Its a wonderful experience. Beautiful setting and professional staff. Friday night they offer $42 prefix menu and live jazz. The serving is little slow between each course. My main course is sword fish. Its huge and a little stinks.

Wow! I enjoy a lot of great restaurants nationwide, but this was truly great. Went with my family during a vacation to NYC. They didn’t bat an eye at bringing my 11 & 14 year old sons - which my wife & I greatly appreciated. They also offered french fries (not on the menu) to my very picky 14 year old to go with his steak. The manager spent some time talking with us - and mostly to our kids about what they loved most about our trip so far. My Dover Sole & my wife’s halibut were perfect. Grilled Octopus was the best I’ve ever had. Tableside Caesar salad, big enough for two, was so fresh & delicious. Service was outstanding all night. Just an awesome experience! Great place to celebrate a special occasion. From the moment you enter this restaurant you are transported to another era. Make sure you engage with the sommelier. He is attentive, incredibly well informed and will pick a perfect match for your meal. I can never pass up the table side prepared Caesar salad.fe M.
We had a wonderful waitress and bartender. The food was great, and the drinks were good. It was my wife's birthday and she enjoyed it greatly.

They were out of the wine that I originally ordered and by the time they took my order for a different wine we had already finished our appetizers and our main courses were being delivered. The food was very good and the wine was delicious but the service was slow.

Ken Aretsky may not have the scale of Danny Meyer's restaurant empire, but he has more than achieved the service standards. Patroon stands out for welcoming its loyal clientele and first time visitors alike. The food is first rate; the kitchen consistent every meal. The wine list is compact but well selected (there are some real gems). In a neighborhood that is a restaurant desert, it is always a good choice.

Came in for lunch yesterday, great place to drop in for a delicious bite in Midtown. Perfect for a power lunch and couldn’t be happier with the way that my guest and I were treated. Will definitely be back.

We booked Artesky's for restaurant week based on the excellent reviews on open table but overall, it was a disappointing experience. Although the service and ambiance were nice, the food was uninspired and not at all what we'd expect from a restaurant of this calibre. It seems as though they were testing out some new dishes for the first time for restaurant week and nobody taste tested them beforehand to see if they were actually any good. Overall, a disappointment and we won't be returning or recommending this restaurant to anyone else.

We went for restaurant week and it was awesome. The owner came out to shake everyone’s hand. That personal touch made it all the more worth it. The food was on point and the ambience was perfect.
Meal was overall good, with the exception of the quail, the bed lacked flavor. The veg salad was overdressed and too acidic, not edible.
I had the restaurant week menu, which is identical in price and selection to the weekly Friday evening prix- fixe. I was seated on the ground level. It is possible that an upstairs room would be quieter and the regular menu better. I ordered the matched wine, for my entree of Wagyu beef stew, which was a Cabernet Franc at $15/glass. Despite letting it "open " for about 1 hour, it was still too tannic and vinegar-like to drink. The entree was very tender, but the size of a small appetizer, and the appetizer ( quail ), ordinary. The best part of the meal was an excellent creme brûlée dessert. Having been in the restaurant business, I am being very generous in my rating. However, I would save this establishment for a costly, expense account dinner.

I picked this for Restaurant Week because of their high reviews and they didn't disappoint. I love the 1940's old New York vibe with an amazing waitstaff. I was so impressed I told everyone at work about it and we'll be back! It was super special.
Wonderful experience all around. This is my favorite restaurants in NYC by now. Everything is just perfect. Lively, upscale and and warm vibe, superb food, and very professional staff. I don’t remember when my husband and I were last vowed that much by a restaurant.
I suggested here with a couple of colleagues for dinner on Monday evening. It had a great atmosphere and a lovely set menu for Restaurant Week. We chose the wine pairing to match and it was delicious. The service is excellent and so was the food and wine.

Fantastic food and service. Definitely a great choice to entertain a client that's coming in to NY... kind of the best of all worlds for a business dinner: real old NY vibe but incredible menu and service.
A very good restaurant with a self imposed attitude (little haughty). Only went there because I read a lot of Stewart Woods and he frequently mentions it. Very expensive for what you got.

Had been wanting to try this restaurant to see why Stone Barrington is such a frequent customer ;>) Author, Stuart Woods, must always dine for free here! Very nice ambiance, friendly and accommodating staff, impeccable service and delicious food. One of the best Caesar salads (The table side preparation is a nice touch.) we've ever had. Wanted to check out the upstairs terrace bar but it was closed for an event. Will try next time we are in town.
