Outstanding restaurant! Amazing ambience and fabulous food
I LOVE this place! The menu has changed again! Love to try everything new - luckily they still have the amazing challah bread to start!! but the new items are exciting and fantastic. And when they add truffles to the pasta or the chicken, they ADD TRUFFLES!! Lovely large slices - no tiny little shavings you get in most places. Can't wait to go back! Maybe for Valentine's day special menu....!!
Everything was great from the cocktails to the food. The server was also quite helpful. As mentioned by other patrons, our meal was completed in under an hour. Had it been paced better I would be running back.
From the moment I walked in, I loved how I was greeted immediately which in NYC, it’s tough. The bartender was amazing, and the host brought us to where the chefs had a open kitchen experience it was quite amazing. Overall being opened for 10 months with most businesses are closed on W 8th Street they are doing well and will highly recommend this to my colleagues and friends. I will definitely come back again! :-)
Food was great. But did a tasting menu for New Years and portions were large for a 6 course tasting menu and no wine pairings. Price was very high in comparison to the experience. Would like to try it on a normal night to see if the value is there....
the waiter did not advise us well. Despite asking whether the quantity ordered was not too much, he served us far too much
Food: brave attempt to be innovative, but every course is a failure in that respect. Too pretentious for what it delivers.
Service: The courses were forced down your throat. Within 45 minutes we had finished our 270 dollar meal.

Best dinner ever!!! Had 26th anniversary dinner with kids - wagu steak, scallops, chilean sea bass and sides. Everything was cooked to perfection. If you are a foodie, this place is a must. Great wine selection too. Chef Ryan is very friendly and we complimented him on our way out. Will return next celebration.
Went there for our wedding anniversary and got seated at the “Chef’s table” - amazing experience to see the crew at work!

Second time dining here and it was just as good or better than the first time. I had the summer menu with my wife the first time around and this time the fall menu! Our server told us that the winter menu will be coming out soon so we will be back for that! The fluke, sprout salad, and king crab were delicious to start! Second we had the most tender octopus I have ever had and a delicious pasta with duck. For our last course we had the lamb and bass which were delicious! Thank you Ardyn for another incredible evening!

First off, this place is quite beautiful. It has a nice set up - bar first with floral wall by surfacebybeauty, then dining area with open kitchen. The ambiance allowed a very chill, private vibe but not isolating. The service was quite wonderful and very welcoming. Spencer was a delight. The food came out seamlessly one course after the other-perfect timing. Each plate was beautifully plated- you can tell the chefs take pride and thoughtfully places in each item on the dish. Although they are small dishes, there is so much food and favors that you end up full at the end of three courses. Everything was delicious in its only unique way. Appreciate all the thought put into the different flavors. I was quite sad that we were too full to order dessert- (really wanted to try the apple cobbler thing on instagram). Recommend: acorn squash dish, octopus, duck, and lastly, the lamb.

A remarkable restaurant that manages to have a vibrant, exciting bar, separated from their main dinning room by a curtained archway that isolates noise without isolating or alienating feelings. Then another step and you enter the intimate kitchen counter dinning area! The food is delicious. Multi dimensional dishes, whether vegetarian, fish, foul or meat, are all fantastic. The wine list is extensive without being inflamed and the drinks are very well priced. The staff is friendly and the chefs are having fun - when do you see that! We have been here twice for two different menus and cannot wait to experience the next new dishes.
Absolutely! The food was not just good, it was wonderful. I really appreciated the time the chefs took to make all of the dishes not just great tasting, but looking.
It is nice to still go out to dine and feel the welcome of great service!

We visited Ardyn on Saturday knowing only that it was new and the reviews were excellent. We were not disappointed. We dined a bit late so we chose a number of small plates including the brussel sprout salad, pickled beet salad, and spanish octopus to share. The food was delicious but even more wonderful was the service which was prompt but not rushed, warm but not overly friendly...and then we met Elizabeth, our host, who offered temporary tattoos, glitter, and complimentary after-dinner drinks to entertain us and the young couple next to us! We stayed an extra 30 minutes just to chat and enjoy the company and I wore my new tattoo to a wedding the following evening and regaled everyone with tales of the food and fun of the evening before. We will return!
The food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect. Great service. A tad bit warm if you sit against the kitchen, but cool experience watching them cook and speaking with the chefs. 100% will go back!

Couldn’t wait to return again to Ardyn! We were again welcomed by Elizabeth as if we were in her home- so hospitable ! The staff were amazing from our server, Spencer to Chris with his special creative cocktails! The decor is enchanting - as if you are dining in the “great forest” itself Ardyn!). Most impressive is the wonderfully created seasonally fresh dishes by Chefs Ryan and Adam-truly over the top delicious- from the fluke crudo , king crab appetizer and Brussel and kale salad to the pumpkin risotto, sea bass and the pièce de résistance: the duck - we were in culinary heaven. Everything was so delicious and it was fun to share a variety of beautifully presented plates with our family. We will return soon! Two weeks to be exact!!! Just dreaming about it...
I had a wonderful time at Ardyn- The manager Liz and our server Bryor were very accommodating for a party of 3 that turned into a 6. Liz and Bryor were very helpful in making the unexpected larger group work. The food was exceptional and highly recommend the brussel caesar salad and short rib which were also recommended by our server.
Came in on a Saturday night with my husband. From the time we entered to the moment we left, the service was impeccable and Elizabeth and the whole staff were amazing. Chris at the bar recommended some of his seasonal cocktails which we thoroughly enjoyed (DELICIOUS!!) before being seated. We opted to taste several dishes and were not disappointed. The decor is stunning - perfect for a date night or a night out with friends - and we felt like we were on vacation the whole time we were there. Next time we'll bring friends so we can try even more dishes!!

OMG THIS PLACE is out of this world the food is AMAZING the service OVER THE TOP! You must get the fluke, risotto and duck! The cocktails are a well balanced and the wine list is terrific. But what really made our night was liz the manger and our server bryor
My fiancé and I came to Ardyn for our anniversary and were blown away by the hospitality, as well as the food. The team went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The acorn squash and cavatelli are NOT to be missed! We will absolutely be back with friends!
Our evening at Ardyn for our anniversary was a delight. The staff did everything they could to make our evening special. In addition, I had alerted the staff that my husband uses heating aids. Not only did they give us a quiet table but they turned down the nearby speaker. We will be back soon!
Outstanding. Our second time here. First time, my wife and I sat at the chef’s counter and had an amazing meal while interacting with the chef, which was a great experience. We liked it so much, we came back with another couple and were able to try many more things. The menu changes seasonally, so we are looking forward to going back again and again
This restaurant is attractive and the front-of-house is working very well -- server gracious etc. The restaurant has issues in the kitchen in my opinion. We ordered multiple dishes. Many were oversalted. Flavors were muddy - each dish tasted more or less like the others. I would definitely suggest that they overhaul the menu with an idea to really create distinctive, bright flavors in each dish so each small plate really shines. For what they are charging, the food should really be more refined. Sorry I cannot be more positive.
If Ardyn can elevate their service and wine program, they have a chance at being a truly exceptional restaurant. Food was by and large incredibly impressive. Ambiance and concept are perfect. All around, will be very interesting to watch them develop.
