   This is one of my favorite restaurants in New York. The food is always exceptional. But what makes this place my favorite is so many things that result in a perfect dining experience. The room is beautiful (great decor, lighting, and one of the great photography collections), comfortable, and designed for dinner table conversations. The people are unbelievable. I don't know how they do it. I always feel as if I am their favorite guest and I think everyone feels that way. I take people there and that is the only place they want to meet again! Ken Aretsky is so welcoming, his son the same (and adorable), the maitre'd has more energy than I have in a week and is the most charming man, and everyone makes you feel at home. The steak, which they are known for, is the best I have ever had, and everything else from the dinner rolls to the beignets is worth the trip. All in all, every evening there is a treat!

   Finally had a chance to try Aretsky’s Patroon for lunch during a recent trip to the city and it was fantastic! Excellent food and Liz provided outstanding service. Meeting Mr. Aretsky himself made it even more special. Can’t wait to go back and try the rooftop bar!

   Excellent food. Steak was cooked perfectly. Service was also very good. Out of town clients were very impressed. Thanks to the staff and chef for a great night.

   Patroon never varies from top notch attentive and caring service to absolutely delicious and well presented cuisine. And the owners Ken and Gene Aretsky, stop by the table extending warm and sincere welcomes. We love this restaurant and always return when we are in the city.

   I don’t post reviews often - but I am compelled to this time. My wife and I have been blessed to be able to dine all over the world. I would Rate Aretsky’s Patroon as one of the best restaurants we’ve ever experienced. The atmosphere, the service, and the food were all top notch. Stefan, in particular, our waiter was the highlight of the evening. It wasn’t just a meal - it was an evening that is destined to be a long-lasting memory.

    Patroon remains a constant. From father to son -- the restaurant has remained true to itself. It continues to deliver top notch food, first rate service, in a warm comfortable environment. It is not a restaurant for the newest reviews on tick-tock. It is for a professional, grown up, deliciously tasty dinner where you feel welcome to return and the customer is appreciated. It remains a perfect mid-town lunch spot as well. Ken, Diana and Gene deliver and make me want to return again and again. Take it for a spin!
