a nice addition to the area.

Excellent chef and staff. Always nice to taste the creativity of the salads and mains. The tuna app is the best! The bar program is pretty good. Wine is good too. Keep pushing PVB to be more adventurous.

We’re from LI NY and just started coming to jax beach. Omg, this place was freaking amazing. I eat at night NYC steak houses to not be impressed but the Akaushi steak was amazing. Like better than lugers, capital grille and dare i say, Del Friscos. The spucy ahi tuna was as good as they all said. Service was amazing (wish i recalled her name). Manager was very attentive. All around, top 3 dinner we’ve had maybe ever.

Only a few tables were occupied and bar was nearly empty on a Friday at 7 PM. My wife had the flounder and I had the salmon. It was probably the best salmon I’ve ever had ,cooked perfectly with crispy skin and seasoned perfectly. My wife said her flounder was excellent. My only complaint is that the drinks were slow to arrive- but delicious. They’ve done a great job on the remodel. It was a bit cloudy and windy or we would have sat in the covered patio area which is set up very nicely. With a livelier crowd the ambiance would have been great.

Argyle checks all the boxes. We were warmly greeted and seated promptly. Their menu selection is awesome. Everyone in my party loved the food. Alex did an amazing job with the cocktails and service. The decor is contemporary and tasteful. One of my new favorites.

the selection of wine choices was very good. The appetizers were delicious, but the bread service was like a lump of lead. The salmon entree were fair, gnocchi was over cooked and burgers my party ordered were terrible, dried up with no flavor. We ordered “medium” and got dried up well done. The burgers were served alone on an oversized plate with nothing to make it look appetizing..even if you weren’t going to eat what would go on a plate for appearances sake, an $18 burger should never be served the way it was. The service was abysmal. The server kept selling the most expensive items on the menu and wasn’t very knowledgeable with the menu items, overall. This sever also pretty much forgot about us. The wait for food was beyond ridiculous. What should have been at most, a 2 hour meal, was 3 hours…for a small party of people. The ambience is nice - similar to when it was 3 Palms. Nice updates to the decor but we won’t be going back any time soon until we hear they’ve improved their service. I suspect the kitchen is disorganized and extremely slow. An unfortunate experience for an expensive night. Train the staff and the kitchen better.

The food was great. We sat outdoors overlooking the golf course. I enjoyed my pastrami sandwich & my friend enjoyed the Fall Salad. It wA lovely to sit outside on this gorgeous day. It was a little loud- I used my “outside voice” for conversation. Our server Jesse was very helpful, enthusiastic, and informative. I will definitely return — next time I’ll have the grilled short rib cheese sandwich!

After having tried Argyle a handful of times the last time was by far the worst. We waited 30 minutes to be seated for a 12:15 reservation, they were short staffed, understandable. After being seated they did not assign us a waiter so we waited about 20 minutes to be poured water, again understandable for a busy understaffed restaurant. The real problems began with the appetizers. The falafel and tuna appetizer were wonderful, our two orders of wahoo crudo did not have the bloodline removed from the pieces of wahoo leading to a less than desirable taste. Finally, two members of the party ordered hamburgers, medium and medium rare, both came out well done. Although the burgers were both credited from the check a two course meal should not take close to three hours.

I ordered an arugula salad with Salmon that sounded great on the menu but it came with one pecan and one beet. For heavens sake for $24 more of the stated ingredients should have been included. The salmon was good. Wines by the glass were over priced. it would go a long way if this neighborhood restaurant also had a happy hour.

My hubby and I had a great evening! Drinks and Ahi tuna appetizer in the bar prior to dinner. Dined indoors and had the deliciously, moist chicken piccata, pear arugula salad and flounder served with beet and mango Israeli couscous. The sticky toffee pudding was delicious - do t skip it! Large enough for 4 to share.

Our first time having dinner at Argyle was FANTASTIC. I am so happy to have this elevated dining experience here in the Jacksonville area. The ambiance is lovely- upscale but not pretentious. The food (and drink!) was creative, fresh and most importantly absolutely delicious. Our server, Douglas, was a true professional and he really added to the great experience. Management was welcoming and attentive. Thank you Douglas and the entire Argyle staff for a meal we won't soon forget!

Service was slow due to the kitchen, not our waitress. Sent back one entree ( new in the menu, pork pierogi..it was not good). The waitress and manager were very quick to make amends. Parker house rolls, tuna tartare and Sunday gravy were great.

We wait a full 15 minutes to even get noticed by a waitstaff member to be told twice… I’m not your server! Finally the manager brought over who he claims to be our best and then the evening began. All I can say is that the food was very good but we won’t be back.

Our server was more than helpful and answered los of questions without hesitation. He told us the chef’s backstory which was cool and how he chooses his menu. Ambiance is upscale casual. I ordered salmon which was nice, but not outstanding. The presentation was pretty but the whole dish was severely under seasoned. I never add salt to dishes I order out but this one needed it badly.
