    Midtown’s top combination of fine, French-accented New American cuisine and impeccably coordinated service, in a setting of relaxed elegance (flattering lighting!), with the gracious hospitality of Stéphane, ever watchful and charming, alongside the warm welcome of Gene. It’s the grand finale of every NYC visit for us, where we’re treated like weekly regulars despite being annual guests. This time, we swooned over the grilled seafood salad and the lobster & heart of palm “pasta.” Bonus: their sommelier is both deeply knowledgeable and refreshingly down-to-earth — a rare and helpful combination.

    Great for business dinners. Outstanding food. The wine advice was very sensible and good. Various members of the family that owns the restaurant came by to introduce themselves, despite it being a very busy evening. Very nice people. Unlike most of the typical business dining spots (particularly steak houses), they did not rush us out. I will definitely return.

    Loud and so over priced. We waited over an hour for our food and it showed up cold. Not to mention it’s over priced by 2x the standard in the area. Very disappointed. You’d h the ink if a $200 steak shows up cold they’d give a hoot. Nope!

    this restaurant is everything that was good about the NYC in the old days. i could eat here every day. Every dish is excellent and the bar is the best place to be.
